The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Amadeus Yancey returned to the villa area from the hospital when Nathalie Quinlan had already gone to sleep.

Vincent Moore and Zed Moore were still busy with their tasks, and after waiting for a while without Amadeus returning, they also left.

Only Alfred Garland and Sadam Vinson were left in the villa.

Alfred was preparing dinner, making delicious food for everyone in the small kitchen. As he brought out the bowls and chopsticks, he saw the noble and laid-back man coming in from outside.

”Amadeus, you’re back.” He quickly put down the bowls and chopsticks in his hands, strode up to him, eager to share: ”Did you hear? Ms. Quinlan, she’s done with Hansel...”

Amadeus walked straight to the sofa, his eyebrows steady, appearing particularly calm: ”I know.”

”Whoa, you’re back?” Sadam was lounging on the sofa playing games, waiting for Nathalie to wake up for dinner.

He had just finished a game, and when he looked up, he saw Amadeus had returned. He informed Govert Griffin and Nadya Tucker in the game before exiting.

Sadam, like Alfred, was impatient to tell him: ”Vincent and Zed have left. Nathalie is sleeping upstairs; she came back an hour and a half earlier than you and is probably still asleep. By the way, do you know...”

Alfred followed Amadeus and, hearing this, replied in a somewhat annoyed tone: ”Amadeus says he knows.”

”Oh.” Sadam felt a bit depressed, for he originally thought Amadeus didn’t know.

But he quickly perked up, eyes sparkling: ”You know about Hansel Kingsley, but you definitely don’t know that Nathalie is the diamond boss of the Illegal Zone, the one we’ve been investigating, the Q.”

”Wallace Radcliff has been investigating her for three years without finding a thing, and to think Q has been right beside us all along, hanging out with us.” Sadam clicked his tongue in amazement: ”Tsk, if anyone’s a mock, it’s Nathalie! I wonder what Brian Bonette will think when he finds out Nathalie is the diamond boss Q from the Illegal Zone!”

His tone was full of schadenfreude and pride, clearly pleased with himself for discovering Nathalie’s alias before Brian.

Amadeus had already taken off his coat and sat on the sofa. Alfred brought him a cup of coffee. Holding the coffee cup, he bowed his head as the steam fogged his facial features, his strikingly handsome face void of emotion, seemingly lazy and noncommittal.

Sadam, seeing his reaction, tilted his head and said: ”Amadeus, why aren’t you reacting? Nathalie is the diamond boss of the Illegal Zone...”

Indeed.

The truth is brutal!

”I’ve known for a while.” Amadeus calmly put down the cup, slightly raised his eyes, his deep eyes half-closed, languid yet casual.

Sadam’s mouth twitched, involuntarily thinking of Brian Bonette, who still didn’t know: ”You’ve known Nathalie is the diamond boss for a while? How long?”

”Half a year ago?” Amadeus thought for a moment, then responded candidly, meeting his gaze: ”Forgot.”

”...”

Sadam silently lit a candle in his mind for Brian Bonette and the group at The Ninth Institute, who continued to investigate the diamond boss, then gave the man a thumbs up: ”Amadeus, do you think Brian and Wallace Radcliff will go crazy once they find out...”

The Ninth Institute was painstakingly investigating the diamond boss, yet the boss already knew.

But the boss stayed silent!

Amadeus’s hand rested on his leg, head tilted back, leaning against the sofa backrest, and after a moment, he said: ”... It’s her privacy. Unless one day she wants you to know, I won’t speak of it.”
