Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

”In a relationship, it shouldn’t always be one person giving. You should also give your husband a little in return...”

Later Nicole pressed her lips together, pulling Ryan Seys as she turned and walked out of the 69 Accessories Shop, not exactly politely.

”What a rip-off. I know the price of that watch; I was with him when he bought it. It could buy the entire store...” Nicole murmured to Ryan Seys, unable to help but complain about the shop owner.

Looking at the tall, cold figure walking ahead, Nicole’s expression turned complicated, and she mumbled softly, ”Exchanging a luxury watch for a pair of ordinary pearl earrings, nothing wrong with that, really nothing wrong...”

Must be a hole in the brain!!

The more Nicole thought about it, the angrier she became, deliberately slowing her pace behind Jose Floyd while holding Ryan Seys’s hand.

Ryan Seys, being led by Nicole, looked up at his aunt, ”Auntie, are you feeling awkward accepting gifts from a man?”

Nicole paused, ”Jose Floyd and I are not friends. Him exchanging a luxury watch for a pair of earrings makes me feel that it’s too extravagant.”

”Not friends, then are you a couple? Auntie, were you and Uncle Floyd together?”

When Ryan Seys asked, his eyes were wide open, looking at Nicole.

Nicole’s gaze fell on the person walking ahead, becoming somewhat profound.

Looking back at Ryan Seys, she smiled gently, pretending to be nonchalant, ”You little rascal, you’re even prying into your aunt’s matters. Don’t call Uncle Floyd your uncle-in-law anymore. He has a fiancée, and if people mistakenly think your aunt is a homewrecker, I won’t carry that burden.”

”My aunt is not a homewrecker! My aunt is the most beautiful and kind person in the world!” Ryan Seys said with utmost seriousness on his face.

Nicole pressed her lips together, her expression turning somber, ”No... I’m not a kind person...”

She had once stabbed a knife into someone’s chest, how could she consider herself a kind person.

”Auntie, if you feel indebted to Uncle Floyd for this gift, you could just give him something in return, and that would settle it, why be so troubled?”

Ryan Seys’s innocent face and words took Nicole slightly by surprise.

Indeed, she had never given him anything, while he had given her numerous things over the years. Back then, it wasn’t that she hadn’t thought of giving him something; it was just that upon reflection, he lacked nothing, and the items that matched his status were limited and expensive. At that time, being by his side, all her money came from him.

If she bought something and gave it to him, it would really be like spending his own money to give him something, which made her feel awkward and embarrassed to give it.

But now—

Was giving him something to repay a favor?

Whether it’s him rescuing her and Ryan Seys, or this time him gifting her earrings with a luxury watch, Ryan Seys’s suggestion wasn’t bad.

Nicole truly wanted to give something to Jose Floyd, to return this favor, after all, considering the animosity between them, the less affection the better, so that if they ever had to confront each other, she wouldn’t be so indecisive.

However, after paying close attention throughout the way, she couldn’t find anything that really suited Jose Floyd. It’s either too trivial or not suitable for someone as cold as him. She had gone through every craft shop in the Little Fishing Village and found nothing fitting.

The wound on her back ached, and with the sky darkening, she watched as the cold figure ahead was already heading back toward the small villa. Nicole silently followed Jose Floyd with Ryan Seys in tow.

When the three returned home, the servants had already prepared the meal.

After dinner, Jose Floyd, as usual, indifferently went to the seashore by himself....
