A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1517: Did You Like That, Neoma?

Archer noticed the young womanʼs cheeks flush at his words, and she quickly scurried off to collect his order, stealing glances at him and his daughters. Her reaction sparked a thought. ʼIt seems the whole empire knows of the four princesses.ʼ

He turned away, his mana adjusting to keep the twins secure while walking around the store until choosing a table by the window, where morning light streamed in, casting a warm glow over the polished wood.

ʼThis view is nice,ʼ he thought.

Archer gazed at the river coursing through Dragonheart, where ships glided. The cafe sat just meters from the waterʼs edge. With a wave of his hand, he carefully lowered Kela and Neoma into a pair of cushioned high chairs that a quick-thinking server had brought over.

The twins babbled happily, hands reaching toward the table as if they could already taste the treats. After settling into his chair, he leaned forward to murmur to the girls. ʼʼPatience, my little stars. The sweets will be here soon.ʼʼ

They smiled in response as he sat down and relaxed, only to notice the cafe buzzing thanks to the lively chatter happening all around them while staff members rushed around delivering orders to people.

This was only amplified by the twinsʼ gleeful squeals as they bounced around excited to be out. He occasionally saw the curious glances from other patrons, eyes drawn to the heartwarming trio.

Archer brushed them off, his focus entirely on his babies, sparkling eyes, and joyful wiggles. His heart warmed at this, small hands drumming a rhythm on the table, laughter echoing through the cozy cafe.

He leaned closer to the twins, his youngest, ensuring they were settled and content. To keep their spirits high, he began pulling exaggerated, silly faces, crossing his eyes, puffing out his cheeks, and sticking out his tongue in a comical grimace.

The twins burst into joyful giggles, delight overflowing as they clapped and big smiles appeared across the girlsʼ faces as he continued being silly. The duo was enchanted by his playful antics, and they savored every moment.

Soon, the babyʼs exuberance caught the eye of nearby patrons, who paused what they were doing. The peopleʼs faces alight with a blend of surprise and amusement at the charming spectacle.

The place was lit up thanks to the girlsʼ infectious laughter and Archerʼs playful antics. They turned the cafeʼs gentle atmosphere into heartwarming joy. After a while, the young woman reappeared, balancing a tray.

Her smile reflected the warmth of the moment as she approached. ʼʼHere you go, I hope you three enjoy your food,ʼʼ she said.

ʼʼThank you,ʼʼ he said, smiling at the young woman.

Afterward, Archer turned his attention to the twins, eager eyes fixed on the fluffy strawberry cakes. He gently scooped a small bite for Neoma, his silver-haired darling, and guided the spoon to her tiny mouth.

ʼʼHere you go,ʼʼ he said as she chomped down.

The moment the sweet, creamy flavor hit her tongue, the little girlʼs entire body quivered, her eyes sparkling like amethysts under the soft lights. A squeal of pure joy escaped her as she wiggled in her highchair, tiny hands flapping for more.

Archerʼs chuckle filled the air, his heart swelling as he spoke. ʼʼDid you like that, Neoma?ʼʼ

The silver-haired baby quickly nodded, causing him to laugh even more. After that, he glanced at Kela, his other precious twin, and offered her a bite. Her big, ruby-red eyes widened in fascination as she savored the treat, a quiet smile spreading across her face.

Though less bouncy than her sister, Kelaʼs gentle glow of contentment was just as endearing, her soft coos blending alongside Neomaʼs excited squeaks. The scene, framed by the cafeʼs warm atmosphere, drew fond glances from nearby patrons.

Following that, Archer noticed the young woman who had served him and called out. ʼʼExcuse me?ʼʼ

She stiffened, then turned to see the twins gobbling cake with their hands, faces covered in frosting, which drew a giggle. His smile broadened as he asked. ʼʼCan I get one of everything, please?ʼʼ

When the staff member heard this, she nodded in agreement as Archer handed over three gold coins as payment. The young woman rushed off as he sent a message to Sia and Leira. ʼCan I bring the other girls, please? I want things to be fair, my loves.ʼ

Within seconds, Leira answered first. ʼOf course, just donʼt feed her too much. Sheʼs still young.ʼ

ʼYes, Freya has been going mad and I need a break from the screaming,ʼ Siaʼs tired voice responded.

He chuckled and summoned his two daughters as Freya and Evelyn plopped down on the table. His eldest was crying until she spotted him, and a bright smile appeared on her adorable face.

