A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1533: Drown In A Blood

ʼʼFight back?ʼʼ Archerʼs laugh was a bitter, guttural sound, devoid of humour.

His fists clenched tighter, the muscles in his arms bulging as fresh blood trickled from where his nails dug into his palms. ʼʼYou think fighting back fixes this? They slaughtered them, Inara! Children who never held a sword, women who never raised a hand against them! Men who wanted to raise their families! The Alliance wanted to send a message, and they used their blood to write it!ʼʼ

Archerʼs voice rose to a bellow, the ground trembling beneath him as his aura flared brighter, a dark storm of power that uprooted nearby trees and sent soldiers scrambling further away. Inaraʼs jaw tightened, but she refused to back down.

ʼʼArcher, please,ʼʼ she pleaded. ʼʼIʼm begging you, donʼt let this break you. Weʼll find the ones who did this. Weʼll make them pay. But you canʼt do that if youʼre lost to this… this madness.ʼʼ

ʼʼMadness?!ʼʼ Archer spun on her, his face contorted, his eyes blazing like twin stars. ”This isnʼt madness, Inara! This is revenge screaming in my veins! They tore these lives apart, and you want me to calm down? To stand here and pretend I can swallow this?!ʼʼ

His voice cracked, but the rage only grew, his aura now a howling tempest that whipped her hair and cloak wildly. ʼʼEvery second I look at her,ʼʼ he pointed at the white-haired girl, his hand shaking violently. ʼʼI see Freya, Evelyn, and the other babies! I see their faces, their futures, ripped away by those monsters! And you think I can breathe through that?!ʼʼ

Inaraʼs eyes glistened, but she held her ground, her voice steady despite the storm around her. ”Iʼm not asking you to forget, Arch. Iʼm asking you to channel this. Use it. Donʼt let it consume you until thereʼs nothing left but rage.ʼʼ

But her words seemed to fuel the fire rather than douse it. Archerʼs entire body shook, his face a mask of torment as he took a step toward her, his voice dropping to a dangerous, guttural growl. ʼʼConsume me? Itʼs already me, Inara. Iʼll burn the Alliance to ash before I let this go.ʼʼ

His aura surged again, a pulse of raw power that shook the trees and sent a shockwave through the air, his eyes never leaving the lifeless forms swaying in the distance, each one a reminder of what he needed to do.

At that moment, Ashoka and Maeve materialized using the dragon tattoos when they sensed the turmoil he was feeling. Their expressions were grim, etched with the same horror that gripped Inara as they saw the horrid scene. Without a word, they nodded in agreement at the lionessʼs earlier pleas.

But their unity only served to ignite a deeper fury inside him, a storm that threatened to consume the last vestiges of his restraint, which had taken years and his daughters to control. However, the scene before him unravelled it all.

Archerʼs gaze snapped between them, his face contorting into a mask of unbridled wrath, his eyes blazing with a fire that seemed to scorch the very air as he took in the three women. His lips curled into a snarl, and his voice, low and venomous, cut through the howling wind of his aura like a blade.

ʼʼYou agree with her?ʼʼ he spat, his words dripping with disbelief and betrayal, each syllable trembling with the weight of his fury.

His muscles tensed, veins pulsing beneath his skin as his fists clenched so tightly that even more blood dripped onto the cursed earth. He took a menacing step forward, his rage-filled expression twisting his features into something almost unrecognizable, a man teetering on the edge of madness.

ʼʼYou stand there, all of you, preaching control while those beasts!ʼʼ he thrust a trembling hand toward the sea of trees. ʼʼHang like slaughtered livestock! Children, women, men, murdered for nothing!ʼʼ

His voice rose to a thunderous roar, shaking the ground as his aura flared, a storm of dark energy that sent leaves flying and forced the trio to brace against its force. ʼʼClean up after me.ʼʼ

Archer warned, his voice dropping to a chilling growl that carried the promise of devastation. ʼʼPluoria will drown in blood for what theyʼve done here. Iʼll carve their sins into their flesh and burn their lands to ash.ʼʼ

His eyes locked onto each of the women in turn, daring them to challenge him. The air crackled with the assertiveness of his will; his rage was a living, breathing entity that pulsed with every heartbeat, vowing revenge for what had happened.

