I, the Destined Villain, Start by Controlling the Saint

Invitation from the Lord of FlowersIn the center of the Blessed Land, there was a ten-mile-square arena.

More precisely, the entire ten-mile radius was the arena area, containing over a hundred smaller arenas where multiple matches could take place simultaneously.

As the elimination rounds progressed and more Disciples were eliminated, these smaller arenas would combine to form one large arena.

It was entirely grayish-white, with the ground made of flat, hard grayish-white snow rock.

Around the arena, orderly pavilions were built for guests to watch from.

To prevent the aftermath of the battles in the arena from impacting the surrounding buildings, a Formation would be activated around the arena, enveloping it when battles began.

Behind the arena, Jiang Lanzhi vaguely felt her strength suddenly surge three days ago.

Without any warning, it was a sudden increase in strength; she found it a bit strange, and only the One Heart, One Body technique could explain it.

“Xiao Fan must be cultivating diligently. He’s so good; afraid my strength isn’t stable, he specifically cultivated hard to increase my strength.”

Xiao Fan, cultivating diligently…

That wasn’t wrong, actually.

Achoo…

Xiao Fan rubbed his nose, wondering who was secretly praising his handsomeness again.

He sat in the pavilion, gazing into the distance at the arena below.

In the arena, a beautiful Female Elder in red slowly descended into the center.

With spiritual power mixed with a sound wave, the Female Elder in red spoke loudly: “Welcome, Fellow Daoists, to our Hundred Flowers Holy Land to jointly witness the emergence of the Saintess.”

“Without further ado, let’s begin.”

As soon as she finished speaking, she retreated from the field, allowing the Disciples to enter and begin the elimination rounds.

Xiao Fan was quite satisfied with her opening remarks.

He had expected a long, tasteless, yet regrettable monologue.

Talking about the long history of the Hundred Flowers Holy Land, the historical background of the Saintess assessment, the assessment rules and precautions, then introducing the various Elders, the guests, and finally inviting the Hundred Flowers Holy Master to say a few words.

Going through a whole process before getting to the main point.

He didn’t expect that the Hundred Flowers Holy Land would gloss over all topics with a single introduction and go straight to the main point; that was good.

Beside Xiao Fan were two Disciples from the Hundred Flowers Holy Land, acting as his guides, answering his questions and clearing his doubts. This was a special privilege of the Hundred Flowers Holy Land, and only people of a certain status could enjoy this treatment.

Xiao Fan watched the arena, where hundreds of matches were taking place simultaneously.

He was a bit puzzled, were there that many people?

“Are all the people from your Holy Land so confident? Why are so many people participating in the Saintess assessment?”

He glanced over and saw at least five or six hundred Female Disciples.

A Disciple from the Hundred Flowers Holy Land beside him replied:

“Your Highness Saint, you are unaware.”

“Actually, many of our Senior Sisters and Junior Sisters in the Hundred Flowers Holy Land had foresight, especially after you shouted: ‘No one can be this Saintess except Lan Zhi Senior Sister.’ The vast majority of people gave up on the idea of this Saintess position.”

“Yes, they are not participating for the Saintess position.”

“Oh?” Xiao Fan was puzzled, then what was it for?

Regarding Xiao Fan’s confusion, they explained:

“Saint, you are unaware, this Saintess assessment actually has another deeper meaning.”

Deeper meaning? Isn’t it just selecting a Saintess? Is there another meaning?

“It seems the Saint knows very little about our Hundred Flowers Holy Land,” a Female Disciple from the Hundred Flowers Holy Land said with a smile.

“There is only one Saintess, but our Hundred Flowers Holy Land has countless Disciples. Senior Sisters and Junior Sisters showcase themselves in the arena, making it easier for people to see their strength and talent.”

“There are many forces present, and quite a few young Prodigies. Perhaps they can find good Dao Companions.”

With that explanation, Xiao Fan understood.

The Hundred Flowers Holy Land’s survival principle was to form marriage alliances with various forces. Did this Saintess assessment, inviting so many forces, truly only serve as a viewing ceremony?

