Global Awakening: I'm the Only One Ready

The Celestial Court had been established for some time now.

However, from the perspective of the entire cosmos, its history was exceedingly short.

Even so, everyone knew the Celestial Court would eventually become a major power and raise the Milky Way Starfield to prominence throughout the universe. It was led by Lu Yuan, after all.

Its members were also remarkably gifted. In so little time after the Awakening first started, one after another had already reached the Sage Realm.

The Celestial Soldiers and Celestial Generals possessed extraordinary potential. In many people’s eyes, even without Lu Yuan, the Celestial Court’s future would be anything but ordinary. Given enough time, it would amass tremendous power. After all, Earth was now the land of the Great Age.

The beings from the Outer Cosmos understood this well. Many had come hoping to claim the Great Age’s Providence and use it to strengthen themselves, their races, and their starfields.

Instead, Earth had produced an invincible expert like Lu Yuan, and now the Celestial Court’s core leaders were entering the Immortal Realm one after another.

Crossing into the Immortal Realm marked a fundamental divide in cultivation.

The Celestial Court could now truly compete with the powers of the universe.

Yet with the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons emerging, countless starfields and perhaps the entire universe faced a growing crisis. Rivalries between factions no longer occupied anyone’s thoughts.

However, since the demons had not fully descended, attention remained fixed on the Celestial Court and how far it might grow before they arrived.

Lu Yuan remained atop Jade Emperor Peak, using the Celestial Emperor’s Ancient Token to draw forth Providence and bestow it upon each person according to their needs.

The effects were excellent. He could now control a vast amount of the power of Providence.

With the Celestial Emperor’s Ancient Token assisting him, the process went smoothly. More importantly, after Zhu Qingyu and the others entered the Immortal Realm, they could bear far more Providence than before. He could continue strengthening them whenever he wished.

Lu Yuan discovered something else as well. Once his control over Providence reached a sufficiently high level, he could use it to raise a person’s cultivation directly. The recipient would suffer no backlash or damage to their cultivation base, as though they had reached that realm through their own efforts.

The discovery shocked Lu Yuan and deepened his understanding of Providence.

”So conferring gods is not merely a figure of speech. When that day comes, I will truly be able to do it.”

The thought left even Lu Yuan deeply moved.

The ability to raise another person’s cultivation directly was astonishing. It was akin to seizing the creative power of the world itself.

He could not accomplish it yet. His cultivation was insufficient, and he had not gathered all the Celestial Emperor’s Ancient Tokens. Once both conditions were met, matters would be entirely different. For now, there was no reason to dwell on it.

He continued bestowing Providence upon the Celestial Court’s members.

The Investiture Edict now held many names. With the Jiang Clan disciples included, describing them as one hundred thousand Celestial Soldiers and Celestial Generals would not be an exaggeration. Strengthening them all would take time.

Whether he would continue conferring titles afterward was something Lu Yuan had not considered for the moment.

For now, he only wanted to make his people stronger.

Time passed.

With Lu Yuan channeling Providence into them day and night, members of the Celestial Court broke through in rapid succession. Those in the Immortal Realm remained few, but their numbers continued to grow.

At the peak of this surge, one hundred Sages emerged in a single day.

This was practically a miracle. When the Outer Cosmos beings heard the news, they could hardly believe it.

They had struggled bitterly to attain their cultivation, yet the Celestial Court seemed to produce breakthroughs with ease. At this rate, how long would it be before the Celestial Court rivaled the top hundred starfields and began challenging the top ten?

Discussions spread everywhere, and everyone knew Lu Yuan was responsible for these changes.

They could not understand how he possessed such an ability.

The beings of the various starfields that had once been enemies of the Celestial Court regretted it deeply after learning about this.

They understood that submitting to the two factions had been a mistake. The Celestial Court’s relentless growth was enough to unsettle every race watching it.

In the future, if Lu Yuan wanted to settle those old grudges, what would they do?

But regret was useless now. They could only stare helplessly.

Nor did any of them consider attacking while the Celestial Court was still growing. Lu Yuan was already a Celestial Seat Immortal, and the Celestial Court itself had become formidable. Attacking now would be suicide. Their only option was to keep a low profile and hope Lu Yuan forgot about them.

The Celestial Court was elated. In a short time, its overall strength had soared.

Even those Jiang Clan disciples had benefited, because their names were also on the Investiture Edict.

Some had reached heights they had never imagined through the blessing of Providence.

They knew exactly who had made their progress possible.

Jiang Ningxian also witnessed the changes. She knew the Celestial Emperor’s Ancient Token and the Investiture Edict contained unfathomable power, but even she had not expected such dramatic results.

What will happen if Lu Yuan gathers all the Celestial Emperor’s Ancient Tokens? Will he really become the Celestial Emperor and be able to confer gods at will?

Even Jiang Ningxian found the possibility difficult to believe. She had only ever read of such things in ancient texts, yet they now seemed poised to become reality. Even someone of her stature found the prospect astonishing.

However, during this period, Jiang Ningxian did not disturb Lu Yuan.

She knew he had his own plans. Many things could wait until everything was over.

Strengthening the Celestial Court before considering the next step was the soundest approach.

More than a month passed.

On Jade Emperor Peak, Lu Yuan finally withdrew his aura.

He sensed the cultivation of everyone recorded in the Investiture Edict and smiled, then sent a voice transmission asking Jiang Ningxian to join him.
