I, the Destined Villain, Start by Controlling the Saint

Damn it, I’ve become a role model of righteousnessSome young Cultivators, with shallow experience, were not clear about the history of the Witch Race.

But some older, more powerful Cultivators, hearing the name of the Witch Race, showed serious expressions.

Even the two Great Ascension Elders from Hundred Flowers Holy Land were particularly surprised; they sternly said,

”Ru Shuang, do you know what you are saying?”

”This is not a joke.”

Hong Rushuang also did not want to tell the truth, but she knew that the man in front of her would not allow her to lie.

She dared not gamble and could only speak the truth.

Hong Rushuang cried out, ”Elder, I am truly the Witch King’s daughter from the Witch Race, I’m not lying to you.”

”Saint, please spare my life for telling the truth, okay?” she pleaded, completely devoid of her usual arrogance and indifference.

Xiao Fan was very happy and gently helped her up, but Hong Rushuang reacted instinctively, subconsciously backing away.

However, meeting Xiao Fan’s gaze, she was startled again and dared not move, only standing still, trembling all over, like a mouse seeing a cat.

Xiao Fan helped Hong Rushuang up, a faint smile on his face, and smoothed her disheveled hair. ”Your task is complete; you may live.”

”Thank you, thank you, Dominator.”

Hong Rushuang said with tears of gratitude, her voice filled with joy; she had survived!

”Find a place to hide, and do not leave my sight, otherwise, the first thing I do when I have time will be to kill you,” Xiao Fan said with a smile.

Hong Rushuang did not refute, only stood quietly to the side.

No one knew what kind of stimulus she had endured.

People only knew that she disappeared for a few days, and after she reappeared, she became like this: timid, cowardly, and humbly obedient, as if she had been successfully trained.

”Saint, it was my Elder’s haste, but may we have Hong Rushuang handed over to our Holy Land for us to deal with?” said a Great Ascension Elder from Hundred Flowers Holy Land.

”This is my spoils of war, my private property; you have no right to dispose of her,” Xiao Fan said indifferently.

”Alright.”

People from other forces watched.

Just now, the Saint wanted to kill her, and although the people from Hundred Flowers Holy Land were somewhat disdainful, they still wanted to stop him.

Now, Xiao Fan stated directly that if she dared to disobey, he would kill her, and the Elder from Hundred Flowers Holy Land no longer had the same resistance as before.

It seemed, vaguely, that the Elder from Hundred Flowers Holy Land wanted to kill Hong Rushuang.

If it weren’t for Xiao Fan’s presence, perhaps Hong Rushuang would have died the next second.

Hong Rushuang felt grateful in her heart; he was protecting her, without even considering that Xiao Fan had almost killed her just now, perhaps due to some psychological condition.

”Why does it feel like the Elder from Hundred Flowers Holy Land now has a murderous intent towards Hong Rushuang?”

”You’re not mistaken; I saw it too.”

”What exactly is the Witch Race? Why did their faces change as soon as it was mentioned?”

”You are still too young; you don’t know the terror of the Witch Race.”

”Elder, is this Witch Race very strong?”

”Strong? Indeed very strong, the Witch Race was once the absolute Dominator of the world.”

As soon as this was said, everyone understood that things were not simple.

That knowledgeable Elder said,

”In ancient times, ten thousand races contended for supremacy. At that time, our Human Race was still small and weak, and the Witch Race was the Dominator of this world.”

”The Witch Race are born strong; they are born with immense power. A three-year-old child can possess ten thousand catties of immense strength, capable of splitting mountains and breaking stones with ease.”

”Holy cow, a three-year-old can have ten thousand catties of immense strength?”

Many Cultivators felt their scalps tingle; weren’t these naturally born powerhouses?

”Do you think that’s all?” The Elder seemed to know more secrets; he shook his head and said, ”In ancient times, our Human Race did not yet have Daoist Magic. All living beings in the world competed on who had the stronger Physical Body and greater strength, and whoever did was the overlord of the world.”

”At that time, the immortal Dao was not apparent. It is said that at that time, those who Cultivated practiced martial Dao, because the Witch Race thrived on martial Dao. They could Cultivate martial Dao, strengthen their Physical Body, and stand out among all living beings.”

”The people of the Witch Race are born with Divine Power, and coupled with martial Dao fitting their Physical Body, under the combination of the two, the power of the Witch Race was irresistible. Three-year-old Witch Race children had ten thousand catties of immense strength, and Witch Race members around twenty years old could move mountains and fill seas, and punch through the Void Realm.”

”The Witch Race were the first children of heaven and earth. Their martial Dao flourished to the peak Realm. Their direction of Cultivation was to Cultivate the Physical Body, attempting to achieve physical transcendence and eternal life.”

”Let’s just say this: at that time, any strong individual from the Witch Race could sweep across the world; no one was their opponent.”

Hiss!

Upon hearing these secrets, the young Cultivators present were all horrified. So strong?

Any strong individual could sweep across all Cultivators in the world; this was too fierce.

”Elder, since the Witch Race was so strong, why did they decline? To the extent that now, we haven’t even heard the name of the Witch Race.”

The Elder said calmly, ”Yin and Yang alternate, the sun and moon rotate; nothing is eternal, and the strong will also be replaced.”

”The Witch Race was indeed powerful; the radiance of their single race was enough to overshadow all living beings in the world. The current three great races—Yao, Demon, and Human—combined at that time, wouldn’t have been enough for them to defeat with one hand.”

”However, the martial Dao Cultivated by the Witch Race could only strengthen the Physical Body and could not allow one to transcend, let alone achieve eternal life.”

