A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1508: All together

Archer continued spending time with Freya, but the peace was short-lived. A faint, unnatural chill crept into the air. His senses sharpened as he glanced skyward, eyes narrowing as a dark shadow loomed in the distance.

A swarm of flying undead monsters surged toward the tower, their eerie shrieks cutting through the peaceful dusk. Freyaʼs babbling stopped, her wide eyes darting to the approaching threat, but instead of fear, a spark of curiosity flickered across her face.

He stood, cradling her securely in one arm as her little fat legs dangled, his expression calm but resolute. ʼʼDonʼt worry, my little star,ʼʼ he whispered, brushing a kiss on her forehead. ʼʼDaddyʼs got this.ʼʼ

Archer became annoyed and summoned his mana; the air around them crackled. A violet glow erupted from his fingertips, weaving into a dazzling array of flames that spiraled upward like a celestial dance.

Freya watched as the sky blazed with light, as if the stars themselves had descended to join the spectacle. The undead swarm faltered, their shrieks turning to wails as his spells surged forward.

The flames twisted into a magnificent phoenix, its wings of fire stretching wide, illuminating the heavens. With a single, commanding gesture, Archer sent it soaring, and it engulfed the undead in a brilliant explosion of light.

The creatures disintegrated into ash, their remnants scattering like dark snow, vanishing into the wind. Once the monsters were dead, he sat down and got comfortable while playing with Freyaʼs hair as she cuddled up to him like a baby Koala.

Little Freyaʼs heart bubbled with joy as she snuggled in her fatherʼs lap, high atop the tallest tower. His arms wrapped around her, warm and strong, like a cozy cocoon woven from love itself.

Her father made her feel safe and happy. His deep, gentle voice hummed through her, soft as a lullaby, and his fingers danced through her soft hair, tickling just enough to make her giggle.

Freyaʼs tiny world was all him, her hero, her everything, and being so close to him made her heart feel so big it might burst. She didnʼt understand all his words, but they sparkled like treasures, promising her and her sisters a life full of love and fun.

When he called her my little lady, her smile grew so wide her cheeks ached, and she clapped, leaning against his tummy. His heartbeat thumped steadily and strongly, like the best kind of music, and she felt like the luckiest girl ever.

Freya grabbed his shirt, wishing she could stay in this moment forever, just her and him, sharing their special kind of magic.

As Archer gently cradled Freya, a wave of sudden celebration swept through the fortress below. The air thrummed with life as survivors and Draconians, united in triumph, filled the courtyard as people were spirited, dancing, singing, and rousing cheers.

Their joy was a clear, weaving through the crowd like a warm breeze, lifting spirits and igniting smiles. The baby was nestled securely against his chest, gazing down, gleaming with delight, her small hands twitching excitedly.

Without hesitation, he summoned his wings, catching the afternoon light as they unfurled. Moments later, he soared into the air toward where Inara, Ashoka, and Maeve stood in a close-knit circle, their laughter mingling with the festive clamor.

When Archerʼs feet touched the ground, the trio turned, their faces lighting up at the sight of him and the precious bundle in his arms. Freya, sensing the attention, let out a soft coo, her bright eyes darting between the familiar faces.

Surrounding soldiers, clad in battle-worn armor, straightened with respect. A grizzled commander, his voice booming like thunder over the crowd, raised his fist and bellowed. ʼʼFor the Princess Freya!ʼʼ

The cry echoed through the square, a powerful testament to their hope and unity. The crowdʼs cheers softened instinctively, mindful of the delicate child, yet their excitement remained undimmed, a quiet roar of adoration and pride.

Freya, caught up in the gentle swell of sound and the warmth of the moment, squirmed with joy in his arms, her tiny body trembling thanks to the happiness. Her infectious giggle rippled outward, drawing smiles from even the sternest warriors.

Moments later, Maeve stepped forward, her face radiant with a warm, unguarded smile as she gazed at the white-haired bundle in Archerʼs arms. ʼʼCan I hold her, please?ʼʼ she asked, her voice soft yet brimming with anticipation.

Archer let out a low, affectionate chuckle, his eyes twinkling as he gently passed Freya to her. The little girl squirmed briefly before settling into Maeveʼs embrace, her tiny hands grasping at the vibrant strands of her orange hair.

