Global Flood: I Survive on Duckweed

Chapter 353: Chapter 215: Mutual Generation and Suppression, a Successful Breakthrough

Ren Yuanyang immediately sensed the situation around Qin Haonan and instantly understood what was happening.

”Everyone, arrange yourselves in the generative order of the Five Elements, and then try your Cultivation again!” Ren Yuanyang commanded.

Everyone paused for a moment, then rearranged themselves as Ren Yuanyang instructed.

”The Gold-Type Element around you diminished because Xin Wan successfully activated her Cultivation Technique, drawing the surrounding Fire Element toward her. The Fire Element not only pushes away the Gold-Type Element but also suppresses its activity. Fire overcomes Gold,” Ren Yuanyang continued, explaining to Qin Haonan.

Qin Haonan was slightly taken aback, then nodded. ”So that’s what it was. I thought it was a problem with my own Cultivation!”

Seeing that everyone had arranged themselves in order, Ren Yuanyang had them resume their Cultivation. However, the space on the speedboat was indeed limited, and interference was inevitable.

”Leader, we should find a cabin on the supply ship that’s big enough to be our Cultivation Room!” Lu Jiamei suggested.

Ren Yuanyang nodded slightly. ”Mm, let’s go look on the supply ship right now!”

Ren Yuanyang and his group went over to the supply ship and found the largest cabin.

”Form a circle according to the generative order of the Five Elements.” Ren Yuanyang stood in the center, directing everyone to their Cultivation positions.

Once they were in order, everyone immediately began their Cultivation. This time, they finally stopped interfering with each other.

Before long, everyone had actually succeeded in activating their Cultivation Technique!

Yesterday, less than half of them had succeeded, yet today, all of them had!

Ren Yuanyang pondered for a moment and guessed at a possibility: cultivating with Evolvers of the same Attribute increased the success rate.

Bathing in elements of the same Attribute meant they could spend less energy capturing those elements. At the same time, it should also increase the speed of their Cultivation.

Seeing that everyone had entered a state of Cultivation, Ren Yuanyang also began his own.

The successful Cultivation of the circle of people around him also raised the concentration of the Five Elements in the area!

Bathed in this high concentration of the Five Elements, Ren Yuanyang’s Cultivation was incredibly smooth. After circulating his Cultivation Technique for eighty-one cycles, he suddenly felt his Mental Energy break through some kind of barrier, and it began to frantically absorb all the surrounding elements.

The others, who had been cultivating, immediately stopped and stared at Ren Yuanyang in astonishment.

”What’s going on? Why do I feel like all the Gold-Type Element around me is rushing toward the Leader?” Qin Haonan asked, completely amazed.

”It’s not just Gold-Type!” Xin Wan’s brow furrowed. ”The Fire-Type is doing the same thing!”

Then, the Evolvers of the other types all chimed in that it was the same for them!

”Is the Leader a Taotie or something? He can devour any type of element?” Qin Haonan exclaimed, his face filled with shock.

Although they didn’t know what was happening, they saw that Ren Yuanyang showed no signs of pain, so they didn’t dare to act rashly.

The entire process lasted for half an hour. Qin Haonan and the others were completely unable to cultivate. The main reason was that they couldn’t compete with Ren Yuanyang. They couldn’t even absorb the tiniest bit of element for their Cultivation and could only watch as Ren Yuanyang devoured all the nearby elements like a whale.

Half an hour later, Ren Yuanyang finally stopped. He slowly opened his eyes, and when he saw Qin Haonan and the others watching him from the side, he jumped in surprise. ”What are you all doing? Why aren’t you cultivating?”

Qin Haonan rolled his eyes. ”We wanted to cultivate, but you snatched up all the elements! We couldn’t cultivate at all!”

Ren Yuanyang was taken aback for a moment, then immediately understood what had happened. He replied with a smile, ”It’s probably because I just had a breakthrough and needed a large amount of elements. You can continue now!”

”But aren’t you a Wood-Type Evolver? Why would you need elements of other types?” Qin Haonan, being frank, blurted out the question.

”The Five Elements generate and overcome one another. Other elements can give rise to the Wood-Type Element, so of course they can be absorbed and used. Besides, a breakthrough requires a massive amount of elemental support!” Ren Yuanyang began to bluff.

’Everyone is just fumbling their way through Cultivation anyway. I’ll just find any excuse to brush this off for now.’

’Even if they find out in the future that their own breakthroughs don’t require other types of elements, I can just say that I’m special.’

Everyone found his explanation perfectly reasonable. They stopped dwelling on the matter and resumed their Cultivation.

Thanks to Ren Yuanyang’s interruption, they only had half an hour of Cultivation time left.

Even so, Qin Haonan and the others still benefited greatly.

”I feel like my Cultivation speed increased even faster this time than it did last night!” Qin Haonan said, incredibly excited.

”That must be the effect of the Five Elements’ generative cycle. From now on, you should cultivate in this seating order,” Ren Yuanyang advised. ”You can also find an Evolver of the same type with higher Mental Energy to cultivate with. That should also provide a certain boost to your Cultivation speed!”

”Yes!” everyone replied in unison.

”Everyone, let’s go out, have breakfast, and then get to work!” Ren Yuanyang said, getting up and walking out.

When they came out of the Cultivation Chamber, James and the others looked at them curiously, then greeted them. ”Good morning, Leader, everyone!”

Ren Yuanyang and his group returned the greeting and left the supply ship.

”Des, do you feel like the Leader seems a little different?” James asked in a low voice, watching Ren Yuanyang’s retreating back.

Des was taken aback for a moment, then shook his head. ”Different? I can’t see it.”

James shrugged. ”Maybe it’s just my imagination!”

Back on the yacht, Xin Wan had already returned ahead of them. She had placed the prepared congee and stir-fried dishes on the dining table.

As soon as Ren Yuanyang and the others got back, they were able to start breakfast.
