Fully Leveled Bigshot Becomes A Farmgirl

Chapter 1517: Chapter 1517: All Settled

Wei Ronghua was a bit embarrassed by her laughter. He had indeed thought about returning to the prefecture, and he had always been waiting for this day.

Therefore, when he left the prefecture back then, he rented out his house, and the last tenant just vacated two months ago. Originally, he wanted to ask a friend to find a new tenant, but unexpectedly, he heard news from Old Master Miao.

He saw it as an opportunity and asked a friend to find someone to clean the house, so now when he returns, he’ll have a place to settle down.

Shu Yu withdrew her gaze, “Alright, as long as Manager Wei is aware. Oh, by the way, there is already a staff member in the shop. His name is Ren Yiping, a staff member from Lu’s Shop in Jiangyuan County. He is quite agile, articulate, and a skilled worker. However, one staff member is not enough for the shop, so another needs to be hired. I’ll leave this matter to Manager Wei to handle, to recruit before the opening and provide some simple guidance.”

Wei Ronghua nodded, “No problem.”

“There’s still half a month, Manager Wei, and this half month will not be easy for you. Thank you for your hard work.”

Wei Ronghua laughed. Having something to do is always better than having nothing to do.

Moreover, Village Chief Lu actually gave him a lot of authority to exert his abilities, which made him feel full of energy.

Shu Yu said almost everything she needed to say, and seeing that it was getting late, she planned to head back.

Wei Ronghua quickly stood up and said, “It’s almost noon; why don’t you stay for lunch before leaving, boss?”

Shu Yu waved her hand, “No, I have to hurry back home.”

Tomorrow is the Mid-Autumn Festival, and she didn’t want to delay another night here; she’d better go back early.

Seeing that she was indeed in a hurry, Wei Ronghua didn’t insist further, and the two of them walked out of the living room together.

Hearing the commotion on this side, a few people picking vegetables in the courtyard turned their heads.

Wu Fengyuan stood up, patted his hands, and smiled, “Village Chief Lu, have you finished talking?”

“Yes, Manager Wei will be a capable general for Lu’s in the future.”

Wu Fengyuan congratulated them and, seeing that Shu Yu was about to leave, naturally didn’t hold them back.

Wei Ronghua escorted the two to the door and even gave them two large baskets of vegetables.

Since they were about to return to the prefecture, everything at home had to be tidied up.

As soon as Shu Yu and the others stepped out the door, Hu Geng and Wei Fangfang eagerly looked at Wei Ronghua. The latter smiled and said, “Alright, let’s cook lunch first. We’ll pack up in the afternoon, and after the Mid-Autumn Festival tomorrow, we will return to the prefecture.”

The two immediately jumped up in excitement, and their cheering spread far away, even reaching Shu Yu, who had already walked out of the alley.

She smiled and turned to look at Wu Fengyuan, only to find that he seemed in a very good mood, even carrying the vegetable basket himself.

Curious, Shu Yu asked, “Young Master Wu seems to have just encountered a particularly happy event?”

Wu Fengyuan laughed and finally handed the vegetable basket to the attendant behind him, “It is indeed a happy event. After all, like Village Chief Lu, I have also found a talented individual.”

Shu Yu was puzzled, “Hmm?”

“Actually, I came to the Wei family this time specifically for Hu Geng. I wanted to ask him to work for me at the ranch.”

Shu Yu was even more surprised. To be honest, when she first saw Wu Fengyuan following along to the Wei family, she thought he had something to discuss with her and was waiting on purpose.

But unexpectedly, it wasn’t?

Wu Fengyuan said, “Hu Geng’s hometown is on the grasslands; he grew up on horseback from birth and is very talented, as well as skilled at horse training.”
