Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

”Then what?” Dawn Sutherland’s voice trembled.

”Then—” The security guard recalled the events of the party that night, his eyes distant, ”I wanted to take Miss Grant to the hospital, but she smeared the pink marks on her neck with the blood on her forehead, then deliberately placed her hair over her chest to cover those faint marks, turned around, supporting herself on the staircase railing, and went upstairs step by step with difficulty.”

”Miss Grant refused my suggestion to take her to the hospital, telling me to return to my post and not to worry about her. But at that time, I saw Miss Grant’s leg was quite seriously injured; with every stair she climbed, her brows furrowed deeply, her face turned pale, and sweat beaded on her forehead...”

The security guard’s words fell into Dawn Sutherland’s ears one by one, like sharp blades slicing through his heart, causing an unbearable pain.

”Miss Grant stubbornly returned upstairs; I didn’t say much and returned to the surveillance room. From the surveillance, I saw that upstairs, in your room, Young Master Sutherland, another lady entered... She had just gone in when a group of people suddenly rushed to your floor and stood outside your room.”

Nico Haynes remained silent for a moment, looking at the security guard: ”So, you’re saying Daisy Grant went into the room first, followed by Evalian Chapman?”

The security guard nodded, ”Miss Grant was the first to enter Young Master Sutherland’s room, and she stayed inside for quite a while. The next lady stayed inside for about ten minutes. Then I saw Young Master Jimenez, Young Master Seys, and some party guests all went upstairs and surrounded Young Master Sutherland’s room.”

Nico Haynes spoke heavily, ”About ten minutes, so it can’t be Evalian Chapman who was with Aidan. That only leaves...”

Nico Haynes’ meaning was clear.

Dawn Sutherland didn’t know what words to use to describe his current feelings. Happiness, excitement, guilt, disbelief, self-blame, and annoyance—a complex mix of emotions that tormented him.

Dawn Sutherland glanced at the security guard, ”So, you used the surveillance footage from that night to blackmail her for twenty thousand, right?”

”Young Master Sutherland, I was momentarily confused and went to negotiate with Miss Grant! Please forgive me, Young Master Sutherland! I won’t dare do it again!” The security guard pleaded.

Dawn Sutherland looked coldly at the security guard, ”So Aidan Sutherland from the Sutherland Family contacted you, also asked for the surveillance footage? And your footage actually has backups, right?!”

The security guard trembled at Dawn Sutherland’s icy demeanor, his voice filled with fear, ”I’m sorry... Young Master Sutherland...”

Dawn Sutherland glared coldly at the security guard, ”Considering you confessed everything today, I’m taking that twenty thousand as your fee. Get out! Don’t let me see you again!”

The security guard quickly turned and hurried away, shivering, heading outside, ”Thank you, Young Master Sutherland, thank you for letting it go!”

The security guard’s figure quickly vanished outside the Haynes Family’s door, fearing Dawn Sutherland might change his mind and settle scores with him.

Dawn Sutherland’s gaze was slightly red, his voice choked with emotion as he muttered to himself, ”How could it be... Aunt Grant once said she wrote a letter to the boy she liked, but I never received her letter. We all know she slept with the man she liked and had a child. But now... now everything seems to indicate that I am that man.”

Nico Haynes sighed, ”I used to think Beauty Grant was fortunate to have your love for so many years. Today, I realized you are the luckiest one, having a Beauty Grant who loves you so deeply, who has borne the shame for you without ever complaining.”

”Do you understand my complex feelings now, old friend?” Dawn Sutherland bitterly smiled, his mouth filled with bitterness, heartache, and fear...
