Global Awakening: I'm the Only One Ready

The Breathing Technique and the Visualization Method could do more than promote one’s cultivation. They had other uses as well, such as adjusting one’s state and repairing injuries.

Because the previous battle had damaged Lu Yuan’s foundation, he would need more time this time.

But that was fine. With gain, there would be loss. Even he could not guarantee that he would crush his opponent in every battle. Being injured was very normal.

Moreover, it was also because of this battle that he had finally grasped the condition needed to break through the barrier of the Celestial Seat Immortal Realm.

Thus, it was still very worthwhile. At least, that was how he saw it.

He began circulating both the Breathing Technique and the Visualization Method. Lu Yuan’s aura also began to spread, and golden blood qi flowed outward.

However, his blood qi was no longer pure gold this time. The might they exuded was even stronger than before.

Just like that, time passed bit by bit.

Finally, after an unknown length of time, Lu Yuan felt that both his physique and soul had reached a certain perfect state. His damaged foundation had been completely repaired. There were no longer any problems.

He opened his eyes, a trace of a smile appearing in them. He had originally thought that repairing his injuries during this seclusion would take a very long time. However, it seemed he had worried too much. It was much faster than he had expected.

Moreover, he was even stronger than before, and this was before he had even broken through.

Of course, Lu Yuan did not care much about that. What he looked forward to was beginning his true seclusion after completely recovering from his injuries, comprehending the Celestial Seat laws, and advancing to the Celestial Seat Immortal Realm.

Even so, Lu Yuan was in no hurry. He remained very steady.

He first examined the Celestial Emperor’s Ancient Token and the Investiture Edict. After sensing that he could use even more power of Providence, he thought for a moment.

Then he once again strengthened the Providence of those whose true names were written on the edict.

The focus was naturally Zhu Qingyu, Ice Fairy, and the others, since they were the core of the Celestial Court. Giving them more Providence could also allow their growth to be unrestricted.

Lu Yuan thought that perhaps soon enough, Immortals might appear within the Celestial Court.

Of course, he could not sense that right now.

After finishing all this, Lu Yuan took a deep breath, focused his mind, and prepared to begin the actual seclusion.

Once he was ready, in the next instant, he felt as though he had entered a void. Everything seemed to cease existing.

It was unlike before, when he had stood above heaven and earth, within the universe, watching countless galaxies be born and perish.

This time, he was in an endless void and could sense almost nothing. This was the process of comprehending the Celestial Seat law.

Lu Yuan knew he had to possess enough patience. He once again activated the Breathing Technique and the Visualization Method.

He began adapting to everything while observing this void. It was as if the next instant had arrived, and also as if ten thousand ages had passed.

A violent peal of thunder suddenly exploded.

Lu Yuan saw a bolt of lightning appear in this void world, as though it had come from ancient times, bringing a trace of light to the entire world.

Immediately after came the appearance of some stars, though there were not many of them.

The Celestial Seat laws. The beginning of all things, and the end of all things.

Abruptly, such a thought appeared in Lu Yuan’s mind.

This did not mean that he was understanding the origin of the universe. Rather, it was a kind of comprehension, allowing him to discover what the so-called Celestial Seat laws actually were.

During this process, Lu Yuan began to understand.

The Celestial Seat stood above all things. It could be understood as the universe’s most primordial state.

After reaching the Immortal Realm, cultivation meant understanding laws and then using them. Thus, cultivation would inevitably become slower, though the benefits gained would be even greater.

Lu Yuan sank into it. The light around him also began to blaze, yet it was not dazzling. Everything was peaceful.

Time flowed by in silence.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the cosmos, on Earth within the Milky Way Starfield, the Celestial Court had taken control of everything after Lu Yuan left.

The core members of the Celestial Court were Zhu Qingyu and the others from back then. While cultivating, they also managed the situation. In short, no major problems had arisen.

Lu Yuan’s reputation was still there. Even if some Outer Cosmos beings had other thoughts, they had to force those thoughts down. Otherwise, who knew what kind of disaster they might incur upon themselves?

However, as time passed, things began to change, because many people learned that Lu Yuan had left for the depths of the universe. The current Celestial Court had no powerful expert holding the fort.

Because of this, many people inevitably developed other ideas. But soon enough, those ideas were suppressed again.

News had come from the depths of the cosmos.

Lu Yuan had gone to the Celestial Star and it seemed he had wiped out the entire Celestials.

The moment this news emerged, the various Outer Cosmos beings were shaken and found it difficult to believe.

Many people knew that there was a grudge between the Celestials and Lu Yuan but that was from a very long time ago.

Under normal circumstances, the matter would simply have ended there. Who would have thought that the Celestials would actually be completely erased? What did this mean? It meant that Lu Yuan bore grudges very well. If they attacked the Celestial Court while he was away, what would happen?

Once Lu Yuan returned, he would definitely not let the matter rest. Thus, the various races became much more obedient in an instant.

The news was naturally Jiang Ningxian’s deliberate work. She knew that with Lu Yuan absent from Earth, the various races no longer felt intimidated.

Even if they would not act openly, they would definitely target the Celestial Court from the shadows. It was therefore necessary to apply a suitable deterrent.

So she directly spread the news that the Celestials had been destroyed. This was precisely her purpose.

Of course, she also wanted to see what the Eternals and the Ji Clan thought. However, that was only a secondary aim. Whether it produced anything did not matter. But it did make the Outer Cosmos beings on Earth thoroughly behave themselves.

”King Lu has unknowingly protected us once again,” Ice Fairy sighed inside Mount Tai after hearing the news.

Beside her were Gu Sang, Zhu Qingyu, Young Celestial Master Chunyang, and the others. They were all core figures of the Celestial Court.

When Earth had just experienced the first Awakening, they had once been ranked alongside Lu Yuan. Of course, that was all from a very long time ago.

”Not only that, the power of Providence supporting us is even stronger than before. Clearly, even in the depths of the universe, King Lu is still finding ways to protect us,” Young Celestial Master Chunyang said, looking at everyone.

Everyone present nodded. Naturally, they could sense the increase in the power of Providence.

”So we must also cultivate diligently and continue strengthening the Celestial Court,” Zhu Qingyu said, her eyes shining with determination.

After Lu Yuan left, she put all her energy into cultivation and managing the Celestial Court.

Because in her heart, she knew very clearly that one day, he would return.
