Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

Late at night, Lu Yu was sleeping, his chest rising and falling evenly, breathing rhythmically, giving a sense of tranquility.

Buzz!

In an instant, the sound of a phone vibrating resonated through the quiet room, abrupt and jarring.

As soon as he heard the ringtone, Lu Yu’s eyes snapped open, as alert as a wild beast.

His gaze electrifying, Lu Yu glanced at the phone screen, seeing Luo Lie’s name displayed.

”Luo Lie?”

Seeing the name on the screen, a hint of suspicion flashed in Lu Yu’s eyes.

Why would Luo Lie suddenly call in the middle of the night?

”Could something have happened to Jiang Angge?”

At that thought, Lu Yu’s body shivered with apprehension, immediately considering the worst-case scenario!

In an instant, Lu Yu grabbed the phone and pressed the call button, saying, ”What’s the matter?”

His voice was deep, full of inquiry as he spoke.

”Jiang Angge has been rescued!”

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s question, Luo Lie’s voice came through the phone, sounding extremely agitated.

Just moments ago, he received an emergency alert from the Ministry of State Security, and upon understanding the situation, he immediately called Lu Yu.

”Jiang Angge has been rescued!?”

Upon hearing Luo Lie’s words, Lu Yu’s voice instantly rose in surprise, ”When did this happen!?”

As he spoke, Lu Yu’s eyes flashed with a fierce light, icy and murderous like a beast.

”About ten minutes ago. Currently, there’s no response from the comrades guarding the hospital, they should be dead. I suspect Wu Chengyi acted personally!”

Luo Lie’s voice was filled with speculation and somberness.

”What’s there to guess!?”

Hearing this, Lu Yu said coldly, ”Wu Chengyi appeared before me just days ago, and now Jiang Angge has been rescued. It’s obviously Wu Chengyi’s doing!”

Lu Yu’s voice was low, full of urgency.

Jiang Angge was incredibly significant, holding important information about the Jiang Family.

Once Jiang Angge is taken back to the Jiang Family by Wu Chengyi, not only will he be exposed, but the consequences would also be severe!

Thinking of this, Lu Yu took a deep breath and said, ”Did you check the hospital monitoring?”

His voice was suppressed, laced with anxiety.

This time, they must know Jiang Angge’s whereabouts. They absolutely cannot let him escape, or it will lead to endless troubles!

Therefore, Lu Yu asked about the monitoring to locate Jiang Angge.

”We have. A preliminary check showed the other party was in a Prado, they entered the highway five minutes ago.”

Luo Lie’s voice was low, ”Should we seal off the highway entrance?”

”It’s too late, Wu Chengyi’s skills and identity will make it impossible to stop him with such hasty arrangements. Prepare a high-powered heavy vehicle for me at the highway entrance. This time I’ll intercept them myself!”

Lu Yu’s voice was cold and resolute.

”No problem, I’ll arrange it immediately!”

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Luo Lie responded decisively.

Upon hearing this, Lu Yu hung up, sprang up, and rushed downstairs.

...

Moments later, Lu Yu drove a Bentley to the Lin’an City highway entrance leading to the Capital.

As soon as he got out of the car, he saw the road leading from Lin’an City to the Capital completely blocked by Ministry of State Security members.

Luo Lie stood on the road, his brows tightly knitted, appearing solemn.

Beside him was a black Ford Raptor, radiating an imposing aura.

Seeing this, Lu Yu briskly walked over and asked, ”What’s the situation?”

His gaze was penetrating, giving a profound feeling.

Now that Jiang Angge had escaped from him, Lu Yu was filled with rage.

”We have sealed off the highway entrance, no vehicles are allowed through. We can use this chance to apprehend Jiang Angge!”

Responding to Lu Yu, Luo Lie explained the situation, ”This Ford Raptor was confiscated as an illegally modified vehicle by the traffic police. It’s the most powerful heavy vehicle available, it should be able to catch up with Jiang Angge’s Prado!”

Hearing this, Lu Yu instinctively turned his attention to the Raptor, which clearly underwent extensive modification, appearing twice the size of normal vehicles.

Particularly the massive tires, giving an impression of robustness.

”If that’s the case, let’s not delay. Let’s go capture Jiang Angge now; he must not return to the Capital.”

Looking at Luo Lie, Lu Yu said, ”If he gets back to the Capital, the consequences will be unimaginable, understand?!”

Given that Jiang Angge knows some of Lu Yu’s information, letting him return to the Capital would make dealing with the Jiang Family exceedingly troublesome.

Moreover, the Jiang Family would spare no effort in dealing with him, making it an unprecedented challenge!

Thus, Jiang Angge must not escape!

”Understood.”

Hearing Lu Yu, Luo Lie responded in a deep tone. ”We will pursue immediately!”

”I’ll go after them first, you follow me with weapons. This time we must stop them at all costs!”

Lu Yu’s voice was sharp and commanding.

”No problem!”

Hearing this, Luo Lie responded.

With that assurance, Lu Yu nodded, got onto the Raptor, started the vehicle, and slammed his foot on the accelerator!

Buzz!

As Lu Yu floored the accelerator, the engine roared to life with a thunderous noise that was utterly overwhelming!

Such powerful dynamism!

Feeling the raucous engine, Lu Yu felt as if he were truly riding a beast, the vehicle like a rampant creature ready to break free!

”Jiang Angge, you won’t escape this time!”

Speaking coldly, Lu Yu floored the accelerator, and the Raptor charged like a ferocious beast!

The mighty engine sound echoed across the highway, ferocious and unyielding!

Witnessing this, Luo Lie too, acted without hesitation, jumping into the vehicle to follow Lu Yu’s lead, racing ahead.
