MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmith

Chapter 891  Four Pillars: Mass Comprehension

Focusing his attention on the construct Vaughn made, Valyr immediately felt a strong feeling of resonance emanating from it.

Specifically, this resonance made him feel like he was close to touching upon the deepest of the truths the universe had to offer, subconsciously urging him to enter the construct at that very instant.

However, the young man fought against the urge, noticing the slight frown on Vaughnʼs face as he continued to manipulate the energy heʼd just infused.

Whoosh!

Fortunately, his willpower did not have to remain unyielding for long, with the beckoning feeling the construct gave him disappearing just half a minute after it was activated.

”Alright.” Vaughn let out a sigh of relief. ”Finally suppressed the energies within the shards to suit your level.”

Seeing the young man relax his body in response to those words, the man looked at him with an apologetic smile. ”Just so you know, I tried my best to rein in the shards the moment I activated the construct.”

In response, Valyr merely gave Vaughn a wry smile, wanting to tell the man that he didnʼt try his best enough.

He also thought of telling the man that he could have given him a heads-up before activating the construct.

ʼI donʼt know what would have happened if I were to enter the construct while I was being led into it, but Iʼm sure the outcome wouldnʼt be anything good.ʼ

In the end, Valyr kept those thoughts to himself, taking in a few deep breaths to calm his emotions before asking Vaughn a question. ”So, what do I do now?”

Sensing the slight anger underneath the young manʼs words, Vaughn inwardly let out a sigh. ”Just do what youʼd usually do. Enter the construct and then absorb as much of what the shards would give you to improve your comprehended concepts.”

”In any case, it is my fault for not giving you a heads-up before I activated the construct,” continued the man, causing Valyrʼs anger to slightly ease up. ”I expected you to be able to handle it, and you did. But thatʼs no reason to not inform you about it.”

”Itʼs fine.” Having acknowledged the matter, the young man decided to let bygones be bygones, moving their topic back to the construct. ”Anyways, do I have to focus on something specific? Like a specific concept or something?”

Sensing that Valyr had moved on from the matter, Vaughn decided to move on as well, shaking his head in response to the question. ”As I said, Iʼm using Crystallized Nomological Shards to power the Concept Impartation.”

”Whether you choose to focus improving your combat-related concepts or production-related concepts, the shards will help you out,” said the man with a faint sigh. ”In any case, the results are far better than a normal Concept Impartation where both the supplier and the receiver of the concepts needed to have comprehended similar paths.”

At those words, Valyr nodded as he made his way closer to the construct, sensing the deep truths of the universe being contained within it.

”A piece of advice.” Though, just as the young man was about to truly step foot in the construct, Vaughn decided to aid him a bit on where to focus. ”Focus on improving concepts that are close to breaking a higher realm first. Then, move on from there.”

”Iʼll keep that in mind.” Nodding once more to the manʼs words, Valyr finally proceeded into the construct.

Whoosh!

At the very moment he entered the construct, the surroundings had turned void black, with the twinkling of faint light from afar being the only source of light within the construct.

”Feels like Iʼve gone off to space,” muttered the young man to himself as he looked around.

Sensing that his feet were still on the ground, Valyr focused on the sensation as he slowly sat down cross-legged.

Closing his eyes to begin the Concept Impartation, the young man immediately felt the construct do its thing, bombarding him with an incessant amount of information related to the nomological truths of the universe.

Feeling the clarity and complexity of the information he was being given, Valyr was reminded of the Concept Impartation he received from Sellifer.

Though her Concept Impartation had allowed him to not only comprehend two Intent Seeds to the Intent level, but also comprehend an additional Intent Seed, the information Valyr got from it was as if he was looking at the universe behind a thick curtain.

In comparison, the construct made him feel like he was peering directly into the numerous truths the universe contained, giving him the freedom to peer into the specific truth he wanted.

ʼIʼve used Crystallized Nomological Shards in the past to forge Divine-level weapons, but never have I thought theyʼd be so effective for comprehending concepts as well,ʼ thought the young man to himself, briefly reminiscing over the past life.

After he was done reminiscing, Valyr took a calming breath before focusing all of his attention to improving the various concepts heʼd already comprehended.

ʼSince Vaughn said to focus on concepts close to breaking through first, guess Iʼll focus on those two Intent Seeds first.ʼ

With that thought in mind, the young man kept the Intent Seed of Forging and the Forgerʼs Flames in focus, faintly unsure whether the construct would work according to Vaughnʼs words.

Fortunately, the construct responded far greater than he thought it initially would, sending in droves upon droves of information regarding the concept of forging, as well as the flames one would use in forging.

Going through the information the construct was giving him, Valyr gradually felt all of the holes in his comprehension on the two concepts being patched up.

At the same time, he felt that his comprehension of the two concepts were becoming more solid, allowing him to aim for greater heights.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

Eventually, the two concepts were able to break through some sort of bottleneck, causing the young man to feel the world forming a connection with him once more.

Sensing the incessant amounts of energy the world was providing him through the two connections that had been formed, a satisfied smile soon arose on Valyrʼs face as he briefly took a look at the notifications he had obtained.

Ding!

[The grade of your Intent has been determined to be at 7th Grade.]

”7th Grade in one go.” Reading the level his new Intents were at, the young man briefly whistled in admiration, understanding it was due to the construct that both Intents had reached this grade from the start.

Seeing that Vaughn had not stopped him from comprehending more concepts, Valyr took the opportunity to focus on the sole Intent Seed he had at this point, the Intent Seed of True Mana.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Surprisingly, with him having already comprehended the Intent of Shadow Energy and the Four Elements, the information from those concepts combined with the information the construct was giving him, allowing him to comprehend more of the Intent Seed at a greater rate.

With that, it did not take long for the Intent Seed to reach the stage of culmination, only to break through to the realm of Intents sometime later.

Ding!

[Your understanding of the concept of true mana has taken on a qualitative change, solidifying into something that has the potential to encapsulate areas far bigger than the world before you.]

[...]

[Your Intent Seed of True Mana has transformed into the Intent of True Mana.]

[The grade of your Intent has been determined to be at 8th Grade.]

Noticing that the Intent had awakened at 8th Grade, Valyr immediately had his suspicions. ʼIʼm guessing it has something to do with the Intent of Shadow Energy and the Four Elements?ʼ

Recalling Vaughnʼs words about how his Concept Impartation would cause repercussions in the long run, the young man decided to focus on his attention on improving the first two Intents heʼd comprehended.

With the aid of the construct, he soon found out that Vaughnʼs words were correct, with the foundation the two Intents were standing on being somewhat unstable in certain aspects.

Patching the holes on their foundations, as well as fortifying it in preparation for higher stages, the two Intents eventually arrived at the 7th Grade just like the other Intents, with the Intent of True Mana soon following suit.

ʼHuh… the Concept Impartation isnʼt over yet?ʼ Feeling like he had comprehended all of his concepts to a respectable level, Valyr thought that Vaughn would have prompted to stop the impartation then and there.

Yet, just like before, the man was not interfering, allowing the information from the shards to continue flowing throughout the vastness of space.

Scratching the back of his head at the thought, the young man pondered on what concept he should focus on since he still had the leeway.

In the end, the young man decided to focus on the only concept he had yet to awaken, a concept that he felt like it should have awakened a long time ago.

The Intent Seed of the Spear.
