A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1545: From Deep Within

Archer approached the town once the cannons were destroyed, and smoke billowed into the air as the women made their way toward the command center. When he entered through the broken gates, some of the surviving soldiers rushed at him, only to be killed by a Mana Blast that burrowed through their chests.

Bodies fell all around him, shocking the citizens, but he ignored them and headed deeper into town. Alliance soldiers lay all over the place as the Dark Wraith and Demon Shark brutalized the army stationed here. By the time the fighting stopped, the two women were out of breath, and he found them resting in the town square.

Demetra splashed her face with the water from the fountain they sat at, as Aeris beamed when seeing him. ʼʼArch!ʼʼ

She rushed toward him and wrapped her arms around his shoulders after jumping up. Archer quickly caught her, making the shark woman giggle in amusement. Once the greetings were done, he commented. ʼʼDo you two want to head back to Draconia? I donʼt want to fight on our journey.ʼʼ

They nodded in agreement, and he opened a portal back to the palace. He stepped through first, the women trailing close behind, leaving a trail of chaos in their wake. Upon arriving, he made a beeline for his daughters, prompting amused laughter from Aeris and Demetra as they followed, eager to meet the girls.

Within moments, he was standing outside a bedroom door and heard adorable giggling echoing out from the other side. Archer opened it, only for it to go quiet when six pairs of eyes landed on him. Two more lit up with happiness as Sia jumped up, rushed over only to kiss him.

Leira did the same thing, but his head was fully there as Freya gazed up at him, a big, chubby smile stretched across her face. He vanished and reappeared in front of the girls, shocking them all but making them happy as he kissed each one on the forehead. ʼʼHello, my precious ladies, I missed all of you,ʼʼ he whispered, his voice full of love.

Freya let out an excited squeak as he scooped her into his arms and rubbed his nose against hers, whispering. ʼʼThank you for pulling me back, my little star, without you, I might have been lost to that rage.ʼʼ

The white-haired little girl attempted to cuddle him, but her arms were too small, so she nuzzled into his neck, making his smile grow even wider as he did the same to the other babies until all six were in his arms. This shocked their mothers as Leira commented, beaming. ʼʼIʼm glad I was right about you, husband. I knew youʼd be a great father.ʼʼ

ʼʼDamn right,ʼʼ Sia suddenly exclaimed. ʼʼI knew from the day I told him I was pregnant that heʼd be the best.ʼʼ

Archer couldnʼt help but smile as Kela and Neoma hugged him as Freya pushed Evelyn, Elise, and Amelia toward him. The three babies hugged his chest after putting down the twins, allowing him to hug each one and pepper their faces with love-filled kisses, making the three laugh.

This sight made Demetra and Aeris smile. The wraith woman cheerfully spoke. ʼʼLooks like they adore you, would you be the same with our children?ʼʼ

ʼʼOf course, Iʼll cherish and care for all my children equally,ʼʼ Archer declared warmly, his voice brimming with affection.

He leaned forward, gently booping Evelyn on the nose, a playful grin crossing his face, eliciting a bright giggle from the little girl that echoed through the room. Her cat-like ears twitched with delight, perking upright as her fluffy tail swished back and forth in a rhythm of pure excitement.

Her wide, sparkling green eyes met his, and the sight of her unbridled joy tugged at Archerʼs heart. He couldnʼt suppress the broad smile that spread across his face, his love for her radiating in the tender moment they shared. Without waiting, he pampered the others, making them squeal in happiness.

Just then, Archer was dragged away from the scene, only to appear in front of Maeve, who looked battered. His senses flared to life as he grabbed a manʼs fist that was aimed at his orange-haired beautyʼs face. With a primal roar, he lunged, his jaws snapping shut, tearing the manʼs head clean off in a spray of crimson.

The severed head rolled across the blood-soaked ground, eyes frozen in shock. The surrounding enemies went still, their faces paling as dread seized their hearts. Archer, unhinged and untamed, reveled in the carnage. His eyes burned with feral wrath as he tore into the Alliance fools like a storm of death.

