Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Jose Floyd made a sound of agreement and extended his left hand.

Nicole paused, ”What do you mean by this?”

Jose Floyd turned his head slightly, his expression and gaze both indifferent, ”I think I’ve made it quite obvious, I’ve been lying in the hospital room for days, I want to move around a bit.”

Walking wasn’t an issue, the key thing was—did this extended hand mean he wanted her support?

Nicole bit her lip and didn’t move.

Jose Floyd’s cold gaze swept over Nicole, his long fingers moved a bit closer, ”Hold me.”

Nicole walked to his front, hesitantly stretched out her hand, her face somewhat unnatural.

Her fingers were fair and beautiful, immediately enveloped in his broad palm as she reached over, Nicole’s fingers trembled slightly, her gaze on Jose Floyd.

Jose Floyd nonchalantly held Nicole’s hand, a flicker in his eyes, suddenly pulling her into his arms, his hand placed on her other shoulder, his whole tall body leaning against Nicole.

”Jose Floyd, you—”

Being a scoundrel!

Jose Floyd’s expression was indifferent, ”If you don’t support me, I can only hold onto you. Rest assured, Jorge will be back soon; once he returns, you won’t need to support me.”

If Jorge really dared to come back, then their brotherhood would be at an end! Jorge wouldn’t be foolish enough to return and act as a third wheel.

Nicole was wrapped in Jose Floyd’s embrace, used as a crutch as they walked towards the cobblestone path.

Their bodies were close, his familiar scent lingered at her nose, making her already chaotic heart even more restless. So restless that she could hear her heartbeat being unusually erratic.

Damn it!

It’s not the first time she’s been close to Jose Floyd, why has it been making her feel so unsettled recently? Even thinking about the past makes her stare blankly for hours, her mind filled with his image, as if entranced.

Nicole lowered her eyes and walked, not speaking, nor looking at Jose Floyd.

Jose Floyd, however, was in a pleasant mood, leaning even more heavily on Nicole. Nicole was wearing high heels, and with Jose Floyd’s weight pressing down on her, the uneven cobblestone path made her walk unsteady.

Suddenly, her heel twisted, and Nicole’s body leaned to the right.

In a panic, Nicole instinctively grabbed the fabric at the front of the person beside her.

Jose Floyd also instinctively wrapped his arm around Nicole’s tilting waist, both of them, with Jose Floyd deliberately shifting his weight onto Nicole, as her heel twisted, all her weight shifted to the right, dragging Jose Floyd, who was trying to save her, down to the right as well!

”Nicole!”

In the chaos, Nicole gripped Jose Floyd’s clothes tightly, her expression a bit fearful.

Meanwhile, in a rush, Jose Floyd let out a low growl, calling out a name he hadn’t gently uttered in years.

Five years ago she was just called Nicole by his side, not yet returned to the Seys Family, she was his alone back then.

Both fell, and Jose Floyd instinctively wrapped his left arm around Nicole’s waist and his right arm cradled her head.

Thud—

A sound echoed, as they fell onto the cobblestone path.

Nicole shrank into Jose Floyd’s embrace, her fingers tightly clutching his clothes, not letting go, as if only in his arms did she never lack a sense of security.

In his arms, she was always at ease and carefree.

The expected sharp pain did not come, and Nicole slightly lifted her gaze to look at Jose Floyd’s face, who fell with her.

Jose Floyd frowned deeply, but when Nicole’s gaze fell on him, he met her eyes and asked lightly, ”Are you okay?”
