Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

His voice was light and gentle, yet ten times softer than in front of others, ”Help me undress.”

This situation had become all too familiar. She had been his woman for several years now, efficiently helping him remove his clothes without any hesitation or shyness, her gaze calm and composed.

Jose Floyd entered the bathroom to take a shower.

Her expression instantly turned cold as she went to make him a cup of sobering tea. When she looked at the pillow, her fingertips were cold and stiff.

”Come in, help me shower.” The voice of that aloof and imperious man commanded from the bathroom, with a majestic aura.

”Okay.” She lowered her gaze slightly, placed the sobering tea on the coffee table, and headed toward the bedroom.

Soon, she would be able to exact her revenge—

Soon, she would be able to take down her enemy—

Soon, she would be free, no longer having to stay by his side.....

She walked into the bathroom, approaching the person standing under the shower.

His demeanor was as cold as ever. As he looked down at her helping him wash, he let out a low, hoarse laugh and said, ”Your endurance is truly first-rate, just helping me shower without any hint of disturbance.”

She looked up at him, the two standing in close proximity, ”Jose, weren’t you the one who said shower? Should there be any other intentions during a shower?”

”I haven’t quite trained you properly yet.”

His eyes lowered, a brilliant gleam within them, in an instant rendering the world’s colors bleak. It made her lose her focus.

”Jose, I’ve been by your side for a long time, haven’t I?” she asked.

He nodded, ”Yes, it’s been quite a while. Why, thinking of leaving?” His voice suddenly lowered, a menacing atmosphere spreading in the bathroom.

”No, no..... How could I?” She quickly shook her head in denial, purposely calming her thoughts, and replied, ”I’m just asking, it feels like I’ve been with you forever, like a lifetime ago.”

As soon as she finished speaking, her chin was gently lifted, ”You can reminisce about your past, but any thoughts of leaving, let them die in the bud. In this life, never expect me to let you go! If I find out you want to leave... Nicole, you know what I’m capable of!”

”I know.” She lowered her eyes, her voice softly arguing, ”I never thought of leaving, I was just chatting with you. Your reaction startled me, had I known, I wouldn’t have talked to you, to avoid offending you inexplicably and getting punished for it.”

Her tone was gentle, with a touch of playful coyness, as she turned her head away, acting petulant.

Jose Floyd’s long fingers lifted her chin, his gaze deep and intense, ”Nicole, I can tolerate all your whims, but saying you want to leave is something I never want to hear again. Even thinking about it is forbidden! You can only leave over my dead body!”

Him dead—

His words caused an inexplicable tremor in her heart.

Afraid he’d notice something amiss, she immediately smiled lightly, her fingertips gently tapping his chest, ”Don’t talk as if you’re deeply hurt by me, it’s because I have no small whims that you say you can tolerate it now. If I gave you a few whims a day, you’d abandon me faster than anyone else. Jose, I don’t believe you’ve never thought of discarding me.”

”Never.” He replied emphatically.

Her gaze suddenly fixed on him, looking deep into his eyes, but the earnest sincerity there made her heart flutter anxiously.

She lowered her gaze, helping him wash his body, thinking of the knife beneath the pillow, the chill in her fingertips gradually intensifying.

She meticulously washed his hair and body, then helped him into his bathrobe.

”Jose, I’ve prepared the sobering tea, I’ll go change my clothes first, my nightgown’s wet, go drink the tea.”

She turned to leave but was suddenly seized by the wrist!

”Jose?” She looked back at him, puzzled and confused.

The response was him pulling her into his embrace, dominantly!

”Jose.” Her breath was a bit chaotic, her words unintentionally tinged with a hint of a shy woman’s bashfulness.

Seizing this momentary pause, she retained a modicum of reason.

Her hands gently pushed against the person on top of her, her voice soft as water, ”Jose, go drink the sobering tea, or your head will hurt later.”

Whether intentional or accidental, concern for him unwittingly crept into her words, her gaze momentarily dreamy and dazed.

Jose Floyd stood up, murmuring an agreement, walked over, and drank the sobering tea from the coffee table in one gulp.

Meanwhile, she on the bed gazed at the ceiling, her fingers instinctively reaching under the pillow, recoiling in fear when they touched what lay beneath....

The icy feel caused her entire body to tense, a suffocating sensation surging forth...

It was then——

Her body was pinned down again, the sense of being forced overwhelming her.

”You were lost in thought, what were you thinking?” the person above her asked.

She chuckled, ”Why so suspicious? I wasn’t thinking about anything, just wondering when you’ll give me a vacation, let me go see the scenery.”

The person on top cast a deep, profound gaze on her, ”Nicole, you’re smart. You’re acting rather strange tonight, let me say it one last time, don’t think of leaving, especially don’t think of finding another man outside. What I’ve touched, no one else can even dream of touching, understand?”

”With you like this, how could I dare find another man, wouldn’t you kill me?” She cast him a playful glance, masking her true emotions.

”Good that you know.” he said blandly.

.....

Jose Floyd fell asleep beside her again.

Even in slumber, his expression remained tense.

So cold, exuding an aura of chill from inside out, ceaselessly.

This must be the hallmark of a cold and heartless person.

From deep within her gaze, a cold intent slowly emerged.

His features reflected in her eyes, her mind echoed with Wade’s weak and powerless voice before he died. She looked at the man asleep beside her, her fingers clutching tightly in her palm.

....

A long time passed.

Her eyes reopened, now filled with hatred and coldness.

Her slender fingers slowly reached under the pillow, grasping the short knife.

With a cold glint in her brow, the short knife was now in her grasp.

He had nothing on him, the robe he had discarded on the floor earlier. She held the knife, the blade aimed at his heart.

He had provided for her education, and she eventually chose to study medicine, possessing a thorough understanding of human anatomy.

She knew exactly where the most lethal spot of the heart was....

But at the moment of striking with the knife, she looked at his austere face and hesitated instinctively...

Five years—

Countless springs, summers, autumns, and winters—

To say there was no emotion at all, she couldn’t even lie to herself....

Perhaps her killing intent and resentment were too overwhelming, the sleeper suddenly opened his eyes slightly.....

Once, twice, harsher each time, as if domineeringly proclaiming she was his possession, unable to leave, and forbidden to dream of leaving.

Who knows how long it lasted, finally stopping, he fell asleep beside her.

Even asleep, his expression remained taut.

So cold, exuding an aura of chill from inside out, endlessly.

This must be the hallmark of a cold and heartless person.