”At that time, the Clan Chief of the Witch Race, in order to continue the glory of the Witch Race, aimed for transcendence and eternal life. To achieve this goal, he decided to sacrifice all living beings in the world to the heavens, praying for the method of eternal life.”

”It was strange to say at the time, regarding the legends of that period of history, as far as I know, the Witch Race truly obtained the method of eternal life, which was to use the blood of all living beings in the world to open the path to eternal life for the Witch Race.”

”How it was specifically operated is unknown, but the Witch Race was truly outrageous, beginning to widely capture living beings and build a massive altar spanning ten thousand li.”

”That was a dark period, filled with struggle of blood and fire. Even facing death, they fought against the Witch Race to the end. Perhaps it moved the heavens; among our Human Race powerhouses, someone achieved enlightenment in a dream, comprehending the method of immortal Dao Cultivation.”

”Not only our Human Race, but similar Cultivation methods also appeared among the Yao Race and Demon Race. Yao Beasts began to Cultivate demon cores, and the Demon Race also began to Cultivate demon cores. From then on, immortal Dao Cultivation officially began to flourish.”

”Immortal Dao also emphasizes natural Aptitude, and even more so, Comprehension Ability, which is most suitable for our Human Race, even more so than the Yao and Demon Races.”

”The Witch Race also captured Cultivators and obtained Cultivation methods from them, but they disliked that immortal Dao Cultivation was too slow, and power growth was too slow, far less obvious than the improvement in martial Dao strength, so they paid it no mind.”

”As time passed, Cultivators’ cultivation increased, and the gap between immortal Dao and martial Dao became increasingly apparent. At this time, people discovered that immortal Dao contained the marvel of eternal life and even methods of transcendence!”

”The Witch Race wanted to switch to immortal Dao at this point, but it was too late to reverse the situation, because the Cultivators of all races had already grown strong. The Witch Race’s oppression of all living beings made all beings hate the Witch Race to the bone, and the first thing they did upon becoming strong was to completely annihilate the Witch Race!”

”This was not just a war between races, but also a confrontation between immortal Dao and martial Dao. Although the Witch Race’s foundation remained, they did not keep up with immortal Dao Cultivation, falling too far behind, and were ultimately jointly eradicated by all living beings.”

”From then on, the Witch Race disappeared without a trace, and martial Dao also declined, while immortal Dao began to flourish.”

Holy cow, it really is a blood feud!

After listening to the Elder’s narration, all the Cultivators present became vigilant.

The reappearance of the Witch Race, does this mean they are coming back for revenge?

”I understand.”

”What do you understand now?”

”The Saint, didn’t you see? The Saint’s attitude towards Hong Rushuang, like a blood feud, clearly shows he knew her identity, which is why his attitude is so harsh.”

”Now that you say that, it does seem to make some sense.”

”I knew it! The Saint couldn’t be that kind of cruel person; he’s very gentle.”

”Yes, because that Witch Race is an enemy, the Saint would resort to any means. After all, being kind to enemies is being cruel to oneself.”

Recalling Xiao Fan’s encouragement to that young female Disciple from Hundred Flowers Holy Land, he seemed like a positive figure no matter how one thought about it.

A Saint of the Righteous Path could absolutely not be cruel!

They almost misunderstood the Saint.

”Saint, why don’t you explain?” the female Disciple from Hundred Flowers Holy Land asked, a little sad, seemingly feeling wronged for him.

Xiao Fan never expected this could also be linked to him?

Too lazy to explain to them.

”This Saint’s actions throughout his life, why should he explain them to others?”

Just casually trick them and be done with it.

His tone was indifferent, arrogant, even somewhat disdainful.

Yet in these people’s eyes, they felt that Xiao Fan was a man of few words, who only did what was right.

”Saint, you are truly a model of the Righteous Path, never caring about external opinions, always following your true heart.”

”Lord Saint, your magnanimity is truly vast. We misunderstood you so much, yet you don’t hold it against us.”

Xiao Fan was truly speechless. I’m the villain, yet it’s as if I’m the savior.

[Ding, Host is outwardly righteous but inwardly evil, yet in others’ eyes, you are full of righteousness. You are somewhat perverse, and in their eyes, this is the norm for someone on the Righteous Path.

Based on the above, you are perverse and a villain, as well as a hypocrite who feigns virtue. You have gained Villain Points: 10000 points.]

Xiao Fan: ???

Holy shit, this works too?

After thinking for a moment, Xiao Fan said solemnly,

”Fame is not my desire; the Righteous Path resides in my heart. All my life, I, Xiao Fan, have acted only to eliminate demons and defend the Dao. What do the cold gazes of the world matter to me? They are but a few trials.”

As soon as these words came out, Xiao Fan’s image was infinitely elevated in the hearts of these people.

”Saint, you have endured too much.”

”What is the Righteous Path? What is great righteousness? The Saint is the living Righteous Path, the walking great righteousness!”

[Ding, you are swindling and deceiving, fooling the world, truly going against your conscience; your conscience has been eaten by dogs.

You have no conscience. You have gained Villain Points: 30000 points.]

Xiao Fan was ecstatic in his heart; this was truly a win-win.

Reputation gained, Villain Points earned, a win-win! Win twice!

”Looks like I can reap another wave.” Xiao Fan cast his gaze on Left Wizard.

Should I do a performance-style harvest, earn their trust, and then pretend to struggle and counter-kill, gaining maximum attention?

”System, if I do this, how many Villain Points can I get?”

[Unknown, depends on your performance level.]

It’s feasible.

I can earn Villain Points!

Xiao Fan’s eyes gleamed. I can’t let you die so quickly. I’m truly too evil; I’m even going to squeeze out his last remaining value before killing him.
