I Became the Strongest Villain in One Piece

Chapter 149: SVOP: Chapter 149

Vladimir was getting quite impatient, but from high altitude, looking down at the New World of the Grand Line, he was able to see a lot of things.

”The magnetic force in this area is chaotic. The islands are actually suspended in the air!”

Vladimir looked down, and about a few thousand meters below, he could see islands floating in mid-air.

”Hmm, wait, is the altitude decreasing? This isn’t 10,000 meters anymore?”

Sensing it slightly, he could roughly determine that the altitude had decreased to about 5,000 meters.

Time flew by, and in the blink of an eye, another day had passed.

On this day, Vladimir saw an elephant walking on the sea. The elephant’s body was extremely huge, not the level of a few hundred meters, but thousands of meters. It seemed like a walking mountain, and on its back existed an island, a country.

”That’s Zou...”

After another half day, the flying altitude continued to decrease, to only about 3,000 meters.

At this time, it was already evening.

Vladimir saw another novel thing, which was a group of whales, numbering up to hundreds, each with a length of nearly a thousand meters. Even the cubs among the whales were comparable to the hundred-meter bodies of ordinary sea kings.

Hundreds of super-large whales, sometimes leaping out of the water, and sometimes spouting out water columns, were heading towards the direction of the setting sun.

”Sun-Chasing Whales?” Vladimir raised his eyebrows in surprise, saying, ”A large group. Rumor has it that the value of one of these whales is nearly 500 million...”

This couldn’t help but make Vladimir’s hands itch a little. He really wanted to break the shield and go down to subjugate the whale group.

”These whales understand human nature, and possess high intelligence. Their combat power is extremely outstanding. There was once a merchant ship that saved a cub, and later, the whale group repaid their kindness, presenting the deep-sea secret treasure ’Devil Fruit’.”

Of course, this was just a rumor, and no one knew if it was true.

Considering that the destination might already be very close, Vladimir had to restrain himself.

On the third day, the flying altitude was less than a thousand meters.

Vladimir could clearly feel that the shield had begun to weaken, as if it was telling him that the destination was near.

He originally thought that it would take another day or so of flying time, but at noon, Vladimir saw the destination.

It was a huge island, very huge. Taking Amazon Lily as a comparison, this giant island was probably dozens of times larger than Amazon Lily.

Rather than calling it an island, it was more like a continent in the sea.

Because the altitude was too low, Vladimir couldn’t look down on the entire island, and could only see clearly that there were many giant ancient trees on the island.

The ancient tree forest was incredibly luxuriant, and the tallest tree even had nearly a thousand meters.

”What a big island. Where is this exactly?”

Whoosh!

The flying altitude suddenly began to decrease rapidly. After about ten minutes, Vladimir, like a shooting star, fell onto the shore of the island.

Bang!

The shield landed, and violently shattered, reducing all the impact.

Vladimir safely set foot on land. He didn’t rush to act, but looked around.

”Strange, I’ve never heard of such a big island.”

This wasn’t the first time Vladimir had come to the New World, and he was clear about the general sea area division of the New World. He might not be able to determine where the famous islands were, but he could roughly determine the general direction.

”I’ll explore first. Are there any Devil Fruits here?”

Thinking this, Vladimir stepped towards the depths of the island.

The outer perimeter of this island was an ancient tree forest. Once he entered the forest, Vladimir’s height of 1.9 meters seemed so small.

All objects seemed to have been magnified countless times, or rather, he had become smaller countless times, giving him the illusion that he was a dwarf.

”Hmm?”

Suddenly, in Vladimir’s perception, there was the aura of a creature.

He suddenly raised his head, looking upwards, and in the dense branches and leaves, something was falling.

Slightly narrowing his eyes, Vladimir’s line of sight, from the gaps between the branches and leaves, saw clearly what was falling.

It was a person, a giant, with a height of thirty meters. As he was falling, he raised one foot, stepping towards Vladimir.

”Intruder!”

A muffled scolding sound came.

Vladimir’s figure moved, quickly retreating, and the next moment, boom!

The giant’s foot stepped down, and the entire earth shook.

”Such a small ant, is actually so agile.” That giant looked down at Vladimir, his face revealing anger, saying, ”I am a border guard warrior. According to the kingdom’s regulations, I will extinguish and kill the intruder!”

Saying this, the giant didn’t allow any explanation, and again stepped down with one foot.

Boom!

This time, Vladimir didn’t dodge, calmly watching the giant’s foot stepping down.

”Hmph, crushed flat?” The giant chuckled, but the next moment, his smile stiffened.

Under his foot, something was expanding, at an incredible speed, quickly pushing away his right foot.

Roar!

The sound of a dragon’s roar rang out, and white light shone, a behemoth suddenly darting out.

”Dragon?” The giant staggered a few steps, retreating and looking forward, and couldn’t help but widen his eyes, saying, ”Impossible! A hundred-meter-class giant dragon, is the leader of Dragon Island? Bastard, we have an agreement of mutual non-aggression. What do you want to do here?”

Black scales glistening, dragon head held high.

This time, it was Vladimir’s turn to look down at the giant. He spoke human words, saying, ”Nothing, I just want to beat you up!”

As soon as the words fell, the dragon’s tail swung, its momentum awe-inspiring.

With the giant’s large body, there was no way to dodge. With a loud crash, he was directly sent flying hundreds of meters, breaking more than ten ancient trees.

”Tell me, where are the Devil Fruits here!”
