Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 681: Chapter 681 Guarding Her Within Her Reach

”If you want to keep this child, then you can’t use medication, can’t undergo treatment. Maybe Mrs. Seys can hold on until the child is born, or maybe she can’t. Mr. Seys, please make your own decision. Our hospital recommends immediate surgery.”

After speaking, the doctor nodded slightly to the two and left the ward.

Arlo Seys walked to the bedside, placing his hands gently on Ariel Morris’s forehead, his voice hoarse and heavy, ”Do you know, you’ve given me the hardest decision to make.”

Jorge Saxton’s eyes reddened as he looked at Arlo Seys and asked in a deep voice, ”Arlo, Ariel loves to laugh so much; her eyes curve with her smile, her whole face lights up. If... if she goes blind, I can’t imagine how devastating that would be for her.”

Arlo Seys’s fingers, a bit cold, lingered over Ariel Morris’s brow and eyes, his gaze deepening, ”I’ll be her crutch for life, be her eyes.”

Jorge Saxton paused, shaking his head, ”You may not realize it, but your high and mighty status as the Seys Family Crown Prince is a heavy psychological burden for Ariel. Right now, Ariel can stand by your side without hesitation because she lacks nothing. But if she loses her sight and her days are numbered, how do you expect her to face someone like you? Your excellence and strength exert an invisible pressure on her. In other words, if you were blind or disabled, could you, without any mental burden, feel worthy of Ariel?”

Arlo Seys turned to look at Jorge Saxton, his eyes filled with firm conviction, ”I’ve already thought this through, Jorge. I want you to help me set up a ruse.”

”What kind of ruse?” Jorge Saxton frowned.

”In our youth, she was the one giving, chasing me, and this time, I’ll silently accompany and protect her as my longest confession of love.” Arlo Seys looked at Jorge Saxton, his voice low, ”If I can’t love her as her husband, then I’ll find another way. It’s not only the identity of Arlo Seys that can love her. As long as I’m still alive, my heart still beating, Ariel Morris is engraved on my soul, unforgettable and irreplaceable.”

”What do you want me to do?”

”Use her belief that I don’t know she’s pregnant to set up a layered ruse! For the child and for her, I’ll always be there, unwavering. No matter the storm, I’ll always be by her side. Jorge, I need you to help me with this...”

Hearing Arlo Seys’s words, Jorge Saxton, lost in thought, asked uncertainly, ”Are you really willing to do this for Ariel?”

Arlo Seys nodded, his gaze deepening as he looked at the person on the bed, ”Yes, I’m willing. We once tried so hard to love each other, thinking it would be good for each other, only to create a series of misunderstandings and separations. Our love was too profound. This time, if she chooses to let go for my sake, at least I’m willing to guard her when she loses sight, always within her reach.”

”Choosing you was the best decision Ariel ever made,” Jorge Saxton said in a low voice, then left the ward with a heavy heart.

Jorge Saxton left, and Arlo Seys walked to the bedside, gently stroking Ariel Morris’s pale cheek, his voice slightly hoarse, ”If you’re going to gamble, we’re in it for the long haul. Don’t be afraid, I’ll always be here. Behind where you can’t see, within your reach, I’ll always be with you. No matter how difficult or dark the road ahead, I will always be here.”

”The lost eight years are the greatest regret of my life. Let’s not repeat it; we have only decades left in this lifetime. Every minute and every second, we need to be together and cherish the time.”

As Arlo Seys spoke, his fingers caressed Ariel Morris’s abdomen, through the quilt, his gaze becoming extremely gentle.
