”…”

”…”

”…Thatʼs not that any different for you?”

As those words left his mouth, Valyr watched as the smile on Ataraxiaʼs face gradually morphed into a smug grin.

”It really isnʼt though,” said Ataraxia in return, the grin on his face growing wider. ”My LUK stat is only a few thousand points higher than yours.”

”Only the LUK stat,” replied the former after looking through both his and Ataraxiaʼs stat screens a few more times. ”As for the other stats, the gap is at least 10,000 points.”

”Then again, your DEX and INT stat are definitely the outliers here,” he continued. ”Over a 30,000 point difference on both compared to mine…”

”That pretty much confirms it. [Descent of the Arcane Supreme] is an insanely overpowered skill.” Valyr could not help but let out a sigh after that.

Although this brief comparison between their stats made him feel a hint of envy towards his other self, that envy immediately turned into a feeling of excitement, as well as anticipation of what was to come.

After all, with them now having firsthand experience, they had pretty much confirmed that the effects of their most powerful skills could be stacked on top of one another with the help of [Soul Unification].

Aside from that, he noticed that his stats skewed more towards how Ataraxiaʼs stats would normally be distributed when both skills were activated.

On the other hand, the latterʼs stats would be skewed more towards how his stats would normally be distributed with it active.

Though he didnʼt have a good idea on how he could make great use of this at the moment, he at least knew that this quirk would definitely come in handy later down the line.

”Alright.” Setting the information he had received from Ataraxia aside, Valyr looked at his other self with a knowing smile. ”Letʼs finally go through our notifications, shall we?”

At those words, the former merely nodded in agreement, eager to see what his other self had obtained after killing the Giant Blazeworm King.

Nodding back in return, the young man went ahead and brought up his notifications, only to then share what he saw with his other self through their connection.

Ding!

[With a 10+ level disparity between the user and the opponent, the amount of experience obtained shall be increased by 200%.]

[You have slain the Level 165 Giant Blazeworm King, Aromvita (Immemorial Elite). You have gained 101,814,512 XP.]

[…]

To no surprise, the first set of notifications he obtained after his kill were more or less similar to what Ataraxia got after killing the Elder Wyvern.

Though, unlike his other self, he did not receive a notification regarding either [Apex Hunter] or [True Overkill].

Instead, his notifications skipped directly to the title Ataraxia received after those two.

[Though achieving a damage value of over a million classifies you as an elite being among the mortals, throughout the vast universe, many beings are still able to achieve this feat.]

[…]

[Due to your actions, you have obtained the title ʼMortal of Ancient Calamityʼ.]

[Throughout the history of the universe, many beings have gone past the limits of mortality, capable of dealing damage over a million to their foes.]

[…]

[Due to your actions, you have obtained the title ʼGod Amongst Mortalsʼ.]

Confirming that he had obtained both [Mortal of Ancient Calamity] and [God Amongst Mortals] from killing the Giant Blazeworm King, Valyr felt as if a heavy weight had been lifted off his shoulders at that moment.

Though the two of them already had a rough idea on how to obtain both of the titles after Ataraxia got it himself, obtaining both titles a second time more or less confirmed it.

”You think the system would give me the same title you got?” Just as he had finished going through this set of notifications, Valyr went silent for a bit before asking his other self a question.

”Probably?” Ataraxia shrugged his shoulders. ”They could give you the same title since the damage you dealt was higher than the one I achieved while killing the Elder Wyvern.”

”However, they could also give you a different title than the one got exactly because you dealt higher damage than I did,” he continued. ”Could go either way, really.”

Knowing that them talking about it wouldnʼt really lead them anywhere, Valyr went ahead and returned his attention back to his notification screen in order to confirm which of the two possibilities was correct.

[You have dealt a figure of damage deemed impossible for beings at your current class rank to achieve.]

[The Apparatus has classified such damage a Level 3 Note of Interest. Initializing Protocol DCR-77C-T5P…]

[Contacting all Administrators… 6 have responded.]

[…7 Administrators have responded.]

[Verifying damage dealt…]

[Verifying method used to achieve the damage dealt…]

[Confirming no traces of falsehood…]

[Confirming no traces of temporary possession by a higher-tiered being…]

[Confirming the non-existence of external assistance from higher-tiered beings…]

[…]

[The Apparatus and the Administrators have confirmed that the damage you dealt bears no falsehood and has been achieved through valid means.]

[Though, the Apparatus and the Administrators find it quite peculiar that this damage has been dealt not long after a similar feat was achieved.]

By the time Valyr got to this part of his notifications, the young man could not help but break out into a cold sweat.

After all, if he was understanding the notification correctly, then there was a high possibility that his achievement of dealing over a hundred million damage to the Giant Blazeworm King would be deemed ineligible by both the system and the Administrators.

Fortunately, the notifications that came after that did not head in the direction he thought it would.

[A Meeting of the Thirteen Skies has begun.]

[The topic of their meeting is your unbelievable feat.]

[…]

[The Administrators have come to a decision.]

[Though the timing is peculiar, the Administrators agree that the feat you have achieved is worthy of great recognition.]

[They also agree that you are an anomaly when compared to the other mortals of the universe.]

[…]

[Commencing Protocol A-RC-05-P…]

[The Administrators have invoked the Titular Achievement Commandment.]

[The Administrators have invoked the Titular Achievement Commandment.]

”Phew.”

Letting out a faint sigh of relief after he was done reading through the notifications, Valyr could not help but focus his attention on some of the notifications he had obtained from the system.

Specifically, the one talking about how he was an anomaly.

”Surely the system added this for no reason, right?” muttered the young man to himself, getting the feeling that it was just there to pad out the list of notifications he received.

Yet, as he continued to go through his notifications, he soon realized that the notification that caught his attention… was actually a key idea to the notifications that came next.

[Though itʼs a road only traveled by one other being before you, a greater pinnacle exists beyond the peak that you have achieved.]

[Having arrived at this greater peak, you stand above the universe as an incredibly unique being whose potential exceeds the boundaries of what is comprehensible.]

[Yet, you remain dissatisfied of your achievement, deciding to trek past this peak in hopes of finding an even higher peak.]

[As an anomalous existence of the universe, youʼve surprisingly succeeded in this endeavor, reaching what may just be the extreme limit of what is achievable for a mortal.]

[However, one question remains.]

[Would there ever come a time where someone else in the universe would achieve the same feat you did?]

[…Probably not for an incredibly long time.]

[And thus, for now, relish in the thought that you are the only being in this universe to achieve it… you anomaly.]

[Due to your actions, you have obtained the title ʼImmemorial Feat of Anomalous Abilityʼ.]

[Due to your actions, you have obtained the unique title ʼPrimordial Supremacy of the Sole Mortal Anomalyʼ.]

[Due to your actions, you have obtained the unique title ʼTrue Pinnacle of Extreme Mortal Destructionʼ.]
