Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

The nurse smiled and replied, ”Mother and son are both safe and sound. We need to suture Mrs. Sutherland’s tears and disinfect them, so Mr. Sutherland will probably have to wait another hour before seeing his wife and child.”

”Okay.” Dawn Sutherland chuckled foolishly.

Just hearing ’mother and son safe and sound’ was his biggest wish.

”Congratulations, Brother Dawn! Daisy has sacrificed so much for you, and you’ve missed so many years together. Finally, your hard times are over. Brother Dawn, your son with Daisy must look amazing. He might even be Scenic Hill High School’s top heartthrob one day!” Ariel Morris laughed teasingly.

”Mother and son safe and sound, Ariel, did you hear that? This phrase finally put my heart at ease; I’ve been anxious all day.” Dawn chuckled, holding a small note.

The note contained information about the mother, and Dawn smiled when he saw that Daisy Grant had given birth to a six-pound, eight-ounce baby boy.

Now he had two people to protect: his wife and his son. They were the most precious treasures and the most important things in his life.

—

It was an hour and a half later when Daisy Grant was transferred to the ward.

In the ward, at the bedside.

Dawn Sutherland held Daisy Grant’s hand, his eyes slightly reddened, ”Daisy, thank you for your hard work.”

The baby lay in the crib by the hospital bed. Daisy Grant took a deep look at him, her eyes soft, ”Brother, I’m fine. It didn’t hurt at all.”

Dawn looked at her pale face with heartache, his throat moved a bit, and when he spoke again, his voice was a little hoarse: ”Well, Daisy is the strongest. You don’t feel pain, but I’m scared. We won’t have any more children; one baby is enough, no more.”

He held Daisy Grant’s hand, still trembling with fear.

Daisy Grant felt warmth in her heart and smiled gently, ”As long as the hardships are over, what’s a little pain? I also want, like Ariel, to have one of each, a son and a daughter. How happy that would be.”

Dawn shook his head, ”It’s not needed; we’ll just have one. Our son will marry a daughter-in-law, and we’ll treat her as a daughter, that’s enough.”

The anxiety and fear experienced at the delivery room door, he couldn’t bear to go through it again.

To him, she was the priority and his final choice; nothing compared to her.

One painful experience was enough, enough for a lifetime of heartache.

Daisy Grant smiled gently, ”Brother, has the baby’s name been decided?”

Dawn picked up the baby, who was opening his eyes in the crib, slightly trembling as he looked at Daisy Grant, smiling gently: ”Let’s name him Finley Sutherland. You are the most beautiful scene in my life, and the child is the best gift you’ve given me. For you and the child, I will cherish and love you both, spend a lifetime protecting you from the harsh winds and rains.”

”Yes, yes, it’s a great name!” Ariel Morris laughed and said, ”Brother Dawn, when you were young, you and Arlo were paired up as a couple by the Scenic Hill High School people, but I stepped in and disrupted the rumor. Your son and my son are only a few months apart; they will definitely be in the same class in the future, and Scenic Hill’s two youngsters, Ryan Seys and Finley Sutherland, might become best buddies! Tsk tsk, sure to be pursued by many fangirls!”

Dawn glanced at Ariel Morris and laughed, ”I’m not aiming for Ryan; how about you send your little girl Iris Seys to be my daughter-in-law? Let’s make a childhood sweetheart pair, how about it, Ariel?”

Before Ariel Morris could reply, a voice rose loudly from the newcomer: ”Boss Seys, someone is eyeing your Little Princess!”

Dawn Sutherland and Ariel Morris turned to see Nico Haynes, the loudmouth, striding in, followed by Arlo Seys, wearing a faint smile.
