Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

He held the wine in silence, continuing to drink, his face indifferent, but the corner of his eye kept glancing at the people on the stairs.

In a matter of seconds, he saw her swiftly approaching him. He maintained his cool, indifferent demeanor, unmoving in his noble posture, sitting on the couch as if he were a king, exalted and untouchable.

With a call of ’Miss Nicole’ from Camden standing beside him, the wine glass held between his fingers was suddenly snatched away.

He frowned, looked at her, and said nothing.

”Spending the night out and still drinking here for some thrill!” Her tone carried a trace of anger.

He looked at her, with a noble demeanor, ”Give me the glass!”

”No! Others smoke after the event, but your timing for drinking after the event is a bit late! Coming home to drink after-event wine, shouldn’t you be out there, drinking a few more glasses with those women? When you come back, you ought to pretend like you haven’t done anything wrong, like a gentleman! Bringing after-event wine home and drinking it in front of me, I won’t give it to you!”

He looked at her angry expression, her youthful and innocent face, his eyes deepened as he said in a low voice, ”You are the first to dare to snatch something from me, Nicole.”

She looked at him, ”Then you’ll have to get used to it because from now on, if I see you’ve had too much to drink, I’ll snatch it. After I snatch it, I’ll.... I’ll.....” Her face flushed with hesitation and panic.

”And then what?”

He replied lightly, but inside he felt amused, seeing her expression lifted his spirits slightly.

”Then smash it!”

As the two words fell, with a loud slap, she truly smashed the expensive bottle of wine he had opened right in front of him.

Her action stunned not only her but also him and Camden behind him.

He looked at her, his voice carrying a subtle hint of amusement, ”Seems like the docile little wildcat really got riled up today. Nicole, come here.”

When he called her, his eyes looked at her, seeing her pause for a moment, then she firmly met his gaze, ”I won’t admit I’m wrong; you going out drinking and seeking women is your mistake. Smashing things is natural! You brought me shame, letting me vent a little is no harm!”

He could no longer hold back and chuckled softly, extending his long fingers to her with a gentle tone, ”Come here.”

This time, after hesitating for a few seconds, she still walked towards him, extending her fingers into his palm.

He grasped her hand, drew her into his arms.

”What you smashed probably wasn’t just the wine; the whole living room is filled with a sour smell.” He lightly teased, his voice hugely more gentle than usual.

Camden couldn’t help but laugh from behind.

”Camden, you can head down.” He dismissed Camden, that third wheel.

Just the two of them in the vast living room, he held her in his arms, inhaling the fragrance from her flowing hair.

”Can you smell it? There’s no perfume scent on me, I didn’t go drinking with women, just had some drinks with Jude Charington.” For the first time, he patiently offered an explanation to someone else, and it was a woman!

She sat on his lap, gazing at him, her expression serious and unrepentant, stubbornly arguing, ”The wine is already smashed. You may not have the scent of perfume, but you definitely smell strongly of alcohol! You must have drunk a lot! From now on, if you drink too much, I’ll smash things, unless I don’t catch you drinking, otherwise I’ll keep an eye on you forever.”

He listened to her earnest expression, his mood lifted, softly laughing, ”Alright, you can smash things, but now, Miss Nicole, has your anger passed?”

”Mm, it’s gone.” She looked at the wine bottle fragments on the ground, hesitated for a while, pursed her lips, and asked hesitantly, ”Tell me, how much did I smash?”
