Our Anniversary, You Chose Her – I Chose Divorce

Chloe Reed asked, ”Then what would make you feel better? Should I take you shopping?”

”Let’s go hire some male models.” A glint appeared in Iris Yates’s eyes as her interest was piqued. ”I’ve seen way too many hideous men lately. I need to look at some handsome ones to cleanse my palate.”

Chloe Reed nodded. ”Okay, let’s go.”

”Let’s go!” Iris Yates declared.

The two of them headed straight for Blue Night Club.

Instead of getting a private room, they took a booth in the main bar. With a grand wave of her hand, Iris Yates told the manager to bring drinks and to have all the male models brought out. She wanted to inspect them one by one!

The manager glanced at Iris Yates and Chloe Reed’s attire. Seeing they were both decked out in designer brands, he went to carry out her request without hesitation.

A few moments later, twenty men were standing in a line before them.

With one arm crossed and the other stroking her chin, Iris Yates paced back and forth, looking the men up and down.

Finally, she pointed to one. ”He can stay. The rest won’t do. Bring up another twenty!”

After nearly sixty male models were presented, Iris Yates kept five. Only then did she say with reluctant satisfaction, ”Alright, come here. If you can make me happy tonight, I’ll make it worth your while.”

The five male models immediately swarmed her, massaging her shoulders and legs, and feeding her drinks and fruit. One of them took Iris Yates’s hand and asked, ”Would you like to feel my abs, miss?”

Iris Yates was thoroughly enjoying herself. Where was that gloomy woman from before? Not a trace of her was left.

’Do handsome men really have this kind of effect?’

Chloe Reed watched from the side, lost in thought.

Her phone vibrated. She took it out and saw it was a message from Daniel Hayes.

Daniel Hayes: [Miss Reed, rest assured. I’m just behind you to your left. Take your time and enjoy yourself.]

A small smile touched Chloe Reed’s lips, and she felt some of her tension ease.

”You, go entertain her,” Iris Yates said, pointing to a young, wolfishly handsome model. ”She’s a super-rich heiress. Make her happy, and you can have anything you want!”

The model immediately went to Chloe Reed’s side. ”Miss, what would you like to drink?”

Chloe Reed said, ”Why don’t you make a recommendation?”

The model diligently began to list the options, his gaze landing on her face from time to time. It wasn’t sleazy, but held just the right amount of warmth.

Blue Night Club had very strict selection criteria for its models.

Their looks and physique had to be top-notch.

And this one...

In the dim light, Chloe Reed narrowed her eyes. ’From certain angles, he actually looks a bit like Walker Grant, doesn’t he?’

’Those sharp, well-defined features... especially when he lowers his eyes.’

Chloe Reed suddenly grabbed the model’s chin, forcing him to look at her.

’Face-on, the resemblance is gone. But he’s still handsome.’

”Miss...”

The model’s tone became seductive as he leaned in, little by little.

「Not far away.」

Nathaniel Monroe, one hand in his pocket, was chatting with Walker Grant when he caught something out of the corner of his eye. He immediately grabbed Walker’s arm.

”Holy shit! Walker, isn’t that your girl? Holy shit, they’re about to kiss!”

Walker Grant followed his friend’s gaze. Amid the shifting lights and shadows, Chloe Reed was acting incredibly intimately with another man.

From his angle, he could only see the back of the man’s head as he inched closer and closer to Chloe Reed’s face.

The next second, the man’s head completely blocked his line of sight. ’They... kissed.’

Walker Grant’s expression instantly darkened, and he started walking straight toward them.

”Walker?”

But after just a few steps, Walker Grant stopped.

He let out a cold scoff, then turned and walked toward a nearby private room.

Nathaniel Monroe was utterly dumbfounded. ”Walker, what are you...?”

’What the hell is going on?’

’He looked like he was about to murder someone a second ago, so how is he so calm now?’
