MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmith

Chapter 953: The Unfettered Spearʼs Power ”When did he...?”

As Sellifer watched Valyr activate [Four Paths Azure Liberation] for the first time, the woman felt a hint of Divine-level power radiate from the latter all of a sudden, causing her to become vigilant out of nowhere.

Fortunately, that sensation did not last for too long, instead turning into a power that elevate Valyrʼs strength to an even higher level.

Catching her breath from the sudden feeling the young man gave her, Sellifer soon assessed the young manʼs strength once more, now getting the feeling that Valyr wielded a level of strength that would comfortably put him near the peak of what was possible for a mortal. ʼIʼm pretty sure Valyr didnʼt have a skill like this before,ʼ thought the woman to herself, watching the young man proceed in his fight against the peak Rank 5 Void Rabbit. ʼDid he hide such a skill like that from me?ʼ ʼNo, he wouldnʼt have.ʼ Sellifer soon shook her head at her thoughts, faintly smiling as she watched the young man disappear from the Void Rabbitʼs line of sight. ʼIf he did have something like that, he wouldʼve retrofitted it while he was still learning from me.ʼ ʼWith how melds with his Prime Azure Energy so seamlessly and smoothly, there could only be one reason why heʼs gotten his hands on a skill like that,ʼ inwardly muttered Sellifer to herself, letting out a sigh after that. ”And here I thought the Serpent Maiden had already gotten over it after Iʼve stopped making improvements to my Azure Energy,” said the woman soon after, only for her train of thought to stop in its tracks as she noticed the damage Valyr dealt to the Void Rabbit. ʼ-105,672ʼ

Bang!

With that, it did not take long for the Void Rabbit to hit a nearby tree after being sent flying, causing a proud smile to appear on the young manʼs face.

On the other hand, Sellifer took in a deep breath to calm herself down, having been proven wrong by Valyr once again on how he fared against higher-level opponents.

At the same time, it made her think twice about her train of thought from before, wondering if it was a good thing to let the Serpent Maiden continue to act this way. ”Well, itʼs not all that bad,” she concluded. ”Iʼve gained a lot from the Serpent Maiden as well anyway.” ”I just need to warn him of what might befall him in the future.” ”Especially if he plans to continue following what she tells him to do.” ...

Bang!

Watching the Void Rabbit collide against a nearby tree, a proud smile appeared on Valyrʼs face as he was inwardly left at a loss for words at the amount of damage he dealt. ”Over 100,000 damage with just one skill?” murmured the young man to himself out of shock. ”If I aimed for the rabbitʼs vitals, I wouldʼve removed half of its health in one go, then!”

Now getting an idea of why the skill was called a transcendental technique, the young man allowed a bit of his excitement to take control as he activated [Flash of the Azure Dragon]. Whoosh!

With his movement speed greatly boosted, it did not take long for the young man to arrive before the Void Rabbit, swiping up in the hopes of landing a free hit on it.

However, with it boasting higher vitality and agility than him, the rabbit was able to extricate itself from its current plight, expanding the distance between far enough to make Valyrʼs spear miss.

Then again, the same could not be said for Valyrʼs next attack, which struck the rabbit on the back of its neck. ʼ-75,456!!ʼ ”Squeak!” With a large gash having formed around its nape, the Void Rabbit was now greatly incensed towards Valyr, wanting nothing more than to turn the young man before it into its next meal.

At the same time, Valyrʼs eyes widened once more at the damage he dealt, recalling the passive effect his attacks had while under [Four Paths Azure Liberation].

Taking a brief look at it in his mind, Valyr finally found out the exact changes obtaining Prime Azure Energy brought to the skills he could access with [Unfettered Spear].

Commanding the system to bring up the description of the other skills under [Unfettered Spear], Valyr activated [Blink of the Azure Dragon] once more to dodge a swipe from the rabbit, only to retaliate soon after. ”[Tiger Sweeping the Mountains]!”

Bang! ʼ-211,344!ʼ ”Squeeaaakk!!!” With Valyr striking the rabbit at its hind legs, the rabbit let out a pained wail as it forced its body to turn around to meet its opponent.

Feeling part of the pain subside thanks to its high vitality, the Void Rabbit attempted an attack once more, swiping down with both of its front paws in a cross pattern.

Swoosh!

In response, Valyr swerved backward, only to meet a blast of energy from the Void Rabbit after that.

Bang!

Seeing the bolt of energy it threw explode into a large swath of darkness, the Void Rabbit inwardly gloated in delight, knowing that its opponent was weaker than it in terms of defense.

Yet, as the darkness subsided, the not affected by the attack at all. blanked out in shock as it found out Valyr was ”That couldʼve been bad,” said Valyr as he dispelled the shields he haphazardly formed. ”If that struck me, I probably wouldʼve been a goner for sure.”

Whoosh!

Then, making use of his heightened movement speed once more, the young man charged towards the rabbit, forcing the latter to make a move of its own. ”Squeak!!!”

Bang!

Slamming down both of its front paws on the ground, the rabbit hoped that one of its paws would land on its opponent, only to find out that its opponent had instead dodged its attacks with ease.

Becoming incensed once more, the rabbit wantonly sent out a barrage of energy bolts, using its rage as a way to increase the lethality of its attacks.

Yet, just like before, its opponent had been able to defend itself against the onslaught, conjuring wave after wave of barriers and shields that allowed him to coast through the entire barrage. ”[Tiger Sweeping the Mountains].”

Then, after realizing that the rabbit had exhausted all of its energy, Valyr struck out once more, activating one of his skills before landing a few more attacks after that.

Bang! Bang! Bang! ʼ-105,672ʼ ʼ-30,690ʼ ʼ-62,118!ʼ ʼ-30,432ʼ ”Squeaaaakkkk!!!”

With the rabbit letting out yet another pained cry, Valyr took a look at his opponentʼs current condition, only to find out that it only had 10% of its HP left.

Reminding himself that anything could still happen before his opponent was dead, Valyr proceeded to land an attack once more, dodging the rage-filled swipe the rabbit attempted at him.

Whoosh!

Ducking under its swipe, Valyr then activated [Blink of the Azure Dragon] one last time, only to appear to the side of its head not long after. ”I wonder... does the passive count the total number of normal attacks Iʼve made?” Raising his spear into the air, Valyr tightly gripped onto it as he noticed the rabbit looking in his direction. ”Or do I have to do five normal attacks in a row for it to count?”

Then, without hesitation, he swung it down around the rabbitʼs nape once more, inflicting a considerable amount of damage yet again.

Bang! ʼ-61,620!ʼ ”Guess I found out my answer.” Seeing the rabbitʼs health bar drop close to zero as it let out a pained cry, Valyr let out a slight chuckle as he struck out with his spear once more.

But this time...

He aimed for its head. ”Itʼs the latter.” ”[Phoenix Piercing the skies].”

Bang! ʼ-537,190!!!ʼ

Ding! [You have slain a Level 100 Void Rabbit (Ancient Elite).]
