Our Anniversary, You Chose Her – I Chose Divorce

”Walker, your girl is kissing another guy. Aren’t you going to do something about it?” Nathaniel Monroe blurted out without thinking.

He only realized his mistake after the words were out, and he immediately slapped his own mouth.

Walker Grant shot him a cold glance. ”Why don’t you go handle it?”

Sheepishly, Nathaniel Monroe scratched the back of his head. ”Heh... So, uh, since we’re free today, what should we drink?”

”...”

Chloe Reed turned the male model’s face away, leaned back, and said, ”I want this one, this one, and that one.”

She pointed at several bottles of liquor. ”Mix me a drink.”

The male model replied, ”Of course.”

Watching from the side, Iris Yates couldn’t help but say, ”Chloe, why didn’t you kiss him? Get a taste of another man, and you won’t be so hung up on that damned scumbag.”

Chloe Reed languidly lifted her eyelids, glanced at her, and said, ”I don’t want to share a man with other women.”

Iris Yates froze for a moment, then nodded. ”Good point. So dirty.”

Then, she looked at the surrounding male models and said, ”All of you, go dance. I want to watch.”

The male models stood in front of the booth and started dancing to the rhythm of the music.

The male model next to Chloe Reed quickly mixed her a drink and handed it over. ”Miss, this one’s pretty strong. You might want to take it easy.”

”If it’s so strong, why didn’t you just tell me not to drink it?” Chloe Reed raised an eyebrow, a faint, unreadable smile on her face as she looked at the model.

The male model said, ”People come here for one of two reasons: either just to have fun, or because they’re troubled. I have a feeling you’re the latter. That means you’re going to drink no matter what. Since I can’t stop you, the only thing I can do is advise you to take it easy.”

Chloe Reed took a sip. ”Aren’t you perceptive.”

The male model said, ”It’s all part of the job.”

He then asked, ”How about a shoulder rub? I’m very good at it.”

”Sure.”

Chloe Reed agreed.

The male model stood up, moved behind her, and began kneading her shoulders, relaxing her muscles.

Chloe Reed’s eyes narrowed in pleasure. The pressure was just right.

Meanwhile, Iris Yates was completely captivated by the dancing male models. Her gaze was fixed on them, darting from one man’s abs to another’s pecs.

The bar grew more crowded, and plenty of young men and women flocked to the dance floor.

A sudden impulse struck Chloe Reed. She grabbed Iris Yates and said, ”Come on, let’s go dance.”

Iris Yates nodded. ”Yeah, yeah! You guys, come on! All of us!”

She didn’t forget to call the male models over, too.

With so many people suddenly flooding the dance floor, it instantly became crowded.

The male models formed a protective circle around them, making sure no one could take advantage of the crowd to get too close.

Chloe Reed ran a hand through her hair, undid the top two buttons of her shirt, and started to move with the music.

She could only let her guard down for a moment. Her future was unknown, and it felt as if none of her plans would ever be realized.

The moment she thought about the future, Chloe Reed’s mind would fill with a thousand anxieties, leaving her feeling lost and overwhelmed.

A man suddenly wrapped his arm around her waist and started grinding against her. She turned to look, her brow just beginning to furrow when the music cut out abruptly.

Immediately after, all the lights in the venue suddenly went out.

”What’s going on?”

”Why did the lights go out?”

”Manager? Manager? Fix it, quick!”