Archer pulled the twins into a warm cuddle, their faces lighting up. When the young woman approached, her jaw dropped at the sight of the newcomers. A smile appeared. ʼʼSo the other princesses have joined! How will you carry them all?ʼʼ She commented.

Without a word, he used Mana Manipulation to gently lift the four babies. Neoma and Kela perched on his shoulders, Freya nestled against his head, leaning comfortably, while Evelyn rested in his arm, her chubby legs dangling.

This sight stunned the woman, who warmly introduced herself. ʼʼIʼm Saviah. Itʼs a pleasure to meet all five of you.ʼʼ

The little girls waved eagerly, prompting a hearty laugh from him as he introduced himself. ʼʼIʼm Archer, but you already knew that.ʼʼ

He proudly gestured to each baby. ʼʼThese darlings are Freya, Neoma, Kela, and Evelyn.ʼʼ

Saviah glanced between the four girls, curiosity in her eyes as she questioned. ʼʼThey have different mothers, I assume?ʼʼ

Archer shook his head, gently setting the girls down as he answered. ʼʼNeoma and Kela share the same mother, while Freya and Evelyn are from my other wives.ʼʼ

ʼʼIs there any jealousy?ʼʼ she asked.

ʼʼNo, because even though they have different mothers, the women treat each one like their own daughter since theyʼre my children,ʼʼ he explained.

Saviah nodded in understanding, then began unloading her trolley, filling the table with an array of dishes. Archer handed Freya and Evelyn small pieces of cake, carefully feeding them.

The two babies squealed, their eyes sparkling as they savored the sweet food. He beamed at the duoʼs joyful reactions, then turned to the twins, who were watching with wide, eager eyes.

He carefully broke off small pieces of cake for them, ensuring each got a taste of the new dishes. Neoma giggled as she smeared a bit of frosting on her cheek. Kela clapped her tiny hands, delighted by the flavor.

Archerʼs movements were gentle as he fed them, making sure no one felt left out. Saviah watched the scene from the side. The four girls nibbled happily on their treats, their faces glowing after each sweet bite.

As the sugary thrill faded, their energy ebbed. Freya let out a big yawn, her head resting heavily on his shoulder. Neomaʼs sleepy eyes blinked slowly as she rubbed them using her tiny fists.

Kela snuggled closer, her chubby fingers tightly gripping his shirt, while Evelynʼs eyelids drooped, her body curling into his arm. Archer chuckled softly, gently wiping crumbs from their faces.

One by one, he lifted the full and tired girls, first Freya, then Neoma, followed by Kela, and finally Evelyn, cradling them tenderly as they nestled against him, ready for a nap. ʼʼLooks like these princesses are ready for a nap,ʼʼ he said.

Saviah nodded, her expression softening. ʼʼTheyʼre adorable. Youʼve got your hands full, but you make it look easy.ʼʼ

Archer grinned, carefully adjusting the girls in his arms and on his shoulders. ʼʼItʼs a labor of love,ʼʼ he replied.

He stood, balancing the four sleepy girls, their snores signaling the end of their sweet adventure at the cafe. Moments later, he stepped outside after saying goodbye to Saviah, who held the door for him.

Following that, Archer stepped outside the cafe, the chilly air brushing against them. With a swift cast of Cosmic Shield, he blocked the wind, ensuring the girls stayed warm. Summoning his wings, he took flight toward the palace, the girls cradled securely in his arms.

While flying across Draconia, he noticed Freyaʼs eyes still open, peering up at him. He smiled gently and murmured. ʼʼGo to sleep, my little darling. Youʼll be in bed soon.ʼʼ

Just then, Archer teleported himself to Siaʼs room, where the Dragonkin woman was preparing to get into bed, but stopped when he saw him. She shook her head before greeting him. ʼʼHusband! How was your meal? Did the girls like it?ʼʼ

ʼʼThey enjoyed themselves,ʼʼ he revealed. ʼʼAte themselves into food comaʼs which is adorable.ʼʼ

Sia giggled as she took the sleeping Freya from Archerʼs arms. With a quick cast of Cleanse, he ensured the little white-haired angel was spotless. ʼʼSheʼs squeaky clean now,ʼʼ he said, grinning.

She beamed, planting a kiss on his cheek. He then teleported to Hecateʼs room, gently handing over the sleeping twins, Neoma and Kela, to her care, causing the Moon Elf to smile as she tucked them into their crib.
