Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 3104: Chapter 3113: Comforting Her with Delicious Food

In the upscale little apartment in Mirror Lake City, the family doctor did a simple check on Olivia Lewis’s shoulder gunshot wound and re-applied medication to it.

After bandaging it, the doctor put away his medicine box and, smiling, said to the concerned man beside him, ”President Sinclair, Ms. Lewis’s wound is nothing serious, just a slight tear. The wound was healing well before, now part of it is torn, but after re-bandaging for two days, it will be fine. Ms. Lewis still needs to be a bit careful, though, not to let the wound tear open again in these two days, or it will be troublesome.”

”Hmm, thank you, doctor.” After thanking him, Olivia Lewis sent the doctor out.

As she returned, she saw the elegant and wealthy man lowering his gaze, unbuttoning his shirt sleeves and rolling them up, revealing a strong and powerful forearm.

Olivia Lewis blinked warily and kept her distance from him, ”Damn, why are you rolling up your sleeves? Don’t tell me, after everything your ex-girlfriend did to me, you’re still looking to settle accounts with me.”

Adam Sinclair, ”...”

After rolling up his sleeves, he walked towards her. Olivia Lewis swiftly dodged aside, as if he was really going to do something, making Adam Sinclair’s temple pulse twice. His mouth twitched as he said, ”When have I ever settled accounts with you? You must not have eaten much today after filming all day, what do you want to eat tonight? I’ll make it for you.”

”So good?” Olivia Lewis looked suspicious.

Adam Sinclair glanced at her indifferently, leisurely brushed past her towards the fridge, saying, ”You’ve got three minutes, hurry up and decide. Otherwise, I’ll cook according to my taste.”

He rarely cooked, but had hidden culinary skills.

Remembering the last time he personally made a table full of dishes, Olivia Lewis salivated uncontrollably and decided to eat first and talk later, ”I want stir-fried shrimp with scallion, spicy crayfish, garlic scallops, boiled beef slices... and a serving of fish fillet porridge.”

Listening to the list she rattled off, Adam Sinclair helplessly asked, ”Can you finish all that?”

Olivia Lewis shrugged frankly, ”No, I just want to taste a bit of everything, get a thrill. Anyway, if I’m eating, I definitely need to indulge to make it worthwhile.”

Because of filming, she had to strictly control her diet recently. Heaven knows how long it’s been since she last had spicy food; just mentioning boiled pork slices and crayfish made her mouth water.

Since Adam Sinclair was going to make her delicious food, she surely chose to eat what she most wanted. It’s best to eat all she craves, otherwise it’d be a waste of the upcoming weight gain!

Adam Sinclair helplessly opened the fridge, took out what he could use, and told her, ”Your shoulder is still injured, you can’t eat foods that cause inflammation. Seafood and the like fall into that category, you can’t eat them. Spicy foods are also in the range of things you can’t eat.”

Olivia Lewis slumped onto the sofa, like a wilting eggplant, weakly complaining, ”Then what’s the point of saying anything? I’m not eating then, I’ll just stick to my sugar-free oatmeal...”

The most painful thing in the world is when a woman is dieting, and because she couldn’t resist eating a couple bites of white rice, all the hungry effort of the past week was wasted.

Since she couldn’t eat anything tasty, she’d rather not eat and keep starving. At least that way she can maintain her figure and look good on camera.

Seeing her feeble demeanor, Adam Sinclair didn’t know why, but despite knowing she couldn’t eat, he couldn’t help but relent, ”You can eat if you want, just not too much.”
