Fully Leveled Bigshot Becomes A Farmgirl

Chapter 1390: Chapter 1390: He Actually Fanned Her Himself

Aunt He guessed in her heart, but her hands moved gently and swiftly, and soon she had applied the medicine to Shu Yu.

Then she brought hot water to wipe her body. After riding a horse all day in such hot weather, her body was sticky.

But since she applied medicine, she couldn’t take a bath and could only wipe down.

Shu Yu tidied her clothes, feeling cool and refreshed, and rested for a while, feeling much more comfortable.

“Thank you, Aunt He.”

Aunt He hurriedly waved her hand, “No need, no need, Miss, well, you should rest first, I’ll go out and make you something to eat. Just tell me what you want.”

Shu Yu smiled, “No trouble, Yun has already started cooking.”

Aunt He was stunned for a moment, Yun? Young Master Meng!!

She suddenly widened her eyes, “This, this won’t do.” She was hired to do laundry and cook, how could she let the host family do it themselves after taking the wages, “I’ll go, I’ll go.”

Shu Yu couldn’t stop her in time and saw Aunt He already running out with a washbasin.

Shu Yu, “…”

Aunt He hurried to the kitchen and saw Meng Yunzheng had already cooked a bowl of noodles with two poached eggs, sprinkled with scallions, looking particularly tempting, seemingly even better than her own cooking.

She was stunned for a moment, “Young Master Meng, you, you can cook?”

“When you’re out, you must know a bit,” Meng Yunzheng said, picking up the already cooked shredded meat on the table and leaving.

Aunt He hurriedly followed, but Meng Yunzheng suddenly stopped, turned his head, and said, “By the way, could I trouble Aunt to also apply medicine to the maid beside Yu and prepare some food for her?”

He hadn’t prepared much, only enough for Yu to eat.

Aunt He was still dazed, nodding quickly in agreement.

Meng Yunzheng carried the tray back to the room and without needing Shu Yu to move, he almost fed her mouthful by mouthful.

Shu Yu leaned against the headboard, with a thick quilt behind her back, and sighed comfortably.

“Full?” Meng Yunzheng saw her forehead sweating after eating and took a fan to fan her.

Shu Yu felt even more comfortable, “Full and comfortable, I want to sleep.”

“Sleep, tomorrow I’ll take you to see the Dongqing Temple master, we’ll talk about the temple master on the way.”

Shu Yu opened her mouth, but really didn’t have the energy to ask more, closed her eyes, and fell into a deep sleep amidst the gentle sound of the fan swinging.

Meng Yunzheng fanned for another quarter-hour, and only left after seeing her fall asleep.

Aunt He had already taken care of Ying Xi and was washing their clothes in the yard.

However, she seemed a bit absent-minded, frequently peeking towards Meng Yunzheng’s room.

Xia Yan came over, smiling, “What are you looking at?”

Aunt He was usually a person of few words, but this time she couldn’t help herself, and asked in a low voice, “Young Xia, is the lady inside really Young Master Meng’s fiancée? I’ve never seen Young Master Meng treat anyone so well before, doing everything himself. Just now I accidentally glanced, and the young master was even personally fanning Lady Lu.”

That’s the Top Scorer, the future local scholar, usually looks so indifferent, unexpectedly so meticulous and thoughtful.

Not only personally cooking, but also fanning?

This task, isn’t it usually the wife who does it for the husband? She and her man had been married for decades, and he had never treated her so well. It was always him shouting cold or hot, asking her to add clothes or fan him.

Xia Yan squatted nearby, chuckled, “Is that all? Then you haven’t seen our young master in other ways.”
