Daddy Always Gets Jealous

Huo Jinnan passed by the old man without even glancing at him and got into the car.

The old man looked at him, feeling even more bitter than before.

Alright, self-inflicted suffering is unavoidable!

Probably for the rest of his life, he wouldn’t be able to hold his head up high around the second son, he admitted it!

Watching them get into the car, they must be going to shoot the outdoor scenes, and he kept watching the car leave.

Uncle Guan drove up from the garage and saw the old man staring into the distance, stepping out from the driver’s seat, and opened the door to the backseat.

The old man felt aggrieved and looked back at Nanyuan Villa.

Could he go back while the second son was away?

He didn’t want to leave!

Uncle Guan looked at the old man.

The old man said, ”The second son is gone, I should check on the children.”

He turned around to knock on the door.

Mother Rong glanced at the display screen next to the door, seeing the old man, not knowing what to say!

The master had instructed that if the old man knocked, she shouldn’t open the door.

Moreover, she had kindly reminded him, the old man didn’t understand himself, who could he blame.

The old man stood at the door for a moment, turned away dejectedly, and walked towards the black Huiteng.

Uncle Guan, ”...”

Why did the old man have to do this, knowing the stubbornness of the second son.

The old man got into the car in a sulk, sitting in the backseat, feeling somewhat pained and guilty, as well as frustrated.

Uncle Guan didn’t dare to say much, and started the car.

After a long while, he sighed and looked out the window, suddenly thinking of Huo Jinyun and Gu Jizhou.

Only then did he realise it had been a long time since he thought of that mother and son.

However, thinking again of Huo Jinyun, who wasn’t well-behaved during her service and caused trouble inside, he felt disappointed.

Then thinking of Gu Jizhou, there was some comfort.

He performed well inside, earned merits several times, and had his sentence reduced.

Currently, his sentence has been reduced to twenty years.

After pausing, he looked at Uncle Guan, ”Let’s go see Jizhou, but don’t tell the second son, go quietly.”

Uncle Guan responded, drove to the prison.

After waiting for half an hour, the prison guard led them to the visiting room.

The old man entered the room and saw Gu Jizhou, dressed in prison clothes and frail, standing there, moved slightly, going over, ”Jizhou.”

Gu Jizhou looked at the old man, ”Great-grandfather.”

The old man teared up suddenly while looking at him.

He didn’t ask Jizhou how he was; inside, how good could he be.

Gu Jizhou looked at the old man, ”Great-grandfather, I’m fine, don’t worry.”

The old man nodded, not knowing what to say.

Gu Jizhou thought of an opportunity to study in prison, ”Great-grandfather, there’s a chance to enlist for training at the military district here, I want to sign up, but it requires your approval.”

The old man looked at Gu Jizhou, hesitating due to his past performance in the military.

Moreover, he couldn’t make decisions like this on his own anymore!

If someone really decided on this alone, they probably wouldn’t be able to enter Nanyuan Villa’s door in the future.

Gu Jizhou said, ”Great-grandfather, rest assured, I won’t be like I was before.”

The old man looked at Gu Jizhou and saw his eyes were true without any impurities, unlike before, so much within his gaze, ”Jizhou, for this matter, you need to meet your second uncle, ask for his opinion.”

Gu Jizhou understood and smiled at the old man.

Standing there, the old man blushed, even his ears turned red.

Did Jizhou also think he was afraid of that rascal, the second son!

Gu Jizhou, ”Okay, great-grandfather, I understand.”

The old man looked at Gu Jizhou’s hand, gently stroked it, seeing the clarity of his gaze, and his present spirit, truly felt a sense of transformation, ”Jizhou...”

For a moment, he didn’t know what to say, just smiled.
