Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Nicole helped the tired Ryan Seys up to his room to sleep after an afternoon out. Watching the peacefully sleeping Ryan, Nicole’s eyes softened, ”He’s truly my brother’s child, so young and yet so resilient, going all afternoon without asking to be carried. You, my little nephew, will definitely surpass your father one day.”

Nicole went downstairs and encountered a maid who was cleaning. She pursed her lips and quietly asked, ”Is there a place in this Little Fishing Village suitable for buying gifts? I went to South City’s small street today and didn’t find what I wanted.”

The maid stopped what she was doing, turned to Nicole, and replied with a smile, ”Are you planning to buy something for Young Master Floyd?... If so, I suggest going to the temple on the mountain next to South City to get a Small Purple Leaf Sandalwood bracelet. We here strongly believe in this because, living by the sea and relying on fishing, peace and safety are most important. Everyone prays for the safety of their own men.”

”Prayers for peace...” Nicole murmured softly.

In the early morning.

The sea air was particularly fresh. Jose Floyd sat at the dining table having breakfast, while the sleepy Ryan Seys came downstairs rubbing his eyes, ”Uncle, good morning.”

Jose Floyd, reading a financial magazine, didn’t lift his head or acknowledge Ryan.

Ryan didn’t care about his indifference and climbed onto the stool beside him to start eating breakfast.

”Auntie, where did my aunt go early in the morning? Why isn’t she around?”

Jose Floyd put down his magazine, and his gaze swept towards the maid, his expression silently inquiring.

The maid smiled slightly, ”Miss Seys didn’t say.”

The two of them, one big and one small, frowned slightly, ignoring each other, eating breakfast with indifferent expressions, acting like none of it mattered to them.

Nicole didn’t return all morning.

Ryan ate fruit without tasting it, while Jose Floyd looked at the magazine, unable to concentrate on a single word, both feeling irritated.

Lunch was eaten in silence, with neither man having much of an appetite, barely touching the dishes.

”Uncle Floyd, did you make my aunt so angry that she went home? So furious that she doesn’t even want her little nephew anymore.” Ryan rested his head in his hands, looking at Jose Floyd’s indifferent face.

Jose Floyd gave Ryan a chilly glance, ”Do you believe I’ll throw you into the sea right now? Let the fish eat you until there’s not even a crumb left!”

”....” Ryan didn’t retort this time, only using his eyes to express complete disdain for Jose Floyd.

Without his aunt around, there was no one to shield him, and he felt lacking in confidence when responding!

This cold and emotionless uncle seemed like the type who might actually be angry about his aunt leaving without a word, and he might indeed take it out on him by throwing him to the fish!

A wise man knows better than to fight when the odds are against him! At times like this, patience is key! Never touch the powder keg!

Time passed bit by bit, and when Nicole returned, it was already dark. Having not been home the entire day, she could clearly sense that the atmosphere in the house was off.

Cold, so cold that she felt a chill sweep over her as she entered.

The first thing she noticed was Jose Floyd’s expressionless and icy face, as if someone owed him ten million dollars, looking extremely displeased.

”Miss Seys, you’re back. The young master is already asleep.”

Nicole nodded slightly at the maid, ”I’ll go upstairs to take a shower first, I’m all sweaty.”

Nicole lowered her eyes, ignoring the person on the sofa who remained silent but emitted a frigid aura.

She hadn’t been home all day; it shouldn’t be her who provoked him, so she didn’t feel the need to endure his anger.

Nicole went upstairs, took a shower, changed her clothes, and wore those pearl earrings on her earlobes....
