Urban All-Round Master

Chapter 921: Chapter 948: The Cake Shop Owner

”Really, there’s something this good?” That manager had never met such a lavish person before.

To speak with money, this was the first time in his career he encountered such a situation. Though he had heard many stories on TV about rich kids spending money like water, it’s rare to see such a tycoon in real life.

”Where’s this person?” The manager’s eyes also sparkled with interest.

”Over there.” The beautiful clerk pointed in a direction. The manager quickly trotted over to Tangtang, looking as if he’d seen the Gambling God.

”So, you’re the manager here, right?” Tangtang could tell right away that this guy’s enthusiasm was all about the money. He directly asked.

”Yes. Is there anything you need?” The manager nodded.

”Actually, I don’t require much. I just want you to make a big cake for me. And then, cover the cake with fruit. I want to use the fruit to make a person. Then, make my body shape and appearance out of fruit too, embracing that person, and that’ll be enough. Money’s not an issue. As long as your bakery can do it, just name your price.”

”Are you serious!”

The man was stunned. Could it be this simple? If it were true, today’s business would be perfect, and too easy to profit from.

He seriously examined the little girl before him, and indeed.

The little girl standing in front of him is quite pretty, her skin very fair, and she dresses exceptionally well. From the bracelet she’s wearing, you can tell its price is extraordinary. The girl in front of him must come from a wealthy family, otherwise, she wouldn’t speak such words with such composure.

”What’s the matter? Can’t you understand what I’m saying? Well, if you’re unwilling to do it, I’ll go find another bakery. As long as I’m paying, I don’t believe I can’t find someone to make this cake.” Saying this, Tangtang was about to get up and walk out. This scared the manager, who quickly rushed to block Tangtang’s way.

With a sycophantic smile, he said, ”Well... Little beauty, it’s doable but...” In the end, what they care about is money. Tangtang naturally understood this. He took out a card from his pocket and placed it in front of him. ”There’s five hundred thousand in here. I think that should be enough, right?”

”Five... five hundred thousand! We don’t need that much, we don’t need that much.” The manager waved both hands repeatedly. It’s a joke, asking for five hundred thousand to make a cake. If word gets out, outsiders will definitely think it’s a scam. If he gets defamed, he might just end up in prison himself.

Moreover, the little girl in front of him, able to casually take out five hundred thousand so lightheartedly, must have a great background. So, even if the entire amount were given to him, he wouldn’t dare accept it.

That’s just the way the world is. People love money, but this kind of ill-gotten wealth they’re afraid to take. If he receives this ill-gotten money, who knows how he might die later on.

”Then how much do you want?” Tangtang, initially puzzled, thought five hundred thousand should be enough, yet he didn’t want it.

”Heh heh, five hundred thousand is too much. Two thousand is enough.” The manager wore a greedy expression.

”Dang! Just that little? I thought it was much more. Here, take the card and use it as you please.” Tangtang wasn’t in the mood for idle chatter, directly tossing the card in front of the manager, opting to act as a tycoon today.

”Okay, okay! Wait a moment, I’ll swipe it for you right away.” The manager trotted off; although two thousand isn’t much, it’s quite high for making a cake.

The manager grabbed the card and ran to the counter, where a slightly chubby man was standing. The man had also heard that a wealthy customer had come into their shop today. He assumed it was a big shot, but after asking the manager, this guy wore a heaps of grinning face, extremely happy, attracting the boss’s attention, thinking it was some big business deal.

”How much?”

”Two thousand bucks.”

”Damn! Just that much, why are you so happy!” The boss was almost upset hearing it was only two thousand bucks. This guy is so simple-minded. The person is so wealthy and lets you swipe freely without milking a bit, and here you are grinning over two thousand. What nonsense is this!

”Boss, we surely have to pocket half of these two thousand cleanly, right?”

The manager’s eyes gleamed, still not waking up from the money trap.

”Get lost!” The boss angrily shouted, almost slapping him to death. Two thousand bucks and he can be that jubilant? What’s this? Making the entire cake shop seem grand, as if some big boss had arrived.

”Hurry up, then. I need it tonight. Money’s not a problem. As long as you get my thing done, done well, I’ll cover the costs tonight.” Tangtang sat on a small chair, holding a bottle of milk. With a wave of the hand, she looked imposing. This scene caught the boss’s eye.

”Little beauty, you just want one cake tonight?”

Seeing the weird uncle-like boss, Tangtang wasn’t interested in him. She silently nodded and said, ”Yeah, just one cake. Does your shop have something better to introduce to me?”

”Yes, yes. In our shop, as long as you can think of a cake, our shop can make it for you.”

”I’ve already mentioned the cake I want. Money’s not an issue. As long as you make it look good and taste good, that’s enough. Oh, and if you don’t do a good job, you’ll have to redo it.” Tangtang, like a little Think Tank, commanded the chubby boss in front of her, like a general commanding his army. People like cake shop bosses have seen all kinds of wealthy kids, so he doesn’t consider Tangtang to be fake. On the contrary, in his eyes, if a rich kid lacks the pretense of commanding an army, they’re likely not truly wealthy. The wealthy kids are regulars at his cake shop.

He had seen all sorts of little princesses and Emperors before. Tangtang’s commanding of the army doesn’t pale in comparison.

”Heh heh, our shop has even more delicious and fun things. Do you want to take a look?”

”What things?” Tangtang rolled her eyes, feeling curious. With a wave of her hand, she happily said, ”Alright, show me all the delicious and fun things from your shop. If there’s anything my uncle can use, I’ll buy it all. Money is not a problem.” She stood up and walked to the bent-backed boss, patting his shoulder like a leader.

”Go ahead. Bring me anything good you’ve got.”

”Alright, alright! Just wait a moment, I’ll be right over.” The boss, hearing this, thought, great, it’s another silly rich kid. This time, I must take a bit or else it wouldn’t make sense. If I don’t gouge her a bit, it wouldn’t be fair to her rich kid status. But when the boss brought out the items, Tangtang almost felt nauseated.
