Urban All-Round Master

Chapter 920: Chapter 947: Liu Tangtang Buys a Cake

Today was her first time at this cake shop, and she was introduced here by an acquaintance. She didn’t even know if the cakes here were any good.

But Tangtang was willing to give it a try. This Xiangyi Grass cake shop was considered the best in the region. It was also a particularly large chain; if even this chain’s cakes weren’t good, then she couldn’t think of which cake shop would have better-tasting cakes.

”Young lady, are you here to buy a cake?” As soon as she walked in, a young beautiful woman greeted Tangtang.

The woman smiled charmingly. She was dressed in the cake shop chain’s uniform, looking very professional.

”I want to buy a cake, the kind that tastes really good. I don’t care about the price as long as it tastes great,” Tangtang said with a pout.

Her round eyes darted around. This cake shop was quite large. With the woman’s assistance, she was personally led into the cake shop for a tour.

”Little girl, take a look around first. If there’s a style you like, we can make it for you.”

”Hey! I say, miss, you don’t need to keep calling me a little girl, alright? I’m not that young, okay? I’m eighteen already, and you still call me a little girl. That’s not very respectful, is it?”

Tangtang pouted, with her hands on her hips, looking a bit annoyed. She hated being called a little girl. She wasn’t that young, really. Why did people call her a little girl?

Besides, this young woman in front of her didn’t look much older than her and kept calling her a little girl. What’s with that?

At the very least, I’m a customer, yes, yes, the customer is God. God has personally visited, yet she still calls God a little girl. Where does that happen?

”Alright, alright. I won’t call you that anymore. I apologize.” The woman smiled slightly, amused by Tangtang’s cuteness. Honestly, Tangtang’s outfit and style today were quite nice.

But the only thing was she looked a bit immature. Plus, she had a baby face, making it hard for people not to call her a little girl.

”That’s more like it. At the very least, I’m like your shop’s God. Now that God is personally standing in front of you, at least show some respect.”

”Alright, alright, my little God. So, which cake did you fancy? Whichever you like, we can make it for you. Also, our cake shop offers private customization. Whatever cake you can think of, our shop can make it for you.”

”Really? Private customization? That sounds so sophisticated. Don’t trick me!” Tangtang’s large eyes sparkled. Private customization — it sounded quite fancy.

If she really could get a custom cake, she’d definitely order a perfect large cake for Uncle, and he’d be overjoyed.

Honestly, Tangtang had never made a cake for any man, not even her father or mother had this privilege. Now this privilege was going to be bestowed upon Lin Zifeng.

If her parents knew, they’d think raising such a thankless child was futile.

”Do you think I was joking with you, considering we’re such a major chain?” The woman smiled slightly yet again, her smile professional. Although she didn’t like arguing with kids, she still made an effort to converse with Tangtang.

After all, the idea that the customer is God had its basis. At the very least, any cake from them ranged in the triple digits. For private customization, it would start at four figures.

And she could earn a ten percent commission.

Why wouldn’t she want to earn that?

”Alright, then. I want a cake covered in fruits that creates a human shape with these fruits. Oh, and some text as well. It’d be best to carve these fruits to resemble me first, then make it look like I’m hugging a man. Oh, I even have a photo of that man. Let me give you his photo, and you take care of it. As for the cost, don’t worry about it.

No matter how much, I’ll pay. As long as your shop can make it.”

Tangtang spoke with great enthusiasm and boldness, which stunned the beautiful clerk.

Using fruits to create a person? Gosh! She could actually say something that defies common sense like that? It seemed today’s girls watch too many movies and anime.

So naive!

”What’s wrong? Can’t your shop make it?”

Seeing no response, Tangtang furrowed her brows, beginning to doubt the boastful claims the pretty clerk made in front of her earlier.

”Yes! Yes, we can certainly make it. But the cost might be quite high.”

”Money is no issue as long as you can make it. Even if it’s ten thousand, I’ll give it. Look, this card has half a million. Name your price, and swipe away. Just make sure I’m satisfied. No matter how much it is, it’s fine.”

”R-Really!”

The pretty clerk was startled, cautiously reaching for the card in her hand.

”Ha! Money is a small matter, but you must deliver a cake that satisfies me. If what you make doesn’t match my imagination, you’ll need to refund every penny. How about that?”

”Of course! Of course! We can definitely do it. Come, come, come, young lady, have a seat inside. There are refreshments for you. I’ll call our manager for you, and he’ll personally see to it that it’s done as you request. We will make sure you’re satisfied.”

The pretty clerk’s eyes twinkled with gold stars. A cake that would earn ten thousand. Her ten percent commission would be a thousand! And since the customer was so generous, maybe she was from a wealthy family spending extravagantly.

Who knows, if they did a good job, the customer might tip generously, in the low thousands. That would be a score today!

This kind of opportunity wasn’t something easily stumbled upon. Why wouldn’t she grab it?

After watching the pretty clerk promptly scurry away, Tangtang kicked back in her chair, legs up on the table, casually chewing on a piece of candy.

”Gosh, having money feels awesome! This feeling of having someone serve me is quite the thrill. Since I have plenty of money, it’s not a problem. I’ll surprise Uncle and have some fun for myself while I’m at it.”

After a short while...

After the pretty clerk left, she swiftly returned with a young man wearing a white shirt and black suit pants.

”This manager, here’s the young lady who wants a custom-made cake. Money isn’t a concern for her, as long as she gets what she wants.”

The pretty clerk spoke with eyes flickering with golden stars.

”Such a good deal?” This was the first time the manager heard of someone so generous.
