Chapter 735: Chapter 284: Dragon Knight (Two-in-One Mega Chapter)_4

Now, he basically had three choices in front of him.

The first choice was to upgrade the talent ‘Intermediate Huge Strength (Active).’ The enhancement of explosive power meant that his attack power could be upgraded to another level, which is very important in combat.

The second choice was to upgrade the talent ‘Intermediate Steel Body (Passive).’ The reason is simple and important: armor never goes out of style!

The third choice was to split the two talent points and add them to ‘Basic Weapon Mastery (Passive)’ and ‘Basic Extraordinary Understanding (Passive)’ respectively.

Upgrading these two basic talents to intermediate level.

The advantage of this was that, in addition to the warhammer, the power of the secret techniques performed with other weapons would be improved.

At the same time, Extraordinary Understanding would further enhance the speed of cultivating subsequent Extraordinary Battle Techniques.

Each of the three choices had its own advantages, so which one should he choose?

Rein couldn’t help but fall into deep thought once again.

…

Suddenly, Rein sensed something and looked up towards the eastern sky.

He saw two squads of Griffin Knights rapidly approaching from the distant sky, flying in two straight lines, leaving a large gap in the middle as if they were escorting something.

But to the naked eye, there was nothing in the middle.

“Eh, the Griffin squadron has come.”

“Wow, the number of Griffin Knights this time is quite a lot,” exclaimed many guards.

…

Among the two squads of Griffin Knights, there was one person, and it was none other than Fishe who had just gone to send a message.

Seeing the Earl Habbs Mansion, which had clearly calmed down, he immediately thought of something, stiffened, and his expression became extremely sorrowful, seemingly believing that everyone, including his superior Viscount Felk, had been sacrificed.

But soon after, Fishe’s reddened eyes blinked.

Upon closer inspection, he noticed that the people on guard in the mansion’s garden were all dressed as guards, which filled Fishe with great joy!

However, this also made him very puzzled.

“Didn’t Viscount Felk say that the guy was at least a Legendary powerhouse?”

“Could it be that the opponent retreated on their own initiative?”

“But why would they retreat when they have the advantage? I don’t understand…”

Fishe shook his head, unable to figure out what exactly had happened.

As for the possibility…

that the Legendary Cult adversary had been killed, it never even crossed his mind.

After all, the scene of a Griffin being crippled by a single strike remained vivid in his mind!

…

As the two squads of Griffin Knights drew closer.

Before long, Rein began to feel that something was subtly off, and a sense of anxiety crept into his heart.

Eh?

This strong presence, how it reminded him of the ancient hero Mong…

A bolt of lightning flashed through Rein’s mind, and following that, he thought of something and suddenly looked up.

Right where the middle of the circling Griffin Knights had been empty, ripples of light began to appear as if glass was refracting light.

Straight after, what seemed to be the effect of some kind of invisibility disappeared.

A majestic, elegant, and elongated giant creature appeared before Rein’s eyes!

The shock was no less than when Rein first encountered the ancient hero Mong.

For before him was a true giant dragon, its entire body red, with densely packed and thick scales, each larger than a human palm, covering the well-muscled limbs underneath, and claws that could be compared to the longswords of the knights.

Atop the red dragon’s head, on either side, stood two slightly curved horns, while along the center of its head were four smaller horns arranged in a single row.

Its wings, seen up close, could be described as blotting out the sky!

By estimate, the wingspan was at least twenty to thirty meters, but clearly, the wind elemental energy particles billowing faintly around were the reason the creature could fly swiftly.

What caused trepidation, however, wasn’t just the creature’s size.

After all, in terms of size alone, the sea serpent Rein had killed was not much smaller than the red dragon before him.

Even the size of the Legendary Earth Snake was greater than that of the red dragon.

The most striking thing was its aura!

Such a fiery, vast aura made those guards who had not stepped into the Extraordinary realm shiver involuntarily!

Although they knew it was not an enemy but the empire’s Legendary—Dragon Knight—the oppression from a higher order of life made them tremble nonetheless.

The red dragon first lowered its head to sniff the corpse of the ancient hero Mong on the ground and then observed Rein’s Blue and White Warhammer with its large golden vertical pupils.

Its eyes revealed a distinctly anthropomorphic curiosity, perplexity, and amazement.

Then, from the back of the red dragon, came an elegant and magnetic female voice.
