After rejecting my celebrity husband

Chapter 1015: Chapter 1019: The Reason for Leng Zimo’s Coma

Dr. Chen and Doctor Song are authority experts at this hospital, and naturally, they know Leng Zimo’s identity. They were very polite to Luo Xiaoqian, nodding slightly in greeting, and after briefly asking her a question, they proceeded to examine Leng Zimo.

After the examination, they reviewed the report sent by Shen Yizhou, and both experienced elderly doctors displayed a look of surprise.

”Doctor, how is he?!”

Luo Xiaoqian asked worriedly.

Dr. Chen put the small flashlight back into his pocket, his tone somewhat perplexed, ”The patient responds to pain and light, his temperature, pulse, and blood pressure are all close to normal values, no abnormalities at all, almost the same as a normal person; he really shouldn’t be in a coma based on this.”

”He...” Luo Xiaoqian bit her lip, ”He was subjected to a very strong psychological stimulus before falling.”

”If that’s the case, I think maybe his subconscious is controlling his brain,” Doctor Song said.

Luo Xiaoqian looked bewildered, ”What do you mean? I don’t quite understand.”

”To put it simply, he himself does not want to wake up. The human body has an instinct to protect itself, and the brain is the same. For instance, when we touch something hot, we automatically pull our hand back, it’s called an instinctive reaction. The brain is similar, for example, if he suddenly undergoes a very intense stimulus, he doesn’t want to face the consequences brought on by this stimulus, so the brain will self-protect and enter a pseudo sleep-like coma state.” Doctor Song gently inhaled, ”I have come across similar cases before; a man just got married and his wife died in a car accident, he slept for three days before waking up because he couldn’t accept the fact. Of course, for now, this is just one possibility, we will do everything possible to rescue Mr. Leng Zimo.”

The two doctors gave Shen Yizhou a look and turned to leave the ward, Shen Yizhou walked over to Luo Xiaoqian, ”Xiao Qian, please go and tend to your wounds first, I’ll have Xiao Ding come in to watch over him. I think Zimo might have been shocked by the news about you, and needed some time to rest, he should wake up after a while.”

”I know, he must be angry with me and refuses to see me.” Luo Xiaoqian’s eyes remained fixed on Leng Zimo, ”I want to stay here until he wakes up and apologize to him immediately.”

Seeing her determination, Shen Yizhou no longer tried to persuade her, but turned to get a chair and placed it beside her, gently pressing her down onto the chair, ”Then sit and wait, I’ll go talk to the two experts again to see if there are any other treatment options.”

Sighing, Shen Yizhou quietly left the ward, outside, Xiao Ding and Zhuo Yannan immediately stood up to meet him, inquiring about the situation, and Shen Yizhou briefly explained to them, ”His vital signs are very normal, there’s currently no good method, we can only wait for him to wake up on his own!”

”How is Miss Luo’s condition?!” Xiao Ding asked with concern.

”Not very good.” Shen Yizhou’s tone was somber, ”I can tell she feels very guilty.”

”This isn’t her fault at all, it’s my fault; if I could have found a way to stop President Leng from signing that contract with Seo Fei, maybe President Leng wouldn’t have had the accident.” Xiao Ding said with a face full of remorse.

”This is not the time to discuss these matters.” Shen Yizhou turned to look through the glass at Luo Xiaoqian guarding beside Leng Zimo in the ward, ”I hope Zimo wakes up soon, otherwise, at this rate, I’m afraid Xiao Qian won’t be able to endure it!”
