Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

Sitting in the dark, cramped room, Lu Yu recalled all his memories of this place, his eyes full of the passage of time, yet also filled with nostalgia.

This was once Lu Yu’s home, holding all the happy memories of the first half of his life. Even in its dilapidation, it still evoked the warmest memories in Lu Yu’s heart.

In fact, since Lu Yu returned to Lin’an, he had wanted to come back and see it more than once. But because his great vengeance was yet unavenged, plus the scene of the Lu Family’s downfall five years ago, he never had the courage to return.

Now, as Lu Yu sat there, he found an unusual calm in his heart. Looking around, he felt a sense of acceptance.

Even in ruin, this was still his home, still a place where he could find peace.

”Hoo!”

After pondering for a while, Lu Yu slowly stood up, then exhaled a deep breath. Looking at the decayed surroundings, he spoke softly, ”Just wait, once I have avenged all my enemies, I will restore this place and return here with dignity.”

In his words, there was a hint of determination as he slowly turned and walked out of the Lu Family Manor.

Although this place contained too many memories for Lu Yu, he did not wish to dwell on them now. What he wanted to do was to kill all his enemies and avenge his parents!

With this in mind, Lu Yu slowly stepped away, leaving the Lu Family Manor behind.

…

After leaving the Lu Family Manor, Lu Yu drove through the dazzling streets of Lin’an City. After the recent events, his mind was full of thoughts.

Unconsciously, Lu Yu found himself in front of Wen Ya’s small bar.

Looking at the neon sign flashing in front of him, Lu Yu shook his head with a slight smile on his face.

Since he was here, he might as well go in for a drink.

Perhaps because the recent events had stirred up memories for Lu Yu, he wanted to have a drink to ease his already heavy mood a bit.

Slowly parking the car, Lu Yu made his way into the bar.

Inside, the lighting was quite dim, giving the place an ambiguous, romantic feel. The music echoing throughout amplified the atmosphere, leaving one feeling rather mesmerized.

Wen Ya was wearing a sleek black cheongsam, sitting by the window in a booth. In her hand was a glass of amber liquid, shimmering in the light with a glorious hue.

Fine wine with a beautiful woman, under such dim light, enhanced her allure and charm.

”Sister Demon, long time no see.”

Seeing Wen Ya sitting there, Lu Yu smiled slightly and spoke, his eyes revealing a light, gentle smile.

Perhaps due to their similar pasts, seeing Wen Ya in her black cheongsam always gave Lu Yu a sense of familiarity.

”Oh, little brother, it’s been so long since I’ve seen you. I thought you’d forgotten about me.”

Seeing Lu Yu walk in, Wen Ya smiled playfully and teased.

Though it had been a while since they last met, things still felt as familiar as ever.

”How could I?”

Hearing Wen Ya’s words, Lu Yu responded with a slight smile, his tone teasing: ”A beautiful woman like you, Sister, I wouldn’t easily forget. That’s why I came to see you at the first chance I got today, isn’t it?”

Lu Yu’s words were somewhat flippant, but his eyes still carried a depth.

Noticing the depth in Lu Yu’s gaze, Wen Ya smiled slightly and then snapped her fingers, calling to the bartender, ”Make a ’Godfather’ for my little brother.”

The Godfather is a lesser-known bitter cocktail with relatively high alcohol content, its flavor restrained yet rich, often suited for those with stories to tell.

Perhaps seeing the depth in Lu Yu’s eyes was why Wen Ya ordered such a drink for him.

Mature and insightful women are like this. She understood the thoughts within a man’s heart, yet she never pointed it out directly, choosing instead to silently comfort and soothe, making one feel very at ease.

”Thank you.”

Hearing the drink that Wen Ya ordered for him, Lu Yu glanced at Wen Ya, then thanked her, his words steady.

”No need to thank me.”

Upon hearing Lu Yu, Wen Ya smiled slightly, then said in a drawn-out, sultry tone, ”The favor you did me, I can never repay in this lifetime, so there’s no need to thank me.”

Her voice was low and sexy, offering a deeper kind of solace.

Moments later, the Godfather was placed in front of Lu Yu, and looking at the amber liquid in the tumbler, Lu Yu smiled slightly, then picked up his glass, saying to Wen Ya, ”Cheers, Sister Demon.”

”Cheers.”

Hearing Lu Yu, Wen Ya smiled slightly, then picked up her own glass and gently clinked it with Lu Yu’s, taking a light sip.

The moment the amber liquid touched Lu Yu’s lips, a rich aroma surged through his mouth. The initial sweetness gave way to a slight almond bitterness, finishing with a hint of tartness, a distinct layering of flavors that lingered.

”Great drink!”

After taking a sip, Lu Yu couldn’t help but exclaim, his voice deep.

The sweetness followed by bitterness and then tartness mirrored Lu Yu’s life of over twenty years, a gradual transformation evoking sighs.

”Only those with stories drink the Godfather.”

Hearing Lu Yu, Wen Ya looked at him, her stunning face showing a blend of wisdom and tenderness: ”Such a drink is like life itself, its varied flavors distinct, only those with stories can savor its taste.”

With deliberate seriousness, Wen Ya spoke, her beautiful face captivating.

”Sister Demon, thank you.”

At that moment, Lu Yu spoke, his words filled with gratitude.

The warmth and wisdom of Wen Ya, that subtle soothing comfort, made him feel very content.

”I said, there’s no need to thank me.”

Hearing Lu Yu, Wen Ya smiled gently, then said, ”You need to know the things you’ve done for me far outweigh what I’ve done for you, so between us, there’s no need for such words.”

Her voice was soft and soothing, with a hint of tenderness, simply listening to it made one feel utterly relaxed.
