MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmith

Chapter 1779 1779: Results of the Kill

ʼAm I… am I seeing things?ʼ

As the aftermath of Ataraxiaʼs attack began to settle, the two young men were soon able to see how much damage the former had truly dealt to the Elder Wyvern.

However, after seeing how massive of a value it was, as well as the fact that the number itself was pitch-black, both Valyr and Ataraxia were briefly in disbelief.

Then again, their reaction made a lot of sense.

After all, the greatest amount of damage the two had dealt thus far was just a few hundred thousand points shy of three million.

And that was done just before they fought against the Elder Wyvern.

Yet, in such a short amount of time, they were not only able to enough damage to kill the Elder Wyvern in one shot…

But also deal more than enough damage to kill it four more times after that?

Ding!

Just as Ataraxia was still trying to wrap his head around how heʼd been able to deal such a massive amount of damage to the Elder Wyvern, a string of notification sounds soon began to echo in his mind.

Feeling the strength within him begin increasing not long after those notifications, the young man went ahead and brought up his notifications, sharing it with Valyr through their connection in the process.

[With a 10+ level disparity between the user and the opponent, the amount of experience obtained shall be increased by 200%.]

[You have slain the Level 135 Elder Wyvern, Eoghedi (Immemorial Elite). You have gained 45,692,985 XP.]

[Through combat, you have shown that your path to supremacy has already begun to blossom. Yet, beyond the expectations of many, youʼve shown that the path youʼve chosen has far greater potential than initially believed.]

[…]

[Due to the feat you have achieved, you have gained the title ʼApex Hunterʼ.]

Reading through the first set of notifications he had received from the system, Ataraxia immediately let out a wide sigh of relief after seeing that his killing of the Elder Wyvern had finally given him [Apex Hunter].

ʼNow we can finally push our levels up to the peak of Rank 5,ʼ said the young man, chuckling as he gave Valyr a knowing glance.

ʼHuh? Oh, right.ʼ However, rather than respond to his words with the same level of excitement he did, the latter instead looked at absent-minded. ʼYeah, we can do that now.ʼ

Naturally, Ataraxia noticed his reaction. ʼ…Is there something wrong?ʼ

ʼNot really something wrong.ʼ Looking at the notifications his other self was sharing with him for a bit more, Valyr eventually looked back at the former, shaking his head before gesturing towards the systemʼs notifications.

ʼItʼs more like you should look at the notifications that come after.ʼ

ʼThe notifications that come after?ʼ Although he knew that he had gotten more notifications from the kill aside from the one that confirmed [Apex Hunter], Ataraxia didnʼt pay them much attention.

After all, thereʼs no way the notifications after [Apex Hunter] would be more interesting, ri—?!

Ding!

[Due to your actions, you have obtained the title ʼTrue Overkillʼ.]

[Though achieving a damage value of over a million classifies you as an elite being among the mortals, throughout the vast universe, many beings are still able to achieve this feat.]

[However, to deal an amount of damage equivalent to multiple of these values in one, you have successfully distinguished yourself from the rest… as a being capable of destruction, that is.]

[Due to your actions, you have obtained the title ʼMortal of Ancient Calamityʼ.]

[Throughout the history of the universe, many beings have gone past the limits of mortality, capable of dealing damage over a million to their foes.]

[Some have even surpassed this figure, unleashing a level of damage spanning at least a few million to those that dare hinder their paths.]

[Yet, only those who go past that figure truly stand out in the universe as incredibly unique beings.]

[Though dealing eight digits of damage may not seem like much in the grand scheme of things, for a mortal to be capable of doing so means that theyʼve already grasped a realm of power incomprehensible to anyone else.]

[A realm of power… reminiscent of those achieved by deities.]

[Due to your actions, you have obtained the title ʼGod Amongst Mortalsʼ.]

Glossing over the notification that confirmed [True Overkill], it went without saying that the young man was fully engrossed in reading the notifications after seeing what they contained.

For a while, Ataraxia was confused at what the notifications meant and what they signified, especially since the words that came before each actual notification felt cryptic in nature.

Though, when he noticed that the titles contained words that lined up with certain rarities, it did not take long for him to connect two and two together.

ʼ[Mortal of Ancient Calamity]… [God Amongst Mortals]… Itʼs the continuation of [Myth-transcending Mortal],ʼ he pondered out loud through their connection, glancing at his other self to see if his idea was correct.

ʼSeems like it,ʼ Valyr confirmed, his attention still mostly on the notifications. ʼThough only you would know how much of a boost each title gives, the other notifications that come along with it give a rough idea of how much damage you need to deal to get it.ʼ

ʼBetween them, [God Amongst Mortals] has the more obvious requirement,ʼ he continued. ʼOne of the notifications before it mentions dealing eight digits of damage. In other words, you need to deal at least 10 million damage to get the title.ʼ

Ataraxia faintly nodded in understanding.

ʼOf course, compared to those two, Iʼd say the last couple of notifications are the ones you should really pay attention to,ʼ said Valyr after that, only to then let out a chuckle. ʼWho knew the Administrators would get involved in this?ʼ

Hearing the word ʼAdministratorsʼ being mentioned, Ataraxiaʼs eyes slightly widened in interest as he scrolled down his notifications to see what his other self meant.

Though, once he did, the young man quickly understood why.

[You have dealt a figure of damage usually unachievable for beings at your current class rank.]

[The Apparatus has classified such damage a Level 1 Note of Interest. Initializing Protocol DCR-77C…]

[Contacting all Administrators… 4 have responded.]

[Verifying damage dealt…]

[Confirming no traces of falsehood…]

[Confirming the non-existence of external assistance from higher-tiered beings…]

[The Apparatus and the Administrators have confirmed that the damage you dealt bears no falsehood and has been achieved through valid means.]

[Commencing Protocol A-RC-05A…]

[The Administrators have invoked the Titular Achievement Commandment.]

[The Administrators have invoked the Titular Achievement Commandment.]

[…]

[To the few that have achieved an unimaginable realm of power as a mortal, many end up satisfied with what theyʼve done. After all, no other being in their vicinity would be able to replicate such a thing.]

[Yet, you chose to continue past it, wondering if there is a greater peak beyond the peak that you have already achieved.]

[Fortunately for you, there indeed exists one.]

[Though it wouldnʼt have existed without you.]

[Due to your actions, you have obtained the title ʼImmemorial Achievement of the Indomitable Mortalʼ.]

[Due to your actions, you have obtained the title ʼTrue Pinnacle of Extreme Mortal Destructionʼ.]
