The Darling of Heaven Owns a Rip-off Shop

Tianmiao brought Kong Hou and Dong Xiao to the Star God Plane. Here, time seemed to stand still, though only seemingly. Since Star Gods don’t need to eat or sleep, they often just sit quietly in meditation. Because the years are long and boring, the Star Gods are still very willing to make contracts with humans to aid in battles (play around).

The Star God Tianmiao was looking for is the strongest in this plane, his name is Zhi. (Well, the name’s not important, he’s just here for a cameo anyway.) He’s always meditating with his eyes closed, deep and unfathomable in the eyes of other Star Gods, focused on cultivation. But, not really...

He’s just sleeping, sleeping all the time.

Just lazy.

When Tianmiao poked him awake, he was startled and subconsciously wiped his mouth.

Seeing who it was that woke him up, he was even more startled.

”My lord?” The strongest Star God blinked at Tianmiao in front of him, then glanced around. Oh my, why are so many Star Gods gathering around? Not good! Have they discovered that I’ve been sleeping?

”Move aside, let me do it.” Tianmiao pointed at the array under the strongest Star God’s feet.

”Huh?” The strongest Star God looked perplexed, ”My lord, what are you planning to do?”

”Just something.” Tianmiao gestured with his eyes for the strongest Star God to quickly step aside.

”Are you going to replace me in contracting with a human? Uh, no, I mean, pretend to contract?” The strongest Star God quickly caught on.

”Sort of.” Tianmiao glanced at the strongest Star God, a bit disdainfully, ”Go back to sleep.” Don’t even mention that Ling Xiao’s summoning array is problematic, even if it wasn’t, it can’t wake this lazy god.

”Oh, my lord, let me explain, I wasn’t sleeping, I was, uh, cultivating, really.” The strongest Star God smiled awkwardly, trying to explain.

”I just saw you wipe your drool.” Kong Hou glared at this so-called strongest Star God in the plane, saying disdainfully.

”I wasn’t, Star Gods don’t drool, that’s just your illusion.” The strongest Star God refused to admit, shaking his head.

”But you have sleep crust in the corner of your eye.” Kong Hou taunted again.

”Impossible! Star Gods can’t have sleep crust even if they sleep.” The strongest Star God hurriedly rubbed his eyes and realized only after rubbing twice that he might have fallen into Kong Hou’s verbal trap. The strongest Star God gave Kong Hou a glare, this brat, really too much. Doesn’t the strongest Star God have a reputation to uphold?

”Alright, let me do it.” Tianmiao stood where the strongest Star God originally was.

”Huh? My lord, let me do it. I’m awake now, I can respond to human summoning.” Busted by Kong Hou, the strongest Star God no longer argued about not sleeping and directly admitted.

”I’ll do it, this matter is a bit more complex. If you’re bored, you can come along.” Tianmiao glanced at the strongest Star God of this plane. This guy, just sleeps all day. Even when summoned by the Ling Family in the past, he still slept all day. He only took surprising action when the Contractor was in danger. In his summoning history, there was only one time he actively communicated with a Contractor, because that Contractor was also lazy, sleeping eighteen hours a day, sharing the same ”stink” with him.

”Well, actually, I’m not really bored. But if my lord requires, I can come down anytime.” The strongest Star God chuckled.
