Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Her gaze went a little hazy, and the burning in her body made the fingers of her other hand, the one holding the teacup, snap as she slammed the cup down on the coffee table.

Finally feeling that something was wrong with her body, Nicole’s eyes shot straight at the man sitting there like some noble emperor. She gritted her teeth and rasped, ”You set me up!”

Jose Floyd looked back into Nicole’s clear, chilly eyes, his expression calm and indifferent. ”I didn’t do anything.”

He was telling the truth. He really hadn’t done anything, just had her drink the white fungus soup.....

”You’re despicable! If you’ve got the guts to do it, have the guts to admit it! Jose Floyd, I didn’t think you’d stoop to this kind of trick!” Nicole gripped the teacup, her gaze locked on Jose Floyd, her fingertips trembling slightly.

Faced with Nicole’s fierce reaction, Jose Floyd casually reached out, took the cup from her hand, poured himself some tea, and unhurriedly lifted it to his lips to taste.

When he took the cup, his fingertips brushed hers, whether on purpose or not. His fingers were icy, and that touch formed a stark contrast with the fire raging inside her. That coolness made her feverish body want to lean closer in spite of itself.

Son of a bitch really knows how to flirt!!

Especially at a time like this when she absolutely cannot handle being teased!!

Nicole gritted her teeth and shot a glare at the cloudless, detached, high-and-mighty Jose Floyd, and in her heart she cursed him ten million times over!

She stood up and quickly headed toward the bathroom. She turned on the shower, switched it to cold, and let it pour straight down on her head.

The heat inside her grew more and more uncontrollable, and her reason slowly got lost in the rapidly climbing temperature....

”To hell with it! Better this than burning to death!”

The uncontrollable heat left Nicole in despair. With a bang, she flung the showerhead against the wall like a punctured balloon venting her rage, letting out the fury in her chest!

She lifted her leg and started toward the door.

She had just turned around when she saw the man standing in the doorway watching the show, and the anger in her chest flared even higher.

As she brushed past a certain man, planning to walk by, her wrist was suddenly seized.

A wave of icy cold spread from her wrist, and her burning body and fading reason disintegrated even faster...

”Let go!” she snapped coldly, struggling.

He drugged her, a beast in human skin, total scum!

”You really don’t need help?” he asked, looking at her in profile, his tone a little light.

”Save your schadenfreude!” She shot him a cold sidelong glance, full of contempt.

Jose Floyd took a long look at her flushed cheeks, then swept his gaze over her from head to toe. His voice was low and hoarse. ”You’re sure you want to go out like that?”

Nicole lowered her head and followed his malicious gaze down to look at herself.

Because she’d just been standing under the shower dousing herself with cold water, her whole outfit was soaked through. Clothes that hadn’t been see-through now traced out every curve, faintly visible and extremely suggestive.

”Jose Floyd, you’re fucking shameless!” Nicole snapped, furious, and yanked her wrist free from his grip.

Clinging to the last shred of her reason, she snatched up Jose Floyd’s suit jacket from the sofa and threw it over herself, then lifted her leg and strode toward the door.

”And how exactly are you planning to fix this?” Jose Floyd folded his arms, looking utterly nonchalant, very much enjoying the show.

”If there’s one thing the street isn’t short on, it’s men with two legs! Worst case, I’ll pay for a gigolo!” Her chestnut curls were a little messy and damp, and from the back you could see her body trembling slightly.

Find a man, hire a gigolo——

A chill flashed through Jose Floyd’s eyes. He strode forward and grabbed her wrist, stopping her in her tracks.

Right when her body was at its hottest, someone dared to provoke her. That burning finally found a volcano to erupt from, and with a bang, it exploded.

She raised her hand, and Nicole whipped around, swinging hard at the man blocking her way——
