Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Nicole’s lips curled into a faint smile, her face turning pale to the point of transparency, her body growing colder and trembling like a sieve: ”Jose Floyd, do you know saffron?”

Jose Floyd didn’t understand why Nicole would mention something so irrelevant at this moment, he held her trembling body with his fingers shaking, ”Nicole, don’t talk anymore... I’ll take you to the hospital. Everything will be fine, you will be fine... Nicole, you still have to come back to Italy with me... Do you hear me?”

Jose Floyd’s roar echoed in Nicole’s ear, and she gave a small smile, still not giving up, ”Do you know the effects of saffron? Jose Floyd, tell me, otherwise not only won’t I go to Italy with you, but I will hate you for this lifetime... Jose Floyd, let me die with my eyes closed, won’t you...”

”You won’t die! You owe me so much, what right do you have to die!” Jose Floyd roared angrily, his throat tightening severely, his eyes dark red: ”Nicole, if you die, I will dig up your grave and won’t let you go!”

”Then tell me... Jose Floyd, while I can still hear, tell me the effects of saffron...”

The child’s death had been entwining her mind these days. It was a pain she could never forget in her lifetime.

Jose Floyd held Nicole’s trembling body tightly, shaking just as she was, yet he still tried to endure it, whispering fiercely, ”That was merely a supplement I bought for my mom. Saffron treats angina, Nicole don’t talk anymore, I’ll take you to the hospital. I beg you, please don’t speak anymore... Nicole, don’t talk anymore, please...”

Nicole’s heart finally got untangled, she grasped Jose Floyd’s sleeve tightly, giving a gentle smile, her face exceptionally pale: ”Jose Floyd, I don’t hate you anymore... Jose Floyd, actually I guessed it wasn’t you... The moment you handed me the ring, I wanted to ask you then.”

”Nicole, I will take you to the hospital...”

Jose Floyd embraced Nicole to get up, yet his frightened trembling almost made them both fall.

Nicole gave a muffled groan, the whiteness of her face became more pronounced, even her lips lost their color.

An unprecedented panic swept through Jose Floyd’s entire body, his fingertips trembling, his eyes a deep red, ”Nicole, you still owe me a lot... Remember, don’t forget, don’t default...”

”Jose Floyd, the debt of one stab, I finally paid it back today... Don’t hold anyone accountable for today’s events, tell brother not to hold anyone accountable, this is owed to Brother Cooper, and I owe you... Jose Floyd, actually, I never wanted your life, even when I put the knife into your left atrium, at the moment of the strike, it miraculously deviated from your heart... Jose Floyd, do you believe my words?” Nicole smiled lightly, her voice barely audible.

Jose Floyd nodded, ”I believe you—”

Just as he never wanted her life, no matter how much hatred or mutual torment, Jose Floyd never wanted Nicole dead.

Nicole leaned against Jose Floyd’s embrace, silently shedding tears, ”Do you love me? Jose Floyd, did you ever feel moved?”

Jose Floyd’s throat was very choked, he paused in silence for a few seconds before speaking in a deep, raspy voice: ”It’s not that I was once moved, I’ve always been moved by you. Nicole... Actually, I never admitted, that you had taken root in my heart long ago. Nicole—I love you, from beginning to end, I only love you. I understood your words, I understood the promise you wanted, and I understood your insecurity and lack of confidence. Nicole, you are not a pet, you were never my pet...”
