Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

After sending Leng Qingqiu back to the Leng Family Manor, Lu Yu drove directly back to his residential area.

Along the way, Lu Yu and Leng Qingqiu only engaged in simple small talk, without much further conversation.

For some reason, when faced with Leng Qingqiu, who had haunted his dreams five years ago, Lu Yu felt a sense of being at a loss.

This feeling was incredible even to him.

However, when it came to the reason, not even Lu Yu could explain it.

Perhaps after experiencing the ups and downs of life, one becomes less obsessed with certain things, and for this panicked feeling, Lu Yu didn’t know the source, so all he could do was take it one step at a time.

When he got to his door, Lu Yu took out his key, intending to insert it into the lock to enter the house.

However, just the instant before inserting the key, his eyes narrowed, his arm tensed, and he stopped immediately, squinting as a flash of sharpness crossed his eyes.

The reason Lu Yu had such a reaction was because he found some slight scratches on the keyhole of his door.

These scratches were very faint but very fresh, just on the edge of the keyhole. Coupled with lighting issues, they could easily be overlooked; unless inspected closely, they wouldn’t be noticed.

Such marks might be ignored by most, but Lu Yu spotted them at a glance.

This mark was left from a technical lockpicking attempt.

Given his busy schedule, he rarely returned, and now that he found technical lockpicking marks on the lock upon coming back, it instantly put Lu Yu on edge.

He knew that he’s merely renting this place and was the sole occupant. Although the landlord, Meng Yue, occasionally visits, she always uses a key and never resorts to lockpicking.

So, these marks clearly weren’t left by Meng Yue.

If not Meng Yue, then who would use such means to enter his residence?

To find out, he’d have to go inside to draw any conclusions.

With that in mind, Lu Yu’s eyes narrowed, and then he used the key to open the door and stepped right inside.

Now, he intended to see what the situation inside was like.

His door was just a regular security door, easily bypassed with technical lockpicking, so Lu Yu was certain that someone had been in his room.

Once inside, Lu Yu saw that his room was dimly lit and appeared gloomy at first glance.

Seeing this, Lu Yu switched on the main light, and the whole room was instantly illuminated before his eyes.

In front of him, his residence was exceptionally tidy, everything was in order, with nothing apparently out of place.

Seeing this, Lu Yu didn’t bother to check whether things had been moved, since he knew it would be futile.

He then crouched down, gently swept his hand across the floor, and a smile appeared on his face.

”An expert, their attention to detail is excellent,”

Sweeping his hand across the floor, Lu Yu calmly said, ”Everything is back in place, very meticulous technique, impressive!”

At this moment, Lu Yu sighed with admiration and then shook his head, saying, ”Unfortunately, they did too well; even wiping the floor once was their biggest mistake!”

With Lu Yu having been away, the room should logically have accumulated some dust over that time.

Yet after his swipe across the floor, his fingers bore no dust. This one detail rendered all their efforts to conceal themselves wasted.

”Who on earth has been in my residence?”

Gazing at the room, Lu Yu wondered, puzzled over who had come to his place this time.

By now, all his enemies should have surfaced, so who would have slipped into his room this quietly?

At this point, Lu Yu felt a twinge of confusion, for until now, his greatest enemy was the Shadow Luo Organization, who he thought were above such petty stealth.

If that was the case, then who entered his room?

With this thought, Lu Yu scanned the room, his eyes growing stern.

Knowing he worked at Victory Group, with an irregular schedule, someone entering his room must have been familiar with his habits.

”Right!”

Realizing this, Lu Yu hesitated for a moment as if recalling something, and said, ”The computer records!”

Since they’d slipped into his residence quietly, they surely wouldn’t ignore his computer data!

Using the computer leaves a record that’s hard to completely erase, implying that the intruder’s activity could still be detectable.

With that in mind, Lu Yu headed to his computer, turning it on.

After booting it up, the screen showed his usual desktop, nothing amiss at first glance.

Seeing this, Lu Yu first checked the browsing history, but as expected, it was blank.

The logs during his absence were empty, as if the computer hadn’t been started after he left.

Seeing this, Lu Yu appeared unfazed; deleting such records was easy, something even a schoolchild could do without leaving traces.

What Lu Yu needed now was to dig out the more resistant records!

With this resolve, Lu Yu didn’t hesitate; his fingers danced over the keyboard with speed and precision.