More than that, it was to find a home for the Female Disciples.

After all, those who achieve Immortal Ascension are few. Most Female Disciples spend their entire lives hovering between the Nascent Soul and Soul Transformation Stages. If they don’t find a Dao Companion while they are young, it will be difficult to find someone of equal status when their youth fades.

“It seems your Holy Land is quite good, knowing how to host a matchmaking event for your Disciples.”

“Matchmaking event, that’s not wrong to say.”

Xiao Fan roughly understood, making an analogy.

This Hundred Flowers Holy Land was like a women’s academy, with no men. Hosting the Saintess assessment and inviting various forces was to create an opportunity for everyone to find Dao Companions; whether they could seize it was up to them.

He looked around, not to mention anyone else, just the Elders and Disciples from Tai Xuan Holy Land beside him were cheering loudly.

“Holy cow, look at that person on Arena One, that technique is too big!”

“More than that, her skill is too white, long and white.”

“That Nascent Soul Stage - Middle Phase Female Disciple on Arena Eighteen, her chest technique is too fierce; one wave of surging tides directly knocked me out.”

“Damn it, be serious, where are your eyes looking?”

“That’s right, fist and foot combat. Look at those long legs, if she kicked me, I couldn’t block it at all.”

“Yes, if she used that surging tides move on me, I’d be down instantly.”

Xiao Fan was speechless, where was their image?

Each of them acted as if they had never seen a woman before, couldn’t they be a bit more serious!

Xiao Fan wasn’t that vulgar. After two rounds of combat with Jiang Lanzhi and Ji Qingxue, his heart was calm and undisturbed.

Such white moves, such long techniques! Such balls!

Although the Hundred Flowers Holy Land was comprised entirely of Female Disciples, their strength should not be underestimated. Almost every one of them possessed the ability to fight opponents above their own stage, though the stage difference was relatively small.

Moreover, their combat was not like mortal women, pulling clothes, grabbing hair, or using the old three tricks of hitting vital parts. Instead, it involved various immortal techniques, dazzling the eyes.

The combat between beautiful women was always pleasing to the eye.

The Disciple from the Hundred Flowers Holy Land beside Xiao Fan said:

“Saint, that’s Lan Zhi Senior Sister, look.”

Following the direction she pointed, Xiao Fan looked over and saw Jiang Lanzhi’s graceful figure.

With One Heart, One Body, and a spiritual connection, Jiang Lanzhi turned and smiled, which Xiao Fan really liked.

In the arena, fighting against Jiang Lanzhi was a short-haired girl, her nimble beautiful eyes sparkling, a smile on her lips.

She smiled and said, “Lan Zhi Senior Sister, I’m afraid I can’t beat you, please go easy on me.”

Jiang Lanzhi returned her smile and said, “I will go easy on you.”

“Good, don’t hurt me, okay?” she said with a laugh.

Jiang Lanzhi’s special status naturally drew countless gazes.

“Is that the Saintess candidate?”

“I heard she’s the Taixuan Holy Son’s fiancée, she must be a Prodigy.”

“Yes, she’ll definitely win, it’s just a matter of how many moves it will take her to finish.”

“I guess within ten moves.”

“I guess within three moves. If I’m wrong, I’ll give the person upstairs a wedgie.”

“I guess five moves. If I’m wrong, the two floors above get a French kiss.”

Jiang Lanzhi stood on the stage. She did not use any techniques. With One Heart, One Body, she also gained Xiao Fan’s powerful Physical Body strength.

“I wonder how Xiao Fan cultivated to make his Physical Body so strong.” Her jade hands clenched, and a surge of immense power emanated.

“Lan Zhi Senior Sister, watch out, if my ‘Maidenly Adorable Punch’ lands on your face, don’t cry, okay?”

The Maiden’s tender, pure jade hand was tightly clenched into a small jade fist. Her short hair was neat and clean, and her innocent pretty face showed extreme seriousness.

Although Jiang Lanzhi was powerful, she never let down her guard against enemies.