Following that, Maeve pushed through the chaos of Archerʼs dark aura, her face etched with desperation as she reached for him. ʼʼHusband, stop!ʼʼ she cried, her voice barely cutting through the howling wind of his rage.

Her hand grazed his arm, a futile attempt to anchor him. ʼʼYouʼre going too far! We canʼt lose you to this!ʼʼ

Archer whirled on her, his eyes held something that made her recoil. His face was a twisted mask of fury, his voice a guttural snarl. ʼʼLeave me alone!ʼʼ he warned, his words slicing through the air like a blade.

His aura surged violently, shoving Maeve back as the ground trembled beneath his wrath. ʼʼYou donʼt get it! They butchered children! Iʼll tear Pluoria apart for this, and I donʼt need any of you holding me back!ʼʼ

Inara and the two women backed off when hearing their husbandsʼ warning; it was something theyʼd never experienced from him. Just then, she sent a message to Ella, as she was the one woman who knew him the longest.

When the Half-Elf heard about everything, she panicked and warned all three of them. ʼArch has never gone like this, itʼs happened because of him having daughters now. It mustʼve effected him so deeply that he canʼt control it anymore.ʼ

ʼʼControl what?ʼʼ They all asked at the same time.

ʼʼThe other side of him that was prominent when he was younger,ʼʼ Ella said while appearing in the clearing.

Her eyes widened at the scene of a sea of dead Pluorians. She knew exactly what happened, but before she could say anything, Archer appeared over the sea of dead and breathed beautiful violet fire across it.

The trees and bodies burned in an instant as the fire burned everything in its path, only to stop when it got close to the women. Ella couldnʼt help but smile as she revealed. ʼʼEven as angry as he is, he still cares for us.ʼʼ

ʼʼWhat do we do?ʼʼ Inara questioned.

Maeve and Ashoka looked at the Half-Elf, who quickly answered. ʼʼNothing, just clean up after his done rampaging.ʼʼ

Following the burning of all the Pluorians, Archer traveled across the continent, attacking anything related to the Alliance. Nothing stood a chance as his Dragon form destroyed castles and armies alike.

The enemy generals didnʼt know what to do until the Pseudo Gods appeared, but they quickly brutalized the men and women. He was a force of nature as his rage fueled his slaughter of millions.

Weeks later, Archer was perched atop a mountain peak, his gaze fixed on the Allianceʼs final stronghold nestled in the valley below. Their desperate attempt to conceal it with potent magic had failed; the worldʼs mana, ever loyal to him, had betrayed their secret.

As he rested before the attack, a pang of longing gripped his heart. He had not seen his women in weeks, shunning all contact, haunted by the weight of his past actions, but soon enough, something happened that shocked him.

Moments later, a portal tore open the air in front of Archer, and a young woman, barely in her late teens, stepped through. Her long white hair cascaded like a waterfall, catching the sunlight, while her large blue eyes sparkled with excitement. Her pointed ears twitched, betraying her heritage and eager anticipation.

Archer was stunned as he knew exactly who this girl was and rushed toward her. He embraced her, muttering. ʼʼWhat are you doing here, Freya? And how did you do it?ʼʼ

”Iʼve come to save you, Papa,” she said softly, her voice full of love. ʼʼPlease, let go of this anger and come home to my mothers. They miss you so much, theyʼre lost without you.ʼʼ

Archerʼs heart melted as he tightened his embrace around his daughter, a gentle laugh escaping him. ʼʼAlright, my little star,ʼʼ he murmured, nodding. ʼʼWill you always come to rescue me like this?ʼʼ

Freyaʼs giggle was like music, her face nuzzling into his chest. ʼʼAlways, Papa! I want us to have what I grew up with, a home so full of love that we never lacked for anything. Especially with a father as wonderful as you.ʼʼ

ʼʼTime magic?ʼʼ he suddenly asked.

The young woman nodded, her blue eyes genuine. ʼʼMama Tiamat always watches over us,ʼʼ she said softly. ʼʼShe told me to use this power only when my heart aches unbearably, and Papa, it felt like I was going to break.ʼʼ

Guilt washed over Archer, and he opened his mouth to apologize, but Freya gently pressed a finger to his lips, stopping him. ʼʼNo, you donʼt need to say sorry,ʼʼ she said, her voice warm. ʼʼYou havenʼt done anything wrong. If you didnʼt care so deeply, you wouldnʼt be the father I adore with all my heart.ʼʼ
