Tycoon: I Have an Unlimited Modifier

Chapter 545: Chapter 294: The Snake Swallowing an Elephant Plan

Milan, Malpensa Airport.

Qi Sheng and his entourage descended the spiral staircase of a Gulfstream G650ER.

“Boss.”

Shen Wan, leading a group of impeccably dressed elites of both Caucasian and Asian descent, respectfully welcomed Qi Sheng.

Among them, Asian faces were more numerous.

Without a doubt, these executives were all from Misha.

After Shen Wan finished making introductions one by one, he led Qi Sheng to a Phantom.

Driving a car right onto the tarmac.

For a tycoon with a private jet, such a thing was no problem at all.

Once the motorcade left the airport, it headed straight for 21 Bergamo Street.

Prada’s headquarters was located here.

Although Misha had already been established, its current core brands were just Prada and Tiffany.

At most, you could add Miu Miu, which followed an accessible luxury route.

After Misha’s establishment, it continued to use Prada’s original headquarters as its main office.

The core management team was still the same group as before.

Accompanying Qi Sheng to Milan were Gu Pan, Jiang Shuying, and Mao Xiaotong.

All three of them had been officially invited.

Unlike some female celebrities in the Chinese entertainment industry who liked to pay their own way just to chase clout.

Being invited by a top-tier luxury brand like Prada was a huge point of pride for their fans.

When fans follow a celebrity, what they’re really after is that sense of vicarious experience.

When they saw their idol land a top-tier luxury endorsement, they were even happier than the celebrity themselves.

Shen Wan led Qi Sheng and the others on a tour of the entire headquarters.

Prada’s headquarters was quite large, spanning over ten thousand square meters.

It had everything: management and administration offices, styling design studios, workshops, and even a showroom specifically for hosting fashion shows.

Although Prada’s fame might lag a bit behind that of LV and Chanel…

…a starved camel is still bigger than a horse. Some accessible luxury brands simply couldn’t compare.

This was the foundation of an old, top-tier luxury brand!

Gu Pan and the others took their teams of assistants to take photos.

They had to post some unedited photos for their fans back home, letting them feast their eyes on the experience.

With a gold-medal agent like Lin Meishan around, Qi Sheng wasn’t worried in the slightest.

He followed Shen Wan to Prada’s most important department: design.

Inside, a group of highly motivated designers was bustling about nonstop.

“Old Zhou, the boss is here!”

Shen Wan called out with a smile to Zhou Jiecheng, who was focused on a drawing.

“The boss?”

Zhou Jiecheng quickly rose from his seat, hurried to the doorway, and bowed slightly in respect.

“Hello, Boss.”

“I hear from Shen Wan that you’ve redesigned Prada’s most classic hobo bag?”

Qi Sheng smiled and waved his hand. “That must have been difficult for you, having to turn in a design in such a short amount of time.”

“It was my duty. Because time was so tight, I couldn’t really design a completely new bag, so I had to settle for a slight revamp.”

Zhou Jiecheng led Qi Sheng into the design studio.

The other busy designers merely glanced at them before returning to the work at hand.

“Boss, this is the redesigned hobo bag. I’ve named it the ‘Cleo.’ It comes in two versions, nylon and full leather, with tentative price points of five thousand and fifteen thousand, respectively.”

Zhou Jiecheng took out two sample bags and handed them to Qi Sheng for his review.

Even with Qi Sheng’s discerning eye, he had to admit that Zhou Jiecheng was truly talented.

In terms of exterior design, it incorporated the style of a crescent bag.

The curves of the bag had become rounded and gentle.

The genius of Zhou Jiecheng’s design lay in the bag’s sloped, curved base.

It was very stylish and had an almost 3D feel.

This was a brand-new design element that none of Prada’s previous re-editions had featured.

The lines were sleek and graceful, giving it a high-fashion feel.

“Boss, I can promise you with full confidence that this bag is not picky about who carries it. Women of all different ages, styles, and body types can wear it.”

Seeing Qi Sheng nod from time to time, Zhou Jiecheng felt a small sense of relief.

‘Thankfully, my design seems to have satisfied the boss, more or less.’

‘Otherwise, I’d be too ashamed to show my face.’

“What material is this bag made of?”

Qi Sheng glanced at the two black bags in his hands. The leather one was more appealing.

“It’s a brushed leather material produced by the group’s Spazzolato workshop. The cost is three times that of the nylon version.”

After answering, Zhou Jiecheng added, looking a bit conflicted, “Boss, I personally feel we should consider reducing the number of nylon designs in the future. It affects the overall value of the Prada brand.”

“You have a point. Cut the nylon version entirely. From now on, the entry-level price for a Prada bag will be over ten thousand.”

Qi Sheng put down the bags and instructed Shen Wan.

“Uh… Boss, isn’t that too big of a leap?”

Shen Wan was taken aback and advised cautiously.

“If Prada wants to catch up to LV and Chanel, it can’t keep clinging to the small profits that nylon brings in.”

“Even if revenue drops, I won’t blame you. Go ahead and do it with confidence!”

Qi Sheng clapped Shen Wan on the shoulder and turned to Zhou Jiecheng with a smile.

“The ready-to-wear pieces I had you design before, they’re prepared, right?”

“They’re all finished. Would you like to try them on now?”

Zhou Jiecheng looked at Qi Sheng with an expectant expression.

In his eyes, Qi Sheng was the perfect model.

Perfectly handsome features, a tall and statuesque build, an extraordinary and distinguished air…

‘If he could get the boss to walk in a show, he estimated their menswear line would sell out instantly.’

“Yes, I’ll try them on.”

Qi Sheng didn’t refuse and followed Zhou Jiecheng to the fitting room.

When Qi Sheng emerged from the fitting room…

…the designers, who had been busy just a moment ago, all stopped what they were doing and stared at Qi Sheng in amazement.

“Boss, forgive me for being blunt, but you are the most perfect model. How about you take the final bow instead of me?”
