Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Olivia Summer smiled while looking at Andrea Greenwood and her own son, ”Jose, I suggested we start eating, but Andrea insisted on waiting for you. You have such a gentle, considerate fiancée who cares for you. You should cherish her.”

Jose Floyd went straight to the seat next to Nicole and sat down, his expression cold and unruffled.

Olivia Summer’s face changed slightly, but she quickly regained her composure and smiled faintly at Jose Floyd, ”Jose, this soup was specially prepared for you by Mom. I also asked Nicole, and she said this medicinal soup is very effective and beneficial for your health. You should drink more.”

Olivia Summer served a bowl of soup and handed it to Jose Floyd, her eyes looking deeply at Nicole, ”Right, Nicole? This medicinal soup is good for Jose, isn’t it?”

Nicole’s gaze fell into the bowl of medicinal soup, and she softly agreed.

What did Olivia Summer preparing this tonic soup for Jose Floyd have to do with her? It wasn’t she who prescribed it, so why was it being pinned on her?

Jose Floyd took the soup and glanced at Nicole, seeing her lower her head to eat with a soft light in his eyes.

He didn’t expect that she would prescribe this soup for him. She had never cared for him before; this counted as the first time...

Jose Floyd held the medicinal soup, maintaining a cold expression, but drank every last drop from the bowl.

Seeing him finish, Olivia Summer quickly helped Jose Floyd serve another bowl.

Nicole pursed her lips, her gaze catching Jose Floyd drinking the soup again, finding it somewhat amusing.

Olivia Summer was so eager, making Jose Floyd drink so much tonic soup at once, without considering the potential side effects.

Or whether Andrea Greenwood could withstand it. It was as if she was desperate for a grandchild...

Over a meal, Jose Floyd drank the tonic soup Olivia Summer had carefully prepared, Andrea Greenwood ate the fertility-boosting dishes Nicole had recommended, and Olivia Summer cheerfully watched them eat while Nicole leisurely picked out her favorite dishes.

After dinner, Nicole took a shower, changed into pajamas, and got into bed. She chatted with her classmate, a heart research specialist, on WeChat, learning more about cardiac issues.

As she was about to exit WeChat and go to sleep, the sliding door in the wall was suddenly pushed open. Jose Floyd came in, pulling his tie, his face flushed unnaturally.

”What kind of medicinal soup did you prepare for me?” Jose Floyd asked coldly, quickly approaching Nicole.

Earlier while dealing with work matters, a surge of heat swept over him uncontrollably. The heat was strange, and as he forced himself to suppress it, Nicole’s image crossed his mind unintentionally, intensifying the heat.

It felt like... he had been drugged!

He just recalled that the bowl of medicinal soup was absolutely not normal! He was the only one who drank it; no one else touched that soup!

Seeing Jose Floyd’s abnormal expression, Nicole knew the tonic soup had taken effect. Watching Jose Floyd approach, she immediately shrank back against the headboard, her voice somewhat unnatural as she quickly replied, ”I didn’t prepare it for you! It was your mom who prepared it! It’s a tonic!”

”What kind of tonic?!” Jose Floyd glared at Nicole from the bedside, a dangerous gleam in his eyes.

”It’s... you should ask your mom!” Nicole turned to get out of bed, intending to escape.

These matters had nothing to do with her as an outsider. She didn’t want to get caught in the crossfire!

As Nicole moved, Jose Floyd’s eyes carried a chill, paired with his slightly flushed cheeks, which gave Nicole a shiver.

”Jose Floyd, I’m telling you... it wasn’t me. Don’t look at me like that. You drank the soup, and your mom prepared the medicinal soup; it’s got nothing to do with me. Let’s be reasonable.”
