Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s words, full of threats, Heaton was at a loss, frozen where he stood.

At this moment, he wanted to say something, but nothing came out.

Within twenty-four hours, make public the relationship between the European Federal Authority and the Shadow Luo Organization—this was an unimaginable demand for Heaton.

Bear in mind, the Shadow Luo Organization was nurtured by the European Federal Authority itself, and once it was exposed by Lu Yu, the consequences would be unimaginable!

So, upon hearing Lu Yu’s words, Heaton was at a loss, frozen where he stood.

Right now, Heaton had no doubts about Lu Yu’s capabilities.

After all, as a high-ranking figure in the Assassin Alliance, disseminating this news within twenty-four hours was indeed not an impossible task for Lu Yu.

Information about the Shadow Luo Organization is absolutely the highest secret of the European Federal Authority.

This information wasn’t classified after the Shadow Luo Organization parted ways with the European Federal Authority; it was highly confidential from the very beginning of their collaboration!

Back then, the reason the European Federal Authority established the Shadow Luo Organization was not only to research that biological battle armor but also a wealth of biotechnology!

Such technology could make the human body formidable.

And precisely because of this biotechnology, the European Federal Authority supported every aspect of the Shadow Luo Organization.

It is for this reason that the information about the Shadow Luo Organization became the highest secret of the European Federal Authority. If Heaton now hands over this information, the plan from back then would be immediately exposed.

In the past, Heaton would have flatly refused without hesitation, but now, Heaton hesitated.

Because the condition Lu Yu put forth was too terrifying.

Once Lu Yu revealed the collaboration between the Shadow Luo Organization and the European Federal Authority, the decades of credibility built by the European authorities would disappear in an instant.

Moreover, at that time, troubles would come one after another!

It would be a terrifying scenario!

In an instant, Heaton found himself in a dilemma, facing an extremely difficult decision.

On one hand, there’s the credibility of the European Federation, and on the other, the highest secret of the European Federal Authority, leaving Heaton unsure of what to do!

”Colonel Heaton.”

Just as Heaton was unsure of what to do, Lu Yu smirked coldly, then said, ”Let me give you some advice: choose the lesser of two evils.”

”Is it more serious for the highest secrets to be leaked, or for the Federal Authority to lose credibility? Even a child could distinguish which is worse; I suppose I don’t need to explain further, do I?”

As he spoke, Lu Yu fixed his gaze on Heaton, his words filled with amusement.

Upon hearing this, Heaton’s body stiffened; he looked at Lu Yu, his eyes revealing a trace of gloom.

If the highest secrets leaked, it would only lead to the plan’s collapse or failure. But if credibility is lost, the impact on the entire European Federal Authority would be fatal!

Once credibility is gone, the consequences would be unimaginable—this, Heaton was painfully aware of!

Yet despite understanding, Heaton was still reluctant to hand over the highest secrets casually.

Because the information involved so many things.

”Colonel Heaton.”

As though seeing through Heaton’s thoughts, Lu Yu smiled slightly. He looked at Heaton and then said, ”You’re a smart man, so I know you’ve already made up your mind.”

Then, Lu Yu’s voice carried a playful tone: ”To borrow from what you just said, ’A wise man chooses his battles’—at this point, I assume I don’t need to go on, do I?”

Lu Yu’s voice was low, with a hint of a smile.

His words made Heaton’s body tremble slightly; after struggling internally for a long time, he looked at Lu Yu, gritted his teeth, and then spoke: ”Within twenty-four hours, you’ll see what you want!”

”Twenty-four hours?”

Hearing Heaton’s words, Lu Yu laughed, his face full of amusement, shaking his head slightly, then looking at Heaton and speaking, ”Do you take me for a child?”

While speaking, Lu Yu’s eyes glittered, calmly saying, ”With the capabilities of your European Federal Authority, even if organizing information were involved, it shouldn’t take more than twelve hours—saying twenty-four hours sounds a bit long, doesn’t it?”

Buzz!

The moment Lu Yu spoke, Heaton’s body stiffened, his eyes showing disbelief as he looked at Lu Yu.

He never imagined that even his last little tactic would be seen through by Lu Yu!

According to Heaton’s plan, he would use the extra twelve hours to erase all information about human modifications, leaving only the data on the Shadow Luo Organization for Lu Yu.

Yet now, Heaton absolutely did not expect Lu Yu to see through his intentions instantly.

”This...”

For a moment, Heaton didn’t know how to respond to Lu Yu’s words.

”Eight hours.”

Seeing Heaton’s troubled expression, Lu Yu calmly said, ”You have only eight hours. If I don’t get the information I want in eight hours, it’ll be plastered over every news media in Europe about your European Federal self-help Shadow Luo Organization.”

At this point, Lu Yu raised his eyes, looked straight at Heaton, and said, ”This condition isn’t considered excessive, is it?”

While speaking, Lu Yu’s gaze was sharp, almost like a blade, sending chills down Heaton’s spine!

The presence of Lu Yu, gave Heaton an incredibly awkward feeling; to him now, Lu Yu was nothing less than Belmont III!

”Colonel Heaton.”

Seeing Heaton’s dazed appearance, Lu Yu’s voice rose slightly, and he spoke, ”My demands are not excessive, right?”

While speaking, Lu Yu’s eyes displayed a mix of mischief.

”Not excessive.”

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s words, Heaton replied, ”I’ll get right on handling this matter.”

”Very good.”

Hearing Heaton’s words, Lu Yu nodded and then said, ”Well then, I shall look forward to the information you send me eight hours from now.”

While speaking, Lu Yu’s eyes were full of amusement.

”No problem!”

Heaton nodded and, with his men who had lost their right eyes, sheepishly left directly.
