Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

The next morning, Lin’an City was a stark contrast to its usual clear and bright weather; clouds gathered densely in the sky, with intermittent drizzle falling relentlessly, giving this international metropolis a sinister aura.

At this moment, Lu Yu woke from his sleep, looked at the cloud-covered sky outside the window, and immediately got out of bed. After having breakfast and grooming thoroughly, he drove straight to Victory Group.

Driving along the road, Lu Yu looked at the city shrouded in clouds, feeling a sense of indescribable oppression in his heart.

For some reason, today’s gloomy and threatening sky and the gray streets made his heart increasingly oppressed and dissatisfied.

Slowly parking the car in Victory Group’s parking lot, Lu Yu walked directly into the hall of Victory Group.

At this moment, Lu Yu had just walked into the hall of Victory Group when he felt a wave of oppressive gloom coming towards him, even colder than the oppressive atmosphere outside.

”Boss, you finally arrived.”

Just as Lu Yu was still puzzled by this aura of gloom, Wu Song quickly stepped forward and said, ”Someone wants to ask you about something.”

”Ask me about something?”

Upon hearing this, Lu Yu raised his eyebrows slightly, revealing a hint of suspicion in his eyes, ”Who is it?”

Lu Yu couldn’t figure out who wanted to ask him something.

”I’m not too sure either.”

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s words, Wu Song replied, ”They didn’t say anything, but I’ve asked them to wait for you in the office.”

Upon hearing this, Lu Yu’s eyebrows furrowed slightly, a barely noticeable glint flashed in his eyes.

Having just captured Jiang Angge, and not even a week has passed, now someone is coming to find him; such matters made Lu Yu’s heart rise with alertness.

”What kind of person is this?”

Lu Yu asked, curious to know exactly who had come to visit this time.

”The visitor is a middle-aged man, quite advanced in age, with a harmonious demeanor. Beside him is a young man who walks very formally, likely with a military background.”

With these words, Wu Song described the other party’s physical characteristics with respect and care.

Military background!

At these words, Lu Yu was secretly struck, getting a bit more clarity in his mind.

Not long ago, Lu Yu had captured Jiang Angge; it’s only been four days, and now a military-like person is coming to inquire. If Lu Yu’s guess is correct, this should be a representative sent by the Jiang family to investigate the matter.

”Alright, I understand. You go ahead and take care of your tasks; I’ll meet them. If others don’t have business, don’t let them come over.”

Lu Yu spoke calmly, showing stability and intending to see exactly what kind of person had come this time.

”Understood.”

At these words, Wu Song nodded and retreated.

After Wu Song stepped back, Lu Yu’s gaze revealed a hint of a cold smile, and then he walked directly to the door of the security department, pushed the door and entered.

Upon entering, Lu Yu saw a middle-aged man in a black Zhongshan suit sitting in the guest seating. He held a cup of water, looking completely ordinary and unassuming.

As described by Wu Song, this middle-aged man’s face was particularly cordial, looking entirely benign.

If someone from the Jiang family were present, they would instantly recognize that this middle-aged man was the Jiang family’s steward, Wu Chengyi!

Beside him was a young man, upright and proper, clearly with a military background.

”This must be Manager Lu.”

Seeing Lu Yu enter, Wu Chengyi set aside his water cup, stood up quickly, and extended a hand to Lu Yu, evidently intending to shake hands.

”Who are you two?”

Seeing Wu Chengyi like this, Lu Yu’s eyes flickered slightly, and he extended his right hand to shake hands with Wu Chengyi, asking.

”I am from the Capital Tianhe Group; my name is Wu Chengyi. I’m here to ask Manager Lu about something.”

As he spoke, Wu Chengyi’s hand slightly exerted force, pressing on Lu Yu’s palm.

Hmm?

At the moment Wu Chengyi’s hand exerted pressure, Lu Yu’s eyes flashed with a sharp glint, looking somewhat surprised.

Not for any other reason, but because Wu Chengyi’s handshake strength exceeded his expectations, even making Lu Yu feel a hint of pressure.

Feeling the pressure on his palm, Lu Yu’s mind stirred, and he immediately used force, instantly neutralizing Wu Chengyi’s strength.

With this exertion, Wu Chengyi’s eyes sparkled with a flash of brilliance, which quickly disappeared into his cordial smile.

But even so, this glint was caught by Lu Yu’s eye!

This Wu Chengyi is not simple!

Seeing the flash of brilliance on Wu Chengyi’s face, Lu Yu thought to himself in his mind.

”Manager Lu’s grip is strong.”

Feeling the force from Lu Yu’s palm, Wu Chengyi released his hand and jokingly remarked.

”Not bad.”

Hearing this, Lu Yu also released Wu Chengyi’s hand and said, ”We in security have to have some skills, or how can we handle such a large group’s security matters?”

The conversation between Lu Yu and Wu Chengyi was simple, but it was a silent test.

In a moment, neither Lu Yu nor Wu Chengyi underestimated each other.

Lu Yu glanced at Wu Chengyi and then said, ”Mr. Wu, let’s get to the point. You’ve come from the capital to Victory Group; what exactly do you want to ask?”

In his words, Lu Yu looked at Wu Chengyi, full of probing intent.

”It’s like this,”

Upon hearing it, Wu Chengyi said, ”Our President of Tianhe Group, Jiang Angge, came to your company recently to discuss cooperation matters, but after such a long time, we cannot reach the President himself.”

”For this reason, President Jiang’s family is very anxious, and they specifically sent me to your company to inquire and see if there are any whereabouts of President Jiang.”

While speaking, Wu Chengyi’s voice rose and fell, implicitly revealing another meaning.

Upon hearing this, Lu Yu’s body paused, looking at Wu Chengyi with a smile in his eyes, and then said, ”Mr. Wu, your question truly stumps me. President Jiang indeed came to Victory Group, but since then, I haven’t seen him. Are you asking the wrong person?”

In his speech, Lu Yu spoke in a low voice, full of playful intent.