ʼʼMae,ʼʼ he warmly said. ʼʼSheʼs your daughter, too. Remember what we all agreed to in the harem? All my children are yours, ours. Blood ties donʼt define our family. Sheʼs yours in every way that matters.ʼʼ

Maeveʼs smile deepened, her eyes misting as she cradled Freya closer, the infant cooing softly against her. Archer leaned against a stone pillar, a soft smile playing on his lips as he watched her pamper their daughter.

The orange-haired woman sat cross-legged on a soft blanket in the fortress garden, her hands gently tickling Freyaʼs tiny feet, eliciting delighted squeals from the white-haired infant.

Maeveʼs voice was a melodic hum, whispering silly rhymes as she dangled a colorful ribbon above Freya, who swatted at it with chubby hands, her giggles bubbling like a spring, which made the other two women smile.

Suddenly, the baby girlʼs eyes lit up, and she lunged forward, wrapping her small arms tightly around Maeveʼs neck in a fierce, clumsy hug. She laughed, her arms encircling the child protectively, their foreheads touching in a tender moment.

Following that, Archer watched as delighted squeals filled the air as the orange-haired beauty tickled Freyaʼs tiny feet. She bounced, swatting at Maeve. Her giggles a melody that wove through the ongoing celebration in the square. In a burst of affection.

Nearby, Ashoka, her amber eyes glinting, approached with a playful sway in her step. Her dark brown hair, streaked with subtle hints of gold, cascaded over her shoulders as she knelt beside Maeve.

ʼʼMy turn, Mae,ʼʼ she teased.

Freya, sensing a new source of attention, turned her head, locking onto the brown skinned woman. She let out a delighted coo and reached out, and Ashoka scooped her up, nuzzling her cheek against the infantʼs soft curls.

ʼʼOh, you cute little gremlin,ʼʼ the Tiger woman murmured.

She soon started gently bouncing Freya, who squealed in delight, tiny hands grasping at her hair. Ashoka produced a small, carved wooden toy shaped like a tiger cub, waving it gently in front of the little girl, who clapped her hands.

Inara joined them. ”Youʼre spoiling her rotten,” she said with a mock frown, though her lips twitched into a smile.

Standing beside Ashoka, Inara extended her arms, and Freya, ever eager for affection, practically leapt into them. The older womanʼs laughter was low and rich as she cradled the infant.

ʼʼLook at those eyes,ʼʼ Inara whispered.

She produced a soft scarf, draping it lightly over Freyaʼs shoulders like a tiny cape, prompting another round of gleeful giggles as she flapped her arms, playing along. A soft shimmer of light coalesced, and two more infants appeared in his arms.

Neoma and Kela, their dark grey skin shimmering faintly like polished obsidian under the sunlight. The twins, with their wide, curious eyes, cooed softly, their tiny hands reaching out as if sensing the festive air.

Archer chuckled, adjusting his hold to balance the pair. ʼʼAlright, you two,ʼʼ he said, his voice warm. ʼʼTime to join the fun.ʼʼ

The three women turned at the sound, their faces lighting up at the sight of Neoma and Kela. ʼʼOh, look at them!ʼʼ Maeve exclaimed, already rising to her feet to approach.

When the Tigress handed the white-haired angel back to Inara, who nestled the infant against her chest and joined Maeve in crowding around him. The twins babbled happily as Maeve and Ashoka each took one, showering them with gentle kisses and soft words.

The lioness was still holding Freya, leaned closer, her red eyes twinkling as she murmured. ʼʼOur little angels, all together.ʼʼ

Archer then asked Leira if he could bring Evelyn, and the cat woman agreed. When he got her approval, he summoned the little girl, who appeared in his arms, a bundle of joy with fluffy ears.

Spotting her sisters already present, Evelyn let out an excited, adorable squeal, drawing the attention of the three women. Inaraʼs eyes widened as she exclaimed. ʼʼThereʼs a fourth! And sheʼs stunning, look at those ears! Sheʼs a Demi-Human like us, Ashoka!ʼʼ

ʼʼIs that Leiraʼs daughter?ʼʼ Maeve remarked. ʼʼSheʼs got her ears and eyes, but the rest is all you, Arch. Honestly, your daughters are the most beautiful little girls Iʼve ever seen.ʼʼ

Archerʼs grin grew wider as he confidently answered. ʼʼWhat do you expect when Iʼm this handsome?ʼʼ

The women giggled as Maeve slapped his arm. ʼʼYouʼre not wrong, but whereʼs my baby?ʼʼ
