Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s words, a few of the Celestial Wolf Association’s henchmen didn’t hesitate for a moment, dragging the limp Zhang Ruxue and Miao Jian out of the private room like dead dogs, heading for the back door via the staff passage.

”Young Master Lu, today’s incident is my fault, I humbly ask for your forgiveness!”

After the henchmen left with Zhang Ruxue and Miao Jian, Li Ruixue shuddered, then knelt down before Lu Yu with a thud, speaking with utmost respect, revealing a deep reverence in his words.

Having roamed the underworld for many years, Li Ruixue had long honed the ability to be both tough and flexible. He had witnessed Lu Yu’s methods before, and although he had been unwittingly dragged into this mess by Miao Jian and Zhang Ruxue, he was nonetheless involved.

This is precisely why Li Ruixue chose to kneel and seek leniency from Lu Yu at this moment.

Seeing Li Ruixue kneeling before him, Lu Yu’s lips curled into a smile.

To Lu Yu, Li Ruixue was truly a seasoned veteran of the Celestial Wolf Association, having deftly dealt with Zhang Ruxue and Miao Jian for him first, and now, with no one around, kneeling to ask for forgiveness. Such a clever series of actions!

After all, since Li Ruixue had proactively knelt and apologized, Lu Yu couldn’t possibly go hard on him!

In reality, Lu Yu hadn’t planned to blame Li Ruixue; it was obvious to everyone that Li Ruixue was just a victim.

The whole incident was simply a plot with Zhang Ruxue and Miao Jian that Li Ruixue got entangled in unwittingly. He wasn’t significantly involved, and considering Li Ruixue’s clever handling of the matter earlier, Lu Yu didn’t intend to blame him.

”Li Ruixue, I originally wasn’t planning to let you off.”

Looking at Li Ruixue, Lu Yu spoke softly, his words filled with a solemn tone.

Though he didn’t initially plan on blaming Li Ruixue, Lu Yu felt he needed to scare him a little. After all, authority needs to be asserted appropriately.

Otherwise, if Li Ruixue thought the matter could be resolved so easily, who knows if other random people might come looking for trouble in the future!

Now, the families that had acted against the Lu Family back then are gradually surfacing, and the enemies are growing stronger. He couldn’t afford to waste time and energy on such trivial matters.

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Li Ruixue trembled, about to say something.

At this moment, Lu Yu’s voice came again.

”But!”

At this turn, Lu Yu adjusted his tone and said, ”Considering your clever handling just now, I’ll let it slide for now!”

Upon hearing this, Li Ruixue froze, rushing to express his gratitude, ”Thank you, Young Master Lu, for your grace! Thank you, Young Master Lu!”

At this moment, Li Ruixue felt a sudden sense of relief, as if narrowly escaping disaster.

”Don’t rush to thank me.”

Seeing Li Ruixue expressing his thanks, Lu Yu spoke, ”Though I don’t intend to pursue responsibility, you’ll still have to face some consequences!”

At these words, Li Ruixue froze instantly, standing stiffly.

Now, he was somewhat bewildered, not knowing what Lu Yu intended to do.

Seeing Li Ruixue stunned, Lu Yu’s face revealed a slight cold smile, and then he spoke, ”I was too busy being angry with you all earlier, hardly had a bite of all the good dishes on the table, you’re in charge here...”

”Understood, understood!”

Li Ruixue instantly grasped Lu Yu’s intent, quickly responding, ”It’s an honor for Young Master Lu to visit our humble establishment. I’ll have the kitchen prepare another set of dishes as before, from now on, everything will be on the house whenever Young Master Lu visits Jialing Building!”

Li Ruixue breathed a long sigh of relief, feeling deeply relaxed.

He had originally thought Lu Yu was about to punish him, but it turned out to be quite different.

Even though those dishes were quite expensive, as long as Lu Yu wouldn’t punish him, it was certainly worth it.

”Very well, pack it all up for me once it’s prepared, got it?”

Upon hearing Li Ruixue’s words, Lu Yu spoke softly, his tone still calm.

”Understood, understood.”

Li Ruixue nodded quickly, his words filled with flattery.

...

A moment later, Lu Yu returned home, carrying freshly prepared dishes.

Upon entering, he saw Meng Yue still sitting on the sofa watching a movie, and the table was missing the abundance of snacks from last time.

Seeing Meng Yue, Lu Yu smiled helplessly, then said, ”Why do you always like watching movies at my place?”

Lu Yu couldn’t quite understand it, wondering why Meng Yue chose his place when she could watch movies anywhere.

”Watching here is satisfying, no one fights me for it.”

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s question, Meng Yue replied casually, ”Lu Yu, why didn’t you let me know earlier that you were coming back? I would’ve asked you to bring me a snack.”

Saying this, Meng Yue spoke without taking her eyes off the movie.

”I already brought some.”

Hearing Meng Yue’s words, Lu Yu slowly placed the boxed delicacies in front of her and said, ”I didn’t have dinner either, let’s eat together.”

Upon hearing the aroma from the dishes, Meng Yue’s face lit up with a smile, saying, ”It smells so good, where did you buy it, looks quite upscale!”

With that, Meng Yue grabbed the chopsticks and took a bite.

Upon hearing Meng Yue’s comment, Lu Yu felt somewhat speechless. These weren’t street food but luxurious dishes worth tens of thousands of yuan, quite a contrast to her words.

”I just passed by a restaurant on my way from work, packed some dishes. No street food here.”

With this, Lu Yu took a bite himself, speaking casually, his tone calm.

”The craftsmanship of this little restaurant is quite impressive, tastes almost like a five-star hotel!”

Meng Yue said while eating and watching the movie, her charming face exuding an unusual cuteness.

Upon hearing Meng Yue’s compliment, Lu Yu shook his head helplessly, thinking if Meng Yue knew the price of these dishes, she would surely be shocked.

However, Lu Yu didn’t plan to reveal anything to Meng Yue. The atmosphere was harmonious, and he had no intention of disrupting it.