Claws flashed, limbs fell, and screams were silenced in a whirlwind of slaughter. Unfazed by the chaos, Archer carved through their ranks, leaving a trail of broken bodies and shattered hopes in his wake, a force of vengeance unleashed. Maeve stood there, wide grey eyes taking in the scene.

ʼʼThey shouldʼve known better than to attack an Dragon Empress!ʼʼ she snarled, her voice dripping with venomous glee.

The sight of her husband, Archer, tearing through the fools who dared to cross her sent a surge of exhilaration coursing through her veins. She reveled in the brutal spectacle, her heart pounding with a savage thrill as blood painted the ground and screams filled the air.

Maeve moved like a storm, a blur as she joined Archer in the fray.

Her blade, an extension of her wrath, sang through the air, carving through enemy soldiers. Each swing severed limbs and broke armor as if it were paper. The Verdantia invasion had been a gamble, a daring plan to lure the Allianceʼs forces away from their strongholds in the other continents.

The plan had succeeded, too well, perhaps, as Maeve and her legions found themselves pinned down, surrounded by a never-ending tide of Alliance soldiers. But now, help had arrived in the form of her angry husband, living death. Archer stormed through the battlefield like a god of slaughter, unstoppable and merciless.

Maeveʼs grey eyes gleamed as she watched him crash into a group of Pseudo Gods, their auras crackling. Without hesitation, he seized their leader, a towering figure radiating divine energy, and tore him apart with his bare hands. The Pseudo Godʼs body split like kindling, fragments scattering as his comrades stood paralyzed.

Their faces drained of color, unable to comprehend the carnage. Archerʼs wrath was a force of nature, and Maeve fought at his side, their blades and fury weaving a scene of devastation that would be sung of in legends for centuries.

Archer grabbed another powerhouse and bit right through her neck before letting out a wild roar. A portal opened, and a wave of monsters rushed out: Nightmare Ants, Broodmaws, Dark Termites, and many more. Vivienne and Varaliana appeared, ready to fight. The redheaded beauty caught the punch of a man and battered him away.

The blonde Chull Queen trampled through the enemy forces as Maeve joined him, breathing heavily and covered in blood. Archer smiled at the young woman, casting a healing spell over her to return her to full health.

ʼʼThank you handsome,ʼʼ she muttered in relief.

Archer inclined his head, his eyes gleaming with grim approval as the two queens unleashed their fury upon the last of the Alliance survivors. They cut down the remaining foes until the battlefield lay silent. The air hung heavy with the coppery tang of blood. Vivienne, her dress streaked with the grime of battle, was the first to stride forward.

A sly smirk curled the ant queenʼs lips, her deep red eyes alight with an intoxicating fire. Without a word, she closed the distance between them, seizing Archer by the collar, pulling him into a searing, passionate kiss that he happily returned, but a feeling forced him to push her away and turn around.

He unleashed a devastating punch, his fist slamming into the chest of a towering Pseudo God with force. The impact unleashed a shockwave that ripped through the air, hurling Maeve, Valariana, and Vivienne backward, their armored forms skidding across the blood-soaked earth.

The ground quaked beneath the blow, and Archer felt his bones shudder from the sheer power of the collision, his knuckles singing. The chaos erupted anew, sparked by the revelation that the Alliance armyʼs leader still drew breath. His eyes blazed with fury as he let out an earth-shattering roar that seemed to shake the heavens themselves.

From deep within, he summoned a torrent of violet flames, a seething, otherworldly inferno that spewed forth like a dragonʼs wrath. The blazing stream engulfed the battlefield, incinerating everything in its path, transforming the once-green Verdantia plains into a smoldering wasteland.

The Alliance forces wavered, their bravery shattered beneath the storm of his apocalyptic wrath. Nothing survived his rampage, like a supernova, he obliterated everything in his path, incinerating soldiers and Pseudo Gods alike.

Following that, Archer calmed down and turned to face the three women who were looking at him with wide eyes and hanging jaws, making him laugh.
