Starting Out As The God of Beasts

Eurenia let out a soft, low grunt, her body stirring under the lingering exhaustion that weighed down her limbs.

Slowly fluttering her eyelashes open, her golden eyes blinked against the dim light filtering through the curtains.

The cool draft brushing against her bare skin instantly alerted her to her condition—she was lying completely naked in the middle of the vast wooden bed.

She jolted upward in shock, her heart slamming against her ribs as her silver tail lashed out in panic.

She instinctively snatched the silk duvet, pulling it tightly over her chest as her golden eyes darted frantically around the room.

”Relax, Eurenia... it is only me.”

A smooth, gentle voice echoed from the side of the chamber.

Eurenia turned her head quickly to see Alisa stepping out of the bathroom.

Alisa looked breathtaking.

She was draped in a short crimson gown embroidered with delicate white cloud patterns, her sleek black hair falling in a shimmering wave over her shoulders.

Her skin glowed with a radiant, post-cultivation vitality, and a serene, knowing smile rested upon her lips.

Eurenia let out a long, ragged exhale, her shoulders dropping as she loosened her white-knuckled grip on the bedsheets.

She ran a hand through her messy silver hair, her brows furrowing.

”Alisa... what happened?” Eurenia asked, her voice slightly hoarse. ”Why was I... why am I naked?”

Alisa paused, tilting her head with a subtle, mischievous gleam in her emerald eyes.

”Do you truly not remember?”

The moment those words hung in the air, a sudden wave of vivid, explosive memories rushed back into Eurenia’s mind.

The heat.

The sweet, overwhelming scent of divine vitality.

The long, breathless hours spent tangled in the bedsheets with Roy.

She remembered the feeling of his rock-hard, muscular arms pinning her against the mattress, the crushing power behind every relentless thrust, and the sheer, mind-numbing pleasure as his massive rod repeatedly slammed into her tight, desperate core.

He had taken her with such absolute, divine intensity that her mind had eventually surrendered, knocking her out cold in a wave of pure, rapturous bliss.

FLUSH!

Eurenia’s face turned bright, crimson red in a fraction of a second.

The heat spread rapidly from her cheeks all the way to the tips of her crimson feline ears, making them twitch uncontrollably.

It had felt like heaven.

A wild, unbridled euphoria that no mortal experience could ever match.

A deep, desperate hunger blossomed inside her chest—she wanted it again.

She wanted to feel his overwhelming weight pressing down upon her, to be swept away in his embrace once more.

”I know, right?” Alisa giggled softly, reading the sudden, intense look on Eurenia’s flustered face with absolute ease.

Eurenia bit her lower lip, a soft, immensely satisfied smile breaking through her embarrassment.

She swung her legs over the edge of the mattress, clutching the duvet around her waist.

”Go take your bath,” Alisa instructed, pointing her slender finger toward the steaming bathroom door. ”Master Jarden went out a few hours ago to survey the city. He explicitly ordered us not to leave this room under any circumstances until he returns.”

Alisa reached into her pocket, producing four dense, shimmering mana cores, setting them neatly onto the nightstand.

”He also left us four new high-tier mana cores. We are to cultivate immediately after you are finished washing up.”

”Understood,” Eurenia nodded eagerly, her spirits lifted. She wrapped the silk sheet around her frame, stood up, and made a beeline straight for the warm bath.

The bathroom door had barely clicked shut behind Eurenia when a sharp, authoritative knock echoed through the silence of Room 301.

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

Alisa’s emerald eyes instantly narrowed into sharp, deadly slits.

The warm, flustered aura around her vanished in an instant, replaced by the razor-sharp focus of an Initial-Enlightened Martial General.

Without making a sound, her hands glided beneath the folds of her crimson gown, her fingers silently closing around the cold iron hilts of her twin Phantom Veil daggers.

Maintaining her human disguise, she glided across the wooden floorboards, stopping a foot away from the heavy oak door.

”Yes?” Alisa asked, her voice dropping into a cool, distant tone.

”Greetings,” a calm, deep masculine voice called out from the hallway. ”Am I addressing the quarters of the newly arrived travelers?”

The voice paused for a moment before continuing with a smooth, professional cadence. ”I am an official from the Kaelos City Immigration Department. We require a quick verification of your entry permits.”

Alisa’s lips curled into a cold, contemptuous line. Immigration Department? Such a crude, pathetic lie.

”One moment,” Alisa replied smoothly.

She eased her daggers back into her concealed sheaths, ensuring her suppressed, mundane facade was perfectly intact.

She unlatched the heavy iron bolt and pulled the door open a few inches.

Standing in the hallway were two tall, muscular men clad in high-grade leather armor stamped with the crest of the city guard.

The moment the door opened, a dense, aggressive wave of spiritual energy rolled off their bodies, openly displaying their status as Martial Warriors.

They didn’t even pretend to act like civil officials.

Their eyes instantly locked onto Alisa’s face, tracing down her slender neck, her voluptuous chest, and the curve of her waist revealed by the short crimson gown.

The two men clenched their fists, exchanging a filthy, conspiratorial look as they licked their dry lips.

”Gods above...” one of them whispered in a raspy, greedy tone to his partner. ”The rumors didn’t do her an ounce of justice. She really is a divine piece of work...”

Alisa stood firmly in the doorway, her emerald eyes cold as ice. ”What do you want?”

The lead Martial Warrior stepped forward, placing his heavy, leather-gloved boot directly over the threshold to prevent her from closing the door.

He puffed out his broad chest, channeling a faint pulse of raw mana to intimidate her.

”Your presence has been requested, lady,” the man sneered, a predatory grin twisting his face. ”My boss took a deep interest in the rumors circulating the district today. He needs a beauty like you to come with us to his manor right now... and warm his bed for the evening.”

Alisa didn’t flinch. She didn’t take a single step back.

She merely stared at the arrogant cultivator as if looking at a piece of dirt stuck to the bottom of her boot.

”And if I refuse?” Alisa asked softly, her tone dangerously calm.

The lead Martial Warrior let out a loud, mocking laugh, his hand dropping to the hilt of the broadsword strapped to his hip.

”Refuse?” the cultivator grinned, his eyes burning with dark, unchecked malice.

”A mundane bitch doesn’t get to refuse a cultivator in Kaelos City, sweetheart. If you won’t walk out of here on your own two feet... then we will just have to do this the hard way.”
