Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

An important phone call that makes Zhou Huchen disregard his own safety must have very crucial clues!

At this thought, a cold glint flashed in Lu Yu’s eyes. At this moment, without any hesitation, he shook the Rope-Curled Sword in his hand, moving it away from Zhou Huchen’s throat. The sword, thin as a cicada’s wings, seemed like a wildly dancing silver snake as it swiftly struck towards Zhou Huchen’s fingers!

This phone call is evidently of utmost importance. He absolutely cannot let Zhou Huchen touch the phone; otherwise, the consequences will be extremely troublesome!

Thinking of this, a ruthless look burst out from Lu Yu’s eyes. He saw the speed of the Rope-Curled Sword in his hand suddenly increase by a few degrees, accompanied by a sharp sound of cutting through the air. In the split second it touched Zhou Huchen’s fingers, his wrist instantly trembled!

Ah!

At the moment Lu Yu’s Rope-Curled Sword shook, followed by a heart-wrenching sound, all five fingers of Zhou Huchen’s hand were immediately severed by Lu Yu’s sword!

Typically, Lu Yu would now slash open Zhou Huchen’s throat with one swing of his sword and casually answer the phone after killing him.

However, Lu Yu currently couldn’t ascertain the value of this phone call, so he merely severed Zhou Huchen’s fingers without killing him.

After slicing off Zhou Huchen’s fingers, Lu Yu ignored Zhou Huchen, whose body was trembling due to the pain. He flicked the Rope-Curled Sword in his hand like a venomous snake, aiming at Zhou Huchen’s pocket!

Rip!

With Lu Yu’s flick, Zhou Huchen’s pocket was suddenly torn open, and the phone inside instantly appeared in Lu Yu’s sight!

Seeing Zhou Huchen’s phone, a gleam flashed in Lu Yu’s eyes. Like lightning, he snatched the phone into his hand.

Meanwhile, he glanced aside, his lips slightly curving into a smile.

Because on Zhou Huchen’s phone screen, two words were prominently displayed: Young Master!

”It seems I guessed right.”

Seeing the words Young Master, Lu Yu smiled slightly, looking at Zhou Huchen, who was trembling all over due to the intense pain. He pressed the Rope-Curled Sword against Zhou Huchen’s throat and laughed, saying, ”You really are just a puppet. The one truly controlling the Dongdao Group should be this so-called Young Master, right?”

Upon hearing this, Zhou Huchen’s eyes widened in a circle. With all five fingers severed and the Rope-Curled Sword against his throat, he dared not make any rash moves.

Zhou Huchen’s life was now entirely in Lu Yu’s hands. Lu Yu could kill him at any moment if he so wished!

At this moment, no matter how angry he was inside, he didn’t dare to move!

Seeing Zhou Huchen like this, Lu Yu smiled slightly. Then, he pressed the answer button on the phone, curious to see who this so-called Young Master really was.

”Huchen, how’s the job coming along?”

At the instant he pressed the call button, a somber and understated young man’s voice immediately came through: ”Who exactly is the seller of that sword?”

In his words, the owner of this voice carried a hint of impatience, evidently from having waited too long.

”I’m truly sorry.”

Upon hearing this voice, Lu Yu smiled slightly and then said, ”He’s currently unavailable to answer the phone, but he has done a terribly poor job with it!”

There was no rise or fall in Lu Yu’s tone, full of indifference. It sounded lukewarm, like a cat toying with a mouse, filled with mockery!

Buzz!

As soon as Lu Yu finished speaking, the young man on the other end of the call felt his heart skip a beat sharply and then asked, ”Who are you?”

These words were spoken in a rather hurried tone with a hint of panic, and even his breathing became a bit more rapid!

”Who am I?”

Upon hearing this, Lu Yu laughed. At this moment, a trace of amusement appeared in his eyes as he said into the phone, ”I am the seller of the Rope-Curled Sword. Weren’t you looking for me? Why are you scared now that I reached out to you first?”

Lu Yu’s words were spoken lightly, with a hint of playful sarcasm.

Meanwhile, on the other end of the phone, the young man whom Zhou Huchen referred to as Young Master, after hearing Lu Yu’s words, his whole body went rigid as if he were struck by lightning!

He had clearly called Zhou Huchen, but the one who answered was a stranger, even claiming to be the seller of the Rope-Curled Sword!

This indirectly indicated that Zhou Huchen must have encountered an accident at this moment!

Earlier this morning, when speaking with Zhou Huchen, Zhou Huchen was brimming with confidence, saying that handling this matter would be a breeze.

But now, not only was the matter unresolved, but Zhou Huchen himself was also caught up in it. Such circumstances truly shocked the young man!

He was well aware of Zhou Huchen’s prowess; an existence undeniably robust, with skills comparable to those of Gu Yanzhou of the Gu Family!

Yet, such a skilled individual had now met with a mishap. This outcome indeed filled this young man with fear and unease in his heart!

Zhou Huchen’s skills were on par with Gu Yanzhou. Now that something like this happened to Zhou Huchen, it implies that the person calling him now is the one who killed Gu Yanzhou!

The more the young man thought about it, the more waves of fear washed over him.

Currently, Lin’an City was gradually stepping into the height of summer, with warm weather. But right now, the young man’s body felt as if it was in the depths of winter, bitterly cold and filled with bouts of fear!

Gulp!

At this thought, the young man’s throat moved. After pondering for a while, he said, ”This matter happened because I unintentionally offended you. Please provide an account number, and I am willing to compensate for my mistake generously, assuring you that henceforth, I will never investigate you again!”

Even over the phone, the young man couldn’t suppress his uncontrollable panic. It was precisely under such pressure of fear that he chose to admit defeat!

At the moment, he fully believed that this incident had angered the other party due to his unwarranted investigation and could be resolved entirely with money.

It was under this assumption that he intended to pay a hefty sum to settle this matter!

But he was completely mistaken!

The young man was still entirely unaware that the situation between him and Lu Yu was not simply about this current matter!

Moreover, the young man was yet to realize that Lu Yu’s target was the family behind him!

”Money?”

Upon hearing the young man’s words, Lu Yu smiled slightly, then said, ”I don’t lack money, and our matter is not something that can merely be resolved with money!”

In his words, Lu Yu’s voice was filled with a cold smile. He paused slightly in his speech, then continued, ”Today’s call is just to give you a heads-up. I believe it’s not long before we can have a ’proper face-to-face chat.’”

In his words, Lu Yu’s tone was low, especially when he mentioned ’proper face-to-face chat’, flowed with a chilling undertone, making one’s scalp tingle!