She had learned about her opponent: the girl-like Disciple opposite her, a Nascent Soul Stage - Middle Phase Cultivator, had once single-handedly beaten a Soul Transformation Stage - Early Stage female tiger demon to death!

In other words, she was even more terrifying than a female tiger!

The fierce punch whistled, arriving in an instant. From the moment the punch was thrown until it reached Jiang Lanzhi’s face, it was but a blink of an eye.

Jiang Lanzhi remained unhurried, placing her jade hands in front of her, perfectly blocking the attack.

The Maiden was stunned, her playful face completely devoid of childishness, replaced by seriousness and solemnity.

Her innocent face easily led people to mistakenly believe she was a delicate, weak woman.

And she didn’t use techniques, using fist arts could better mislead the enemy.

To strike by surprise.

But she didn’t expect Jiang Lanzhi to be stronger than she imagined.

With a bang.

Her punch collided with Jiang Lanzhi, and a faint, sharp pain transmitted through it.

Hiss!

Her Physical Body is actually not inferior to mine.

The Maiden wanted to retract her fist, but Jiang Lanzhi didn’t give her a chance. With a grasp of her jade hand, she firmly seized her fist, making it impossible to break free.

She wasn’t tall, and Jiang Lanzhi simply lifted her, causing her feet to leave the ground.

She was a bit bewildered, what kind of technique was this?

The next moment, Jiang Lanzhi flew through the air, heading to the edge of the arena.

She seemed to understand what was happening. Her two jade feet swayed in the air, and her other hand tried to push, wanting Jiang Lanzhi to let her go.

“Lan Zhi Senior Sister, you can’t do this, let me down, let’s have a proper fight.”

Her two jade feet kept swaying in the air, with no point of leverage, looking somewhat alluring.

Not just her, even the spectators were bewildered.

What kind of move was this?

“Hey, hey, hey, she’s not going to try to win that way, is she?”

“It seems that in this arena assessment, being forced off the arena counts as a loss.”

Without surprise, at the edge of the arena, Jiang Lanzhi opened her hand and pressed down on her head. She had no power to resist and fell off the stage.

This made her very depressed; losing was too frustrating.

“The winner of this match is Jiang Lanzhi.”

“Thank you for the concession,” Jiang Lanzhi said with a smile.

She also forced a smile and said bitterly:

“Lan Zhi Senior Sister, you are too strong. You and the Taixuan Holy Son are a match made in heaven, a perfect match, a Heavenly Immortal match. Love you, hehe.”

These remarks instantly ignited the lust of countless male Cultivators.

“She’s too cute.”

“Within half an hour, I want all her information.”

“Such a cute girl, if you punched her, she’d probably cry for a long time.”

“Holy cow, when it comes to being a beast, it’s still you.”

No one was surprised by Jiang Lanzhi’s victory.

After all, the Taixuan Holy Son was no ordinary person, how could he possibly get engaged to an ordinary person? She had to be a Prodigy!

“Oh? Such strong Physical Body strength.” White Windflow also noticed Jiang Lanzhi.

Although it was only one punch, his eyesight was still very sharp.

If he could capture her and bring her back, the Witch God Meie would have a Physical Body to inhabit.

Xiao Fan watched Jiang Lanzhi’s movements, somewhat surprised; she was too gentle.

Suddenly, a Female Elder from the Hundred Flowers Holy Land walked over and said to Xiao Fan:

“Young Lord Xiao, our Hundred Flowers Holy Master has come out of seclusion and wishes to meet you.”

Huh? Young Lord Xiao!

This title carried too much information.

He had come here as the Taixuan Holy Son, yet she called him by his Family name.

The Hundred Flowers Holy Master. He couldn’t help but think of the romantic debts his old man owed. Could it be that she wanted to collect them from him?

This…

“Young Lord Xiao?”

“Oh, what would the Holy Master like to say?”

“Nothing, she just said she wanted to meet you.”

“Alright, lead the way.”

With a nervous heart, Xiao Fan followed the Female Elder. He wanted to see how his old man had managed to charm the Hundred Flowers Holy Master into such a state of infatuation.
