Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Nicole sat in the lounge, while Anaya Campbell helped her arrange her engagement dress, and the makeup artist was earnestly touching up Nicole’s makeup.

Nicole stared at her reflection in the mirror, a bit dazed, when suddenly her phone rang. It showed a video call was incoming.

Nicole tapped on WeChat and saw the video sent by her heart specialist classmate abroad. She paused for a moment before accepting it.

”Joshua Floyd, it must be around one or two o’clock in Italy now, it’s seven here in China. Why are you sending me a video call during your lunch break?”

On the other end, Joshua Floyd’s dark hair framed his face, his lips curled into an especially sunny smile. Perhaps due to his long stay abroad, his nose had the high bridge typical of Italians, making his eyes appear exceptionally narrow, with a vibrant and clear-cut silhouette.

Joshua Floyd, her medical school classmate in Italy, who was once chased by all the girls at school.

A typical man full of sunshine and energy.

”Sister Nicole, what are you up to today, dressed so beautifully? Ah, you’re not getting married, are you?” Joshua Floyd teased from the other end.

Nicole gave a faint smile, ”Pretty much. I’m getting engaged today.”

”Congratulations, congratulations! Finally getting yourself married off! Back in the day, you were the beauty of our class, and now you’ve become someone’s wife. Alas, it seems I’m destined to be a bachelor, couldn’t win you over.”

”Don’t be cheeky,” Nicole chuckled, feeling much lighter about the banter from Joshua Floyd, ”Why is it so noisy on your side? Where are you, not at work?”

The noise on Joshua Floyd’s end was quite loud, causing Nicole to furrow her brow.

”Ah, almost forgot! Remember this bar? We came here a few times during our school days! Do you remember? The owner, Bruce Walkers, was so respectful to you back then, I almost thought this bar was owned by your family! So many years have passed, tell me honestly, is this bar yours? Why was owner Bruce so respectful to you?”

Joshua Floyd spoke while moving around, casually turning the phone’s front camera, ”You haven’t been back to Italy for two or three years, do you miss it? Let me help you revisit the youth we spent here, the foolishness we shared in this bar!”

It was Bruce’s bar—

Wade died in the alley behind this bar...

And later, Bruce was so respectful to her because every time she saw Bruce, she gave him a cold look. Her label was Jose Floyd’s woman, and Bruce thought it was because he didn’t serve her well that she became unhappy. Whenever she came to the bar with her classmates, Bruce always catered to them anxiously, and that’s why Joshua Floyd mentioned Bruce’s reverence.

Wade was working at Bruce’s bar at the time and died at the hands of Jose Floyd. She sought justice at the bar, and Bruce sent the bar manager to give her ten thousand yuan, calling it compensation for Wade.

The bar manager threw ten thousand yuan at her, instructing her not to speak out about Wade’s cause of death being a gunshot!

Her own brother was worth only ten thousand yuan!

Thus, after becoming Jose Floyd’s woman, every time she saw Bruce, she naturally loathed him. Fortunately, she only crossed paths with Bruce once, so when she deliberately applied to the bar, Bruce didn’t recognize her.

This bar could be said to be the place she most wanted to avoid facing in her life, yet during school, she would occasionally go there with Joshua Floyd and others just because she wanted to stand in the alley where Wade died, allowing herself to stay clear-headed beside Jose Floyd, so as not to gradually lose her vengeful intent due to his charm.

Nicole was lost in thought as Joshua Floyd’s camera spun around.

”See, Nicole? This bar hasn’t changed; let me use the camera to show you the alley you liked to stand in.”

Joshua Floyd said, indeed walking towards the bar’s alley.

Nicole pressed her lips together, her gaze slowly clearing as the place where Wade died became more distinct...
