Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Jose Floyd stormed out.

Nicole took a shower, changed clothes, and went downstairs. Her body was sore, and to avoid drawing attention, she walked slowly, striving to maintain composure and calm.

As she headed downstairs, Olivia Summer was discussing something with Andrea Greenwood, who looked slightly uncomfortable. Upon seeing her, their eyes fell on her with intensity.

”Auntie, Andrea, good morning.” Nicole greeted them calmly.

Olivia looked at Nicole coming down, frowned slightly, returned a smile, but remained silent.

Breakfast was eaten quietly; the three of them didn’t speak, even Olivia and Andrea, usually close like mother and daughter, were silent.

After finishing breakfast, Nicole said goodbye to Olivia, used a mobile app to call a taxi. As the taxi pulled away from the Manor Estate, a black sedan parked outside quietly started moving, following her.

Nicole took the taxi to a pharmacy, bought a bottle of morning-after pills and put it in her purse, then got back into the taxi, heading back toward the Manor Estate.

The black sedan following her opened its door, Jose Floyd got out, cold eyes watching the departing taxi, and walked into the pharmacy.

”The woman who just left, did she buy birth control pills?” Jose Floyd asked the cashier in a cold voice.

”Yes, sir.”

Jose Floyd took out his wallet, casually threw a stack of cash onto the counter, his voice icy, ”Give me vitamins that look like birth control pills!”

The cashier had never seen such an extravagant and strange person before; a stack of cash for a box of vitamins! Not daring to offend the cold-faced wealthy man in front of her, the cashier immediately nodded, found vitamins identical to the birth control pills for the wealthy customer.

Jose Floyd took the vitamins and left the pharmacy coldly, heading towards the Manor Estate.

Nicole returned to the Manor Estate, poured a glass of water, and was about to put two morning-after pills in her mouth when...

”Nicole, what are you doing?”

Olivia Summer’s voice suddenly rang out, startling the already tense Nicole, causing the white pills on her fingertip to fall to the ground.

Olivia lowered her gaze, looked at the fallen pills, her eyes flickered slightly, then looked up at Nicole with a gentle smile, ”Nicole, what medicine are you taking? Did you catch a cold?”

Nicole’s body stiffened. She remembered how Olivia had prepared a nourishing soup for Jose Floyd last night, which resulted in her being tormented all night, making her feel guilty, her face also showed unease. Nicole uttered, ”Cold medicine...”

”If you caught a cold, you should rest well. Taking medicine will help you recover faster. After taking the medicine, go upstairs and rest.” Olivia’s voice seemed unusually indifferent, unlike the gentle tone from a few days ago.

Nicole nodded, poured a glass of water, glanced at the pills on the ground awkwardly, squatted down and threw them into the trash can, ”Auntie, I’ll go upstairs and rest. If you need anything, just call me.”

”Alright.”

Nicole smiled faintly and turned to go upstairs.

Her figure disappeared at the staircase landing, Olivia’s gaze finally shifted, she looked at the pills Nicole had thrown away in the trash can and picked them up...

After Nicole went upstairs, encountering Olivia when trying to take medicine, she was so frightened that her palms were cold and sweaty. Sitting in her room for a long time, it took her a while to calm her anxious and fearful emotions.

Nicole picked up her water cup, about to take the morning-after pills from her bag when the door suddenly swung open, and Jose Floyd with a frosty expression leaned in.

Nicole looked at Jose Floyd and discreetly put the morning-after pills back into her bag, her face maintaining calm and composure.

Recalling their argument that morning, Nicole was reluctant to see Jose Floyd. Without even glancing at him, she headed straight for the bathroom.
