Chapter 150: Chapter 150 Ye Family Crisis

”Brother Xiao, the company is in big trouble,” Fang Siqi said with a solemn expression.

”What kind of big trouble?” Xiao Yifeng asked in surprise, eager to know what could cause such a tense and oppressive atmosphere within the esteemed Tianhai’s top conglomerate, Ye Corporation.

”Half an hour ago, Japan’s Ishii Group suddenly released a statement saying that someone from our Ye Corporation had offended them, so to defend the dignity of the Ishii Group, they have launched a comprehensive attack on us.”

”They also warned that anyone who dares to collaborate with us would be opposing the Ishii Group, and they would spare no expense in striking back.”

”Now, our partners who were collaborating with Ye Corporation have all terminated their cooperation with us, and every aspect of our industries under Ye Corporation has been attacked to varying degrees, resulting in huge losses. The president has already convened all shareholders, directors, and department managers to gather in the meeting room to discuss the situation.”

Fang Siqi briefly recounted the events, and Xiao Yifeng’s eyes narrowed, a cold light flashing in his gaze.

In the meeting room of Ye Corporation, Ye Yaxin sat at the head, her face grave.

On either side of Ye Yaxin were seated Ye Songming, Dong Mingrui, and others, including Qiu Yuying and various department managers, each of them wearing an extremely serious expression.

”Ladies and gentlemen, what are your thoughts on the current situation?” Ye Yaxin swept her gaze over the room and spoke in a deep voice.

”President, right now I just want to know who in Ye Corporation has offended the Ishii Group to the extent that they would take such actions?” Dong Mingrui’s eyes narrowed slightly as he glanced at Ye Yaxin.

”Now is not the time to discuss that. What we should be thinking about is how to deal with the current situation,” Ye Yaxin said with a slight frown, clearly aware of why the Ishii Group would act this way.

It was obviously because Xiao Yifeng had crippled the ability of the Ishii Group’s Young Master, leaving him impotent, that the Ishii Group was seeking retaliation.

However, she could not reveal this about Xiao Yifeng. After all, no matter what, he had done it to save Ya Xin, and how could she possibly betray him? Besides, Xiao Yifeng was also her fiance.

”It seems the president knows what’s going on but doesn’t plan to share,” Hu Jie said, casting a meaningful look at Ye Yaxin.

At this moment, Ye Songming also gazed at Ye Yaxin and spoke, ”President, you must be aware of our current situation. The Ishii Group and our Ye Corporation are as different as elephants and ants.”

”Their actions have already caused immense losses to Ye Corporation. Most of our partners have terminated their cooperation with us, and our various industries have been attacked by the Ishii Group.”

”Our stock market has already started to falter, and it has dropped by three percentage points so far, resulting in a loss of several billion. If this continues, I fear Ye Corporation might be finished.”

”So, if the president knows what is happening, please tell us so we all understand what is going on. Otherwise, I’ll have to go back and contact the old master,” Ye Songming said gravely.

Ye Yaxin’s eyes flickered, and she said, ”As I said, discussing this is pointless right now. What we need to do is stabilize the situation as soon as possible. I want every department to be on high alert and do everything possible to minimize the losses for Ye Corporation.”

”Although the Ishii Group is powerful, after all, they are in Japan. It’s definitely impossible for them to take down Ye Corporation so easily. We can’t be afraid just because our opponent is strong.”

After delivering a speech and making arrangements, Ye Yaxin left the meeting room and returned to her office.

Just as Ye Yaxin got back to her office, Xiao Yifeng followed.

”Is there something?”

Looking at Xiao Yifeng, Ye Yaxin asked indifferently, not bothering to address the issue of him entering without knocking.

Xiao Yifeng met Ye Yaxin’s gaze and said, ”I already know about the Ishii Group. Don’t worry, I will solve this issue.”

”You solve it? How are you going to solve it?” Ye Yaxin looked at Xiao Yifeng with cold eyes, clearly not believing a word he said.

This guy was okay when it came to fighting or flirting with women, but Ye Yaxin absolutely didn’t believe he could handle such a big issue.

”What if I can solve this problem, how would you reward me?” Xiao Yifeng asked with interest, gazing at Ye Yaxin.

”Enough, don’t bother me anymore. I’m really annoyed right now and don’t have time for your jokes,” Ye Yaxin said with a furrowed brow.

”So, you have no faith in your husband here?” Xiao Yifeng felt like he had taken a heavy hit.

”Remember, you are not my husband, and I’ve never had any faith in you!” Ye Yaxin’s voice was cold as she spoke.

At that moment, Xiao Yifeng had the impulse to bang his head against the wall with frustration. Damn, this was a serious blow to his confidence. No, he couldn’t let his future wife look down on him like this.

”Fine, if I can handle the Ishii Group situation, you agree to become my woman,” Xiao Yifeng stated bluntly.

”Impossible.” Ye Yaxin rejected him resolutely. No matter what, she couldn’t agree to his condition, especially seeing how confident Xiao Yifeng was.

Although she didn’t quite believe he could take care of a giant like the Ishii Group, what if he actually did it? Then she’d have to become this jerk’s woman.

”Right, that condition doesn’t stand, because you are already my woman,” Xiao Yifeng suddenly realized.

”You...” Ye Yaxin’s eyes widened as she glared at Xiao Yifeng once again.

”How about this, if I can solve this issue, you give me a kiss by your own will, how about that?” Xiao Yifeng looked at Ye Yaxin with a mischievous smile.

Ye Yaxin frowned and hesitated before looking at Xiao Yifeng, ”Fine, but don’t tell me you plan on offering yourself to the Ishii Group, making them drop the issue with the Ye Family out of gratitude.”

”Tsk, as if I’m that stupid. Doing that would be akin to seeking death. Don’t worry, I’ll take care of it,” he responded dismissively.

Xiao Yifeng waved his hand and walked out.

Watching Xiao Yifeng’s retreating figure, Ye Yaxin’s eyes flickered with complicated emotions. She wondered to herself, could this guy really solve it?

Having left the office, Xiao Yifeng arrived in a certain corridor and pulled out his phone to dial a long number.

”Hello, who is it, disturbing my sleep?” An irritated voice came through the phone.

”Baozi, feeling itchy again?” Xiao Yifeng quipped with a curl of his lip.

”Oh my, Young Master, is that you?!” An excited voice exclaimed from the other end.

”Lei Bao, have you lost your mind? Who makes such a racket in the middle of the night, are you sick?” Another voice, like muffled thunder, then sounded from the other end.

”Baozi, you’re quite the man, huh? Are you sharing a bed with the lion? Didn’t expect you to swing that way,” Xiao Yifeng said with a chuckle.

”Young Master, please don’t misunderstand, I, Lei Bao, am not like that. My chrysanthemum is forever reserved for you... Kuang Shi, get lost, making the Young Master think we’ve got something going on,” he retorted.
