Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

Early the next morning, Lu Yu got up bright and early. After carefully grooming himself, he drove straight to the front of the Victory Group.

The Victory Group before him was as bustling as ever, just as lively and chaotic. Countless employees in suits, looking dignified and poised, entered the Victory Group, demonstrating the expected order of a large enterprise.

Seeing the scene before him, Lu Yu smiled slightly and drove directly into the parking lot of the Victory Group.

After parking his car, Lu Yu got out from the driver’s seat, and his gaze quickly caught sight of a black military vehicle parked silently not far ahead, looking quite conspicuous.

This vehicle was square and solid, and its license plate was different from others. Typically, license plates are blue with white text, a common sight without any peculiarity.

However, the color of this vehicle’s license plate was white with red text, and the numbers on it were extremely simple, giving off a very striking impression.

”A military vehicle?”

Seeing the scene before him, Lu Yu said softly, and then he couldn’t help but chuckle and said, ”Looks like Luo Lie is here!”

Although Lu Yu’s words were relaxed, his mind was slightly puzzled.

As a member of Shadow Sword, Luo Lie was undeniably a staunch soldier, often found in the Ministry of State Security in Lin’an City, clearly observing him, which Lu Yu was very aware of.

However, even so, Luo Lie usually came to visit him under a private capacity, and very low-key. So why did he suddenly use such a conspicuous license plate today?

”Forget it. I can’t figure it out just standing here. I might as well go up and see for myself.”

With this thought, Lu Yu shook his head and then said, ”Maybe Luo Lie just didn’t have a car today and borrowed a vehicle from the Ministry of State Security.”

Having said that, Lu Yu smiled slightly, then stepped forward toward his office.

...

At this moment, in Lu Yu’s office, Luo Lie, dressed in a black jacket, had furrowed brows, seemingly troubled by something.

”The car you drove today is quite special.”

As Luo Lie was pondering, the door to the security department opened directly, and Lu Yu walked in with a light step. Upon seeing Luo Lie, he remarked lightly.

As he spoke, Lu Yu arrived at his desk, sat down calmly, and said, ”So, what’s the reason for your visit this time?”

As the saying goes, there’s no visit without a reason. Seeing Luo Lie suddenly driving such an official vehicle meant there was definitely something he needed to discuss.

”Lu Yu.”

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Luo Lie didn’t waste any words. He looked at Lu Yu and said, ”Just the night before last, we found Gu Yanzhou with his arms severed, dead from excessive blood loss, and the place of death was within less than a kilometer radius from your residence.”

As he spoke, Luo Lie paused slightly and asked, ”Did you kill him?”

Luo Lie’s words were direct, without any unnecessary preamble or convoluted words.

”Oh?”

Upon hearing Luo Lie, a playful smile appeared on Lu Yu’s face. He looked at Luo Lie with interest and said, ”You also know about Gu Yanzhou?”

Previously, when he was investigating the Jin Family, Shadow Sword was conducting their investigation simultaneously. Now that Gu Yanzhou had just died and Luo Lie came looking for him, it seemed that Shadow Sword was also secretly watching the Gu Family.

”That’s right.”

Hearing Lu Yu’s response, Luo Lie said, without any intention to hide due to their mutual understanding, ”Shadow Sword’s role is to ensure people’s safety from the shadows. Given Gu Yanzhou’s formidable strength, he naturally came under our watch.”

Continuing his speech, Luo Lie added, ”Lu Yu, did you kill him?”

”Yes!”

Upon hearing Luo Lie’s question, Lu Yu answered calmly, being straightforward without any pretense.

Lu Yu understood Luo Lie well. Since he came directly, it meant he had enough evidence that Gu Yanzhou was killed by him.

Under such circumstances, there was no point in concealing the truth, so Lu Yu admitted without hesitation!

”It was indeed you!”

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s admission, Luo Lie took a deep breath, astonished.

Knowing Gu Yanzhou’s capabilities was a clear priority for Shadow Sword. Because Gu Yanzhou was highly formidable, he was listed as one of their watchers’ focus!

Yet Lu Yu, sitting here casually after eliminating Gu Yanzhou, showcased Lu Yu’s strength!

”Any issues?”

Hearing Luo Lie’s concern, Lu Yu asked coolly, ”You didn’t come all the way in an official Ministry of State Security vehicle just to ask me this trivial question?”

Soldiers obey orders as their duty. Luo Lie specifically came in a military vehicle, indicating that Shadow Sword had given him instructions.

Otherwise, even if Luo Lie was interested in this case, he would have likely called before, not driven here directly!

”Lu Yu.”

Upon hearing Lu Yu, Luo Lie took a deep breath and said solemnly, ”You assassinated Gu Yanzhou. The incident was reported to the Ministry of State Security. When our Shadow Sword’s Group Leader Qin learned about it, he wanted to meet you!”

”Meet me?”

Upon hearing Luo Lie, Lu Yu chuckled. Seeing Luo Lie, he asked, ”Why does your Group Leader Qin want to meet me for no reason?”

Although Lu Yu sounded indifferent, there was already a thread of vigilance in his voice.

Due to his past experiences, he had no favorable feelings toward official organizations.

”Given Gu Yanzhou’s formidable capabilities and your single-handed takedown of him, our Group Leader Qin is very interested in your prowess and wishes to meet you.”

In response, Luo Lie spoke, though his words carried a hint of helplessness.

”Wants to meet me...”

Upon hearing Luo Lie, Lu Yu shook his head, a serious expression crossing his face. Looking at Luo Lie, he asked, ”What if I refuse to meet him?”

”Too late.”

Luo Lie shook his head, maintaining a steady gaze on Lu Yu, and said, ”Group Leader Qin’s schedule is set. Barring any surprises, he’ll be in Lin’an City by tomorrow morning.”
